that health care worker, suspect surrendered here. she is accused of stealing money from a woman in hospice care woman in the final weeks, a nine two-year old woman who was dying and needed all of the help that she could get. you're charged with stealing from the woman you were supposed to be caring for do you have any comment on that? instead of giving mercy home health care workers allegedly took money from a dying, nine two-year old woman she was hired to help in, hospice care at the this apartment complex. >> she trusted her to do all of the things that she could not do for herself and this woman took total advantage of her. >> reporter: you air accused of stealing from a woman as she laid dying can you comment at all. >> reporter: judge now charged with stealing the elderly woman's bank card putting $200 into a phone account that allowed her to speak with the male inmate at graterford prison. >> she thought it was easy pickings to take this woman's credit card and use it to fund

one man is dead, two others hospitalized, following a triple shooting in philadelphia's fair hill neighborhood. "eyewitness news" in the 3100 block of north sixth street, police on routine patrol that gunfire and when they got to the scene they found all three victims. two survivors, a 22-year old man and 23 year-old man are now in stable condition and both are being held as suspects . police recovered three guns. philadelphia police need your help tonight as they search for a man who abduct and sexually assaulted a woman. they say that the victim was walking on east york street in fishtown early friday when the the suspect pointed a gun at her and forced her into this van. we also have the sketch of the suspect tonight p police described him as likely hispanic man, 21 to 25 years of age. they say he is about 5 feet seven to 5 feet ten with a light complexion. well, a van crashes in to a house in burlington township chopper three over that scene at the the 1,000 block of beverly road.

it is unclear why the driver lost control. nor do we know if anyone was injured there but we know new jersey state police are investigating. a new task force aims to identify and tear down deteriorating large buildings like this one to make philadelphia safer this vacant warehouse on north eighth street served as backdrop for mayor michael nutter's new plan. he announced inspectors from the fire department and licenses and inspections will work together to seek out dangerous build initial need of demolition. >> partnership is a pro active response to dangerous conditions that for years have hit the city of philadelphia and endangered the lives of our fire fighters and citizens alike. >> councilman dennie o'brien wrote the legislation that created this task force and it was in response to the death of two philadelphia fire fighters killed in 202 when a wall on a vacant building collapsed during a fire. l and i had classified this vacant south philadelphia home as imminently dangerous

a school bus driver in arizona is under investigation now for allegedly locking rowdy kid on board that bus. chaotic scene captured on surveillance video of kid screaming to get out.

cbs news correspondent vladamire duceya has that. >> unaudible. >> reporter: children push to the front of the bus trying to exit, but the driver would not unlock the door nearly 40 children were inside, many cried and screamed for their parents who were at the bus stop. some parents tried to pry open the doors others called 911. >> they have been sitting there for ten minutes and he is not letting kid out. >> then driver takes off. >> he is actually driving away. i want my kid off the bus. >> reporter: he takes the kid back to the elementary school where they were released from the bus in, injuries were reported. >> i had no idea what he was doing. i had in idea when went crazy the the way he took off he was speeding.

>> reporter: school district is conducting an investigation putting driver on administrative leave but some parents a that is not enough. >> they are responsible for all of those children on the bus to get home safely and he did the exact opposite of that. >> reporter: superintendent of the school says this was in the the the bus driver's schedule route but all drivers are responsible for children's safety. driver has resigned from his position. vladamire duceya, cbs news, new york. serious incident near boston as a tree comes crashing down on children playing and it was all caught on camera. take a look at this video from chelsea, massachusetts, half dozen children were playing when that tree fell down on top of them, two-year old suffered a fractured skull. >> it was just a shock to my parents, i ran over to help them get out, and the minute he was treated in the hospital, when they found my sister he opened his eyes. he recognized her. >> the the park had just been renovated.

well, it is almost here, sunday the 25th an 80 susan g komen race for the the cure for breast cancer. >> we are all going to be down there. kathy, you met with a woman earlier. she has unique symptoms that she knew just could not be ignored. >> she's an amazing woman. her name is jeaninne, she was a healthy, 26 year-old, with no family history of breast cancer. she was climbing the corporate ladder when a small ration her breast led to a dangerous diagnosis. >> it was a surreal moment. it was a numbing moment that took me a long time to come back from. >> reporter: with a diagnosis of stage three inflammatory breast cancer jeaninne donahue began a painful journey both physically and emotionally. >> we go into that fight mode and you do what you have to do to get where you have to get to live. you kind of put your life on hold so thaw can live in the

future. >> reporter: jeaninne was lucky, she had lump of the big irish italian family and his cousin michael shows his support. the best friend a manned ace by jeaninne's side and remembers how tough chemo was. >> even though that she was in so much pain, struggling, and going through so much she put on a brave face. >> my life has change. i have changed. i was fighting to be who i was, before. and there is nothing wrong with who i was at the that moment, i just didn't know who i was anymore. >> reporter: her search for similar survivors that understood her journey led jeaninne to komen philadelphia where she founded and head up the big pink footprint developing programs, and outreach for young survivors. >> she has the energy and the wisdom and the kindness to work with these women and experience that she has shared so that she is a very vital part of susan komen. >> it is just an amazing

the coast, bringing warmer air. back to summer-like conditions with a high temperature around 80. we will watch low pressure to the south slowly inch toward the mid-atlantic but still we are under the the influence of high pressure friday looks great, with plenty of sunshine and same goes as we work our way through saturday with mostly sunny skies. we are keeping an eye on that moisture to the south right now, it is a cluster of thunderstorms but it does have have a 60 percent chance of becoming tropical. if it did become a tropical storm it would be ana. we will keep an eye on that. in the meantime that moisture is expect to make it in the mid-atlantic region by the weekend and could bring as you digsal high cloud. that is all we're expecting at this point from the system. we will keep an eye on it toward mothers day weekend. overnight low temperature of 59. cloud breaking tomorrow. high 80. the mostly sun which a southerly wind. looking ahead to the three day forecast, 80 thursday.

in cape canaveral florida space x new launch escape system was tested. no actual humans were aboard the capsule but demonstrations simulated how those astronauts would escape in an event of the failure on the launch pad.

about the co pilot who intentionally crashed a germanwings flight last march. new report find co pilot rehearsed the very same maneuver on a earlier flight that same day. correspondent tina krause is in london. >> reporter: crash investigators say co pilot who deliberately slammed a jet line inner to a french mountain side practiced the suicide mix on the same plane just hours earlier. in the first official report, since the march disaster, officials revealed 27 year-old andrees lubitz put the plane in dissent mode five times in four and a half minutes and then brought it up again just like during fatal flight that the captain appeared to have left the cockpit. >> the chief investigators say he could not speculate what was going on inside the german co pilot's mind when he set controls to the minimum setting of 100 feet. cockpit data shows the plane did in the drop sharply suggesting people on the

baltimore today. first maryland governor, larry hogan, lifted the state of emergency in that troubled city after ten days. the also, the walt more mayor stephanie rollins blake asked the federal government for help to determine if that cities police force has a pattern of in misconduct. it includes excessive force and discrimination. >> such an investigation is essential if we are going to build on the foundation of reforms that we have instituted over the past few years. >> baltimore police union says it welcomes an investigation of the department. meantime lawyers for the six police officers charged in the death of 25 year-old freddie gray are vowing to fight these criminal charges. a florida mother uses a pizza hut app to help save herself and her children from a hostage situation. authorities say that cheryl treadway and her three kids were being held at knife point by her boyfriend. she was able to talk him into letting her use his cell phone to order food.
