authorities discovered the male victim in the doorway of an apartment complex on the 400 block of main street. detectives and medical examiner are on that scene right now. at this point police have not named a suspect or a motive. but once again murder investigation underway right now in darby borough. also breaking in bucks county, police are looking for two men wanted in a violent home invasion and robbery overnight. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo joins us now at new britain township police department with the very latest on this search. jan? >> reporter: ukee, erika police, as you mentioned, are still looking for these two home invasion and robbery suspects. they do have some clues now we are told, that the suspect got away with one cell phone so they're trying to use the pings from the cell phone to help track them down t last pinged in montgomery county, now i'm told the cell phone has been turned offer. in the meantime, one of the victims is recovering this morning, after he was pistol

whipped. >> this home invasion and robbery happened here, at old farm house on limekiln pike, chalfont, just after midnight. five people live here, in all all in their 20's, all renters. four young men were at home at the time. police say two men, two suspect, burst into the house through a back door, demanded the victims get down on to the ground, the suspect then stole cash, cell phone electronics it appears police say, that the suspect new what they were looking for i'm told there is was not random, the home was targeted, but it does look like they got away, police say, with less than they were expecting. take a listen. >> two black males enters the residence armed with handguns, robbed residents, four young males. the house was ransacked. some electronics were stolen, cell phone some cash. that's about all we have right now. >> reporter: now, the young man who was injured is recovering this morning again, pistol whipped however, he refused treatment

all five of the roommate here have now been questioned, and left police headquarters. they were too shaken up to go on camera. too shaken to up give me a comment this morning. again, police still looking for these two home invasion and robbery suspects. reporting live outside of the new britain township police department in bucks county, jan carabeo, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". all right, jan thank you. new this morning teenage here escaped custody while in handicuffs has turned himself in. the 16 year old accompanied by his lawyer and family including his brother former traffic court judge willie singletary, walked into southwest detectives late last night. the teens been wanted since wednesday when he escaped from private contractors that were hired to transport him from florida to philadelphia. >> worked throughout the day with the attorneys to convince the young man obviously scared to come here, to do the right thing. they were able to convince him to come here. the family brought him here. >> police say that singletary has a long criminal record. he was wanted by authority for

have police activity there so your best alternate is to use either chestnut or darby terrace. now, in regard to the police activity, it is affecting the route 11 trolley. they will be shuttle bussing because of police at fourth and main. just keep that in mind. ukee? >> thank you. fire fight remembers making progress, in the fight at wharton state, that forest fire there now 50% contained after scorch more than 700 acres. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us now in shamong to tell you more about the fire fighting effort. justin? >> uke eastbound, good morning, after a day of hard work, it does appear that that fire wharton state park has been brought under control as you mentioned it did burn more than 700 acres and taking you to video to the fire as it burned yesterday new jersey forest fire service work well into the night. searching for hot spots as well as flare-ups. this fire first in about 1:00 thursday afternoon just east of the at see on ranger station, and late yesterday came word that the fire was mostly contained about 50% contained or so, and that was

due in large part to the efforts here on the grounds. some 75 firefighters working around the clock to setback-fires, to weaken the stronger fire, also, planes and helicopters being sent up with water to douse those flames from on high. now, the forest fire service is looking into the cause of this fire. but they say the timing and conditions that led to this fire are certainly ripe. take a listen. >> conditions hasn't been a lot of wind, not a lot of strong wind, but just enough, 10-mile per hour breeze is very dry. we're in the middle of our forest fire season here in the pine barons. and a lot of this area has not burned since the 1920's and 30's, so it is very dense fuel, it is very inaccessible to motorized equipment. we have to do a lot of stuff on foot, and utilizing helicopters. >> when we saw that ... >> reporter: as you heard their conditions and terrain making it difficult out here to get that upper hand on the

fire but still it, does seem fire fight remembers working in the right direction to control this fire out here. you may see the heavy fog out here, that is not smoke. however, the fog plus the smoke may cause delays here on the area every route 206 near atsion road. unclear if the smoke and winds may have below toward -- below toward philadelphia. live in shamong justin finch "eyewitness news". >> we will check with you throughout the morning thank you. the delaware attorney general's office is charging a dover police officer with assault and in a alleged case of police brutality. let's show you dash cam video recorded two years ago recently released showing an officer kicking a suspect in the face. the officer has been identified as corporate tom webster. the american civil liberties union filed a civil lawsuit against the city of dover and the police department last year. alleging that the suspect latif dicker sean, was assault the. lawn suit filed after grand jury failed to indict officer webster in 2014.

but this week, the delaware attorney general's office took the case before a second grand jury, which charged corporal webster with second degree assault. >> he broke his jaw and knocked him unconscious. mr. dickerson was unconscious until he woke up in the police cruiser right outside the hospital. >> officer web stealth turned himself in on monday, has been released on bail, and also suspended without pay pending the outcome of the case. >> the justice department is expected to announced to that it will conduct a civil right investigation into the baltimore police. the feds want to know if baltimore police engage in discriminatory practices. mayor stephanie rawlings blake asked for the probe following the death of freddie gray. he suffered a fatal spine injury, and in police custody last month. >> well, it is graduation day at temple university, more than 9,000 graduate will get their diplomas this morning one person who will not be speaking at graduation is bill

pressure keep control over our area here today. even into the weekends, bub there are indirect impacts that come along with what else is going on, across the rest of the united states in terms of our weather pattern. let me explain. let's take things out here. first and for most, to nice wide zoom on storm scan3, and you can see off to the south here we've got more of the makings at this point of more well-defined storm systemment and that, now, has been named subtropical storm ana. you can see the rotation, the storm essentially going to be suppressed off to the south because of high pressure that's currently in place for us. still, very stormy weather by the way errupting across the southern planes, and then, here, because we're starting to see this storm system fuel, little bit more in the way of the moisture content certainly more heat, we are as a result going to end one more clouds. now, if you are going to perhaps be traveling south here in the next couple every days, rip countries being is a major concern from north carolina to south and even as far south as northeast most florida but there is storm again is no direct impact to

dad vail regatta closing kelly drive today until saturday night between strawberry mansion and fountain green. i would say if you can try to avoid kelly drive this weekend, that would probably be your best bet. try to take the schuylkill expressway. ukee? >> vittoria, thank you. new video released shows how septa bus got stuck on train tracks in south philly. you can me? this video bus traveling on columbus boulevard and makes u-turn at dickinson street. but, suddenly the driver slips out of her seat, somehow and the bus kept turning. it crossed over a median, on to the tracks, and nearly hit a stopped freight train. septa says, it is unacceptable that the driver was not wearing her seatbelt, and they're look to go reassure riders that their trip will be safe. >> we have not seen anything like. >> this if there is anyone out there that does not have on their seatbelt, we will be check to go make sure they're wearing their seatbelt. >> the driver and two passengers suffered minor injuries in this crash. septa is not releasing the name of the worker involved just yet.

"eyewitness news" on the scene of murder investigation in darby borough. police found a male victim in the doorway of apartment complex on the 400 block every main street. detectives and the medical examiner are on the scene right now. at this point police have not named a suspect or even a motive. but, again murder investigation right now going on in darby borough. >> also, breaking this morning, violent home invasion and robbery in bucks county. police say two men armed with guns burst into a home on south limekiln pike in chalfont just after midnight. four men were home at the time. now, police say the suspects ransacked the home before leaving with cash, cell phones, and other items. at least one victim was pistol whipped. police believe the home was targeted. also chopper three over wharton state forest in burlington county, where firefighters are making progress in battling a huge forest fire there. now, they do have the flames 50% contained, and they hope to have it fully contained soon.
