possibility after projectile that hit the train. maybe a rock or bullet, anyone's guest, meanwhile watching as repair crews enter the site, they are hoping to restore service to new york city. >> video uncovered by "eyewitness news", heading up a mangled mess of crushed metal is this window. that may provide evidence that backs up what train engineer brandon claims that something hit the train before the crash. >> woof seen damage to the left hands lower portion of the amtrak windshield. that we have asked the fbi to come in and look at for us. >> 3 miles away, colleagues of bostian reportedly told the amtrak engineer that something had hit a septa train as well. just moments before the amtrak crash. sources close to the investigation say the ntsb

investigators are looking for a couple fearing they may have committed just an unspeakable crime. throwing a baby from a bridge. that story is out of king zesting this morning natasha brunn has more from police and the video at the center of this investigation. >> if you drop anything it won't move. >> fifty-eighth and kingsessing, credible witness claims to have seen a young couple intentionally drop a baby over the bridge friday morning. >> i don't believe anybody would do anything that hideous. >> she sees female holding or what she describes as cradling a babe nay white blanket. and says the babe's bright brown complected and fuzzy hair. >> the frenzied witness called 911, all out search of the tracks below began. police stopped and searched two trains that passed un the bridge just after 11:00 a.m. after scouring trains, and miles of tracks, no baby was

ever found. surveillance did capture a couple thought to be involved in the incident walking away. >> we ' hoping this isn't what she saw. at this point we believe she saw what she saw.we think we have a child that is currently not accounted for at this point. >> police are continuing to investigate. meantime, they are asking anyone who may recognize this man, and woman seen in the video, to please contact police right away. in southwest philadelphia, natasha brown cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> maple syrup smell led to hazmat scarement all happened at the usps carrier in hamilton township. employees say they smelled something strong but sweet then started feeling sick. they were evacuated but crews didn't find anything suspicious. officials say no danger opening mail from that fast ill. >> i learning more about hepatitis scare in camden county this morning.

new york governor andrew cuomo pushing for major reforms in the nail salon industry, an investigation by the new york times that revealed workers are often poorly paid. cbs news correspondent vanita meyer records. >> it is just after 4:00 at this nail salon in mid town manhattan. we used a hidden camera to find out more about the

manicurist sitting across from us. >> speaking in spanish she described 11 hour work days, with little pay and no over time compensation. >> she told us wages are solo, she relies on tips. but if the tip is put on a credit card, she doesn't receive it. new york governor, and due cuomo, has promised to put an end to this. cuomo announced creation of tasker force that would recover unpaid wages and shutdown unlicensed businesses. >> many of the women in these facilities are desperate. they are not here legally they don't have working papers. >> nail salons part of eight and a half billion dollars industry nationwide. according to new york times investigation, workers mostly from asia, and south america, can be paid as little as a

cove nature park, 57 degrees, our present temperature, the winds out of the east northeast, but they're zero. so obviously very light winds out there this morning but not the fog that we have encountered over the last couple of weeks ends. 59 degrees temperature in philadelphia, that is out at the airport. fifty-four in allentown, 55 in the poconos dover, 60 degrees this morning wilmington, 59, trenton, 57 degrees. everybody very comfortable, it will be warm, no jackets needed but if you carry along an umbrella, if you have a hairdo or outfit, to keep safe no matter what in case we see a shower, not bad idea, storm storm scan3 showers off to the north. might be finding few of these showers moving through our area this afternoon possible if you see a shower or thunderstorm you can get a downpour out of any of those. so we do need some of the rain around here. pretty stem i yesterday. today really steamy. temperatures will be in the 80s, we get that mixture every

sunday and clouds, perhaps this should be flipped, maybe it should be clouds and sun. because could possibly be little cloudier than would you like today again the chance of shower or thunderstorm, we find that once again on sunday as well. we may be doing very same thing monday, but the temperatures should be little cooler. now, we see some rain puddles here. we haven't seen too many rain put unless our area. we had chances of rain coming up. as we go through today around about a 40% chance, that anybody will be seeing rain shower tomorrow, to monday, as well. by tuesday maybe the better chance of picking up rain showers, if we don't see them by then, looks as if it just drops down we get almost no chance of rain, by the time we get to the wednesday thursday timetable the way things are set up right now timing on all of this, one two showers maybe going through this morning but later on, that we find some showers really moving into the area. and what, computer models, one says quarter of an inch, the other says three quarters after inch, split it right

down the middle. maybe you see half inch. maybe you don't. we are finding some of the showers out here, they could still be out here at 9:00 as we go through tonight. and even during the overnight time period tomorrow few more showers within the riel many of possibility. we will be keeping these shower chances through the day on sunday not everywhere but chances of showers around the area. today eight a, philadelphia, 75 at the shore poconos 80 degrees, so humid day today, tonight 68 degrees still wind out of the southwest, and over theext few days, little bit different each day. zip for tomorrow, almost book ends of today. eight a degrees, chance of shower or thunderstorm, monday is cooler but still chance of shower or thunderstorm, same deal on tuesday, same temperature at 75, wednesday thursday, and friday, and at this point also next saturday, look to be spectacular so

we'll hole the weather to to that. >> startling video captures young girl, being dragged by her school bus. this all louisville kentucky, the driver in that red camaro actually speeding to up tell the bus driver to stop. eyewitnesses say, that student about five years old got her back pack stuck in the bus doors. she was dragged the lent after football field but only suffered scrapes. school district now investigating the incidents. >> near death experience what family is calling devine intervention. health reporter stephanie stahl with one young man's incredible story of how he says he came back from the dead. >> zach clemens is high school football player, seem like a healthy young man until? >> i was running, and i had collapsed. >> he dropped to the ground during pe class last week. >> not sure why. >> it was sudden cardiac arrest according to doctors. zach's mom was immediately called, and beat the ambulance to the hospital.

when they opened the ambulance door, he was blue, on top of him doing chest compressions. the family told he was dead. >> and they say that i was without a heartbeat for 20 minute. >> and just as hospital workers were ready to make it official they got a p. zach woke up days later, his recovery is described as incredible, and so is the story he tells of what he saw during the time he had no heartbeat. >> i saw a man with ruffle hair with kind of thick beard. it didn't take me long to realize that was geez us. >> his family cons vince dollars it was a near death miracle. >> he put his hands on my shoulder and told me everything would be all right and not to worry. i was just calm and just at peace. >> zach's dad said excepting his dad's experience -- his

i'm lynne abraham. when i became philadelphia's da, child victims had to face a judge ...a jury...the public... and testify eye to eye with their attackers. it wasn't right. so i got a constitutional amendment passed allowing children to testify remotely. i'm running for mayor for the same reason -- our children should come first. jim kenney and tony williams are fighting over public schools versus charters. i disagree. we have to improve education for all of our children.
