story, graduate student. >> that woman was jogging in rittenhouse park in new castle county some one grabbed her from behind but she broke free. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us live at newark police headquarters to bring us up to date just continue. >> reporter: erika, good morning. she was able to break free but what stands out in this case to police is that it happened in conditions, like this. broad daylight. the victim in this case, got a good look at the guy who attacked her and lurking around the park here to find him before it is too late. tuesday, just after 8:00 a.m. a with man jogging sees a strange man standing, on the the trail of rittenhouse park. so she chooses to go the other way, and then... >> a white male suspect lung out, grabbed her waist and rear end and able to break away ran home and called >> reporter: she escaped shaken but uninjured. newark police k-9 unit was called into look for signs of the man none were found.
6:32 am
police suspect that the man may be homeless, no surprise to some. >> they are known to have have people living in the park. i have seen them walking around. it doesn't surprise me. >> reporter: jogger is a 25 year-old grad student at university of delaware. word of whether happened has reached campus and put other students on a alert. >> you have to be careful. you should run with the partner. >> it makes me more aware when i'm jogging keeping track making sure you have your phone in case something happens. >> reporter: and so, a warning to rittenhouse park goers this morning, the the guy in this case police say is between 25 and 30 years old a a white male with dark hair, dark full beard, last seen wearing a red and white shirt and khaki pants. he was also, last seen carrying a blue bag. live from newark, justin finch for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a former member of the st. joes university softball team says she was subjected to

sexually charged hazing. now she's suing the the university. that with man says hazing that she suffered back in 2013 was so bad that she thought about committing suicide. her lawsuit also names softball coach terry adams st. joes suspended the teen after the hazing allegation first surfaced. the school did not want to comment on the lawsuit. former super model janice dickinson is suing bill cosby for defamation, in the the lawsuit filed yesterday dickinson claims that the comedian falsely called her a liar after she publicly claim that he sexually assaulted her 35 years ago. dickinson is one of the most well known of the more than 40 women who have accused cosby of sexual assault and at least second to file defamation suit. she's seeking a jury trial and unspecified damages. right now 6:33. lets check with katie for our forecast, if morning. >> we are starting off with some sunshine in some spots the here, erika but does not the last very long. the as a result of the storm system nearby we will end up with a lit built of the dreary shadow being cast on the
6:34 am
forecast here today and it appears that right now we have a wall of showers moving from western pennsylvania. doesn't it? we will focus off the shore of the carolinas here. that is your storm center. we will see most of the moisture moving from the south even though radar is definitely deceiving us on that. but, a across the the west most portion of the suburbs you might the see a few showers already in lancaster county or westbound on the pennsylvania turnpikwith that said here's where we stan temperature wise. don't expect these temperatures to climb very much folks. we have already a 40's here in the mountains and in the rehigh valley. would i expect in philadelphia, we will tack on another 7 degrees or so, so, 62 degrees, that is all we can hope for today. down the shore yeah, we have started off with some sunshine here but it isn't lasting long. eventually the clouds will thicken and especially through the afternoon we will see a steady rain moving through again, that is specific to the shore. further inland you go, toward philadelphia, we will think it is mainly a couple of showers
6:35 am
that will roll through this afternoon and this evening in scattered fashion but it is not worst idea from philadelphia on south just have an umbrella, not the a bad idea. >> not too awful, we will take it. we will switch gears for a second because unfortunately we will finally have chopper over the scene of a very serious incident this was a truck fire, it is a truck fire extinguish in the westbound side of the pennsylvania turnpike, just before downingtown. look at the this, tons of emergency personnel on the scene and ill will stay out of the the way so we can all take a look at this because i'm seeing this for the first time. the tons of emergency personnel seen, everything just really just torched by the looks of it. it does seem to be that everything has been extinguished. again, this is westbound on the pennsylvania turnpike just before you hit the downingtown area. we are also getting word that there is a 2-mile backup because of the westbound side of the pennsylvania turnpike earlier all lanes were closed, right now it does seem to be that they are allowing only
6:36 am
the left-hand lane to move wye. so you have one lane on the west bun side of the pennsylvania turnpike, beyond this incident scene just before downingtown. again, it was an an earlier truck fire they have extinguish. we will continue to keep you updated on that. this is actually the turnpike beyond the the area of 422 where we are seeing residual delays not the too far from that incident scene. give yourself more time and expect rush hour developments on the usual majors, erika. vittoria, thank you. right now 6:36. you have experienced this probably yourself but research shows men and with men are different in their a approach toes managing money. >> cbs news business analyst jill schlesinger said both can learn from one another. the she's up in new york for us right now. jill good morning. >> reporter: we can learn from each other but woman are better. >> here we go, boom. okay. two on one here. so is what up with the differences. >> reporter: well works man tend to view money more emotionally and they do focus on long term savings.
6:37 am
men, they are all about transactions, and performance. now this difference may explain why communicating about money is so difficult. we have a poll that shows americans in a relationship of those folks they said 67 percent said it is harder to talk about money then anything else. 29 percent thought it was harder to talk about sex just to put that in perspective. how about that. so how is this different impact investing. >> well, this is where we really shine portfolio platform sigfig conducted a study and found women investors earn 4.7 percent of year, men earn 4.1 per send. differential seems small, .6 of a percent but 100 grand invested over 30 years that gives woman a extra $58,000. now, of course, i love this stat despite under performance men were one and a half times more confident that they would beat the the market this year.
6:38 am
the big lesson men can learn from women is to stop traiting so much. under performance is because they trade way too much and it takes a bite out of their bottom line. >> yes, you know what jill, let's keep it real right now what can women learn from men. >> reporter: ran guard study found that women can be more risk avers then men. that can be good sometimes but not in the accounts stream. especially for younger woman who have decades to plan in the future. sometimes you need to take a little more risk, women and women tend to own more expensive funds then men so basically we're taking our money away on a annual basis. most importantly women really say they are not confident so women need to embrace their ability to manage your money kick your husband out of that role, trust yourself and for more men women and money including how women are better at planning for retirement, take that ukee, go to jill on money.com. ukee, hand your money over to the the women.
