philadelphia police are investigating whether the same person is responsible for two different attacks on women. early yesterday a woman awoke to find a suspect, on rosewood street. and, chadwick street just back in march. syma chowdhry joins us now live from special victims with more on this, syma? >> well, chris police say sim laster to both attacks in south philadelphia, and women were targeted in the in middle of the night in their bedrooms in point breeze, both times there was no signs of forced entry and suspect wore a bright color gloves. >> ended up being brazen, bowl. >> reporter: sexual predator is targeted women in south philadelphia. late's tack happened monday morning on the 1800 block of rosewood street in point breeze. police say the 35 year-old victim awoke to a masked man in her bedroom.

he demanded money and then sexually assaulted her. the attacker took cash, house keeps, victim's roommate id and fled with the car which is found only a few blocks away. because of the mask victim could in the describe her attacker but did say that he wore red orr range gloves. police believe that detail to a similar attack that happened on the 1700 block of chadwick street back in march but victim managed to fight off suspect. this sketch was made from that incident and now being used for both cases. each time the attack starts off as a robbery and turns violent. man does not the appear to be a weapon n both cases there was no forced entry. >> the occupants cannot say whether they locked doors or windows. >> reporter: crucial detail linking the two incident are red orr range gloves worn by at salient. because the attacks happened near one another. >> my guess would be that the individual may well be from within that neighborhood. >> the smith's have lived here

admitted to the crime after failing a police polygraph test. police are searching for a man who is believed to have taken up skirt photos of the shoppers a at a wegmans. the alleged incident happened at wegmans on bethlehem pike in montgomery township back in may on may ninth today police released surveillance photos of the suspect and they say a he ran from the store after woman confronted him and drove out of that parking rot in the minivan. more changes are coming to improved safety along a northeast corridor following deadly train derailment in philadelphia amtrak plans to install video cameras to monitor the engineers of the trains.
