breeze. police want to get this man off the street, he is wanted in connection to the robbery and sexual assault that took place, monday on the 1800 block of rosewood street. you're looking at surveillance video of the suspect getting out of the victim's car. the 35 year-old victim was sleeping when a mask man entered her bedroom demanded money and then sexually assaulted her. >> i don't get people that get their kicks harming other people. >> reporter: the attacker took $10, house keys, the the victim's roommates id and then fled in the victim's car again, seen on the surveillance video. video was found a few blocks on the corner of moore and chadwick and you can see him walking away. this is near an attempted sexual assault that took place in march that time, he was not wearing a mask, but had many similarities, as the late's salt. both victims had a similar description, including. >> orange or red gloves, that is one of the identifiers. >> reporter: look at the screen police developed this

all three victims are in the hospital tonight but they are in stable condition. police say four stray bullets also hit a home on the block but no one inside that home was hurt. detectives are hoping that surveillance video in that neighborhood will help lead them to the shooter. questions are swirling around a sexting scandal unfolding in a south jersey high school. mainly, what will happen if the students involved at lower cape may regional high school and how might it effect their futures. here's "eyewitness news", new jersey reporter cleve bryan. >> reporter: law enforcement and educators say students in lower cape may regional school district have a lot to learn about the dangers of sexting. >> they were sending inappropriate photographs to one another. >> reporter: police are per suing criminal charges after learning teenage boys were circulating need pictures of female student. twenty students including one considered an adult are being charged with invasion of privacy, a third degree offense. prosecutors bob taylor says it was his office's discretion not to pursue child porn grave charges but there are serious

news". fire officials are investigating the cause of the dead liz house fire, early this morning in brewerytown. this happened in the 2600 block of west thompson street, there. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao says victim was missing one life saving piece of equipment. fire fighters responding to the 2600 block of thompson street in two minutes and got this brewerytown fire under control in just 12. but, that wasn't fast enough to save the the man who lived here alone. >> the bedroom window started to get smokey. i ran over and i opened up the screen door and i knock on the door. >> reporter: with no response, edward taylor, who lives a across the street called 911 for help. fire fighters eventually found would the man on the first floor near where the the fire started, but officials say only smoke alarm was in the basement and it didn't work. >> we believe that if this person had a working smoke alarm, that they may have gotten out. >> reporter: now this community is left mourning her death, "eyewitness news" was

showing three thieves loading two motorcycles in a white van. this happened on the 1700 block of locust street in center city may 21st. majority of the thefts are happening in south philadelphia. police believe the scooters and motorcycles are being sold on the streets of camden. chopper three over the scene of the overturn tanker on the turnpike there the tanker hit a guardrail between the delaware valley and bensalem exits earlier this morning causing westbound lanes closures. officials say that tanker truck was carrying about 1800 gallons of diesel fuel but there was in leak in this accident. the driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. twenty opportunities from andrew jackson elementary school made their case for more school funding today. when philadelphia city council chambers and delivered paint brushes to council members. they say that the brushes are symbolic of the tools children need to succeed in the classroom. yesterday, the district asked city council for 105 million-dollar, for the the

>> yes, last year was a quiet year for hurricane but what does this year hold. hurricane season starts in just five days and today as kathy mentioned noah came out with their long awaited forecast, lets take a look. >> the the summer weather is here and with summer, comes the threat of hurricanes along the east coast. each year national ocean atmospheric administration or noah issued hurricane outlook for upcoming season which runs from june 1 to november 30th this year forecast calls for fewer storms then average and noah predicts six to 11 named storms three to six hurricanes and zero to two major hurricanes of category three or higher. >> main influence on this years hurricane season is el nino, el nino is naturally occurring climate pattern that lead to warm water temperatures in the eastern pacific. this in turn lead to wind sheer over atlantic ocean meaning hurricanes have a much harder time forming. el nino is expect to increase in intensity beginning in august and september which are the peak months of

hurricane season and continuing to increase in intensity right into the fall, october and november. so this could inhibit hurricane season. >> few weeks ago i spoke with doctor rich nash director of the national hurricane sent ber this season's outlook. he also stress that had people should in the let down their guard. >> we still have land falls in el nino years, we have had land falling hurricanes, major ones in below average hurricane seasons. don't get distracted by hanging your hat on the el nino effect making it a year where you can take the year off preparing for hurricanes. it doesn't work that way. >> true. >> yep. >> one thing doctor nash always says, that whole time, i was talking to him even if we have one hurricane fit comes in your town it is catastrophic. >> absolutely. >> definitely be prepared as would you in any event. >> very good advice. >> kate, thank you. what you need to know about taxpayer information that was stolen from the irs we will have that information

criminal investigation after revealing today that information about more than 100,000 taxpayers had been accessed on line by thieves. >> three on your side consumer reporter jim donovan joins with us information on this scheme and getting a lot of people nervous. >> they should be, guess contact irs says between february and mid-may thieves from possibly russia accessed the system called get transcript. this is an irs site where taxpayers can get copies of their old tax returns. the once the crooks got a hold of the information they filed new returns and collect nearly 50 million-dollar. the irs says information stolen from its get transcript site was used to claim tax

refund of 15,000 people, before they detect the breach. about 200,000 attempt were made to steel information and then a little more than half of them were successful, after security filters failed to stop them. >> social security number and a verifiable e-mail address one that would be attached to the social security number. then they get a series of questions and if they cap answer those questions correctly, they are in. >> reporter: the breached system has been since disable and irs says its main computer systems which handle tax filings were secure. adam levin, co founder of credit.com says, victims will be dealing with this for years to come. >> if you are a victim of tax related fraud you've got to assume because they have the information, they need to do that fraud that they will be in position to do other kind of fraud as a result of the access to your information.

regional high school. twenty students considering one adult are facing charges. clean up tips across texas and oklahoma after days of rain caused severe flooding. at least 19 people died and several others are still missing, as a result of those storms, we will have more on the texas storm in just a moment kate. and jessica, we are getting our own round of severe storms with potential flooding this afternoon on storm scan three the storms have been in moving through all afternoon, and notice that they are moving slightly to the north and east. that means the rain slowly moving over one particular area leading to the risk for flooding downpours. we have a lot of lightening with this one particular cell moving from eastern chester county in delaware county and portions of montgomery county as well. number of lightening strikes with just that cell, 31 and that is just in the past few minutes. the let's zoom in closer on storm scan three and track this out heading toward philadelphia, as we speak you can see over upper providence it is moving to the north and east at 35 miles an hour putting it in upper darby at

5:39. philadelphia, center city at 5:49. bensalem by 6:06. 6:25 p.m. crossing river into trenton. as this storm moves east it has a severe thunderstorm warning associated witt just east of that area and we are expecting this to go until 6:30 tonight, that includes city of philadelphia, main line delaware county and rest of the region. we will have more coming up, back to you. now lets go back down to texas, as we told you people in houston have a had to be rescued from their homes after torrential rain, led to massive flooding in that area. >> in one small texas neighborhood a teenager with the canoe saved the day. cbs news correspondent marley hall has the store friday houston. >> reporter: water still pooling in the drawers and refrigerator at this rabbi's house. the 78 year-old woke up to a foot of the water in his home in houston tuesday morning. >> the water was strong. when you walk in that water it was pushing you. >> reporter: the rabbi suffers from diabetes and was worried

he he could not get to his medication. but 17 year-old morgan davies knew the rabbi was in trouble and launched his own rescue mission. he borrowed his cousin's canoe and paddled right in the rabbi ease house. >> the canoe was right where were you standing. >> reporter: yes. >> davies and two others took him to higher ground and then went back out in the flood waters to rescue 12 others. most of them elder liz and home bound. >> one family climbed out through window screen which we had to cut opened. >> reporter: rat by says the teenager performed what he called, a missf a. >> it was a deed god would approve of a hundred percent. >> reporter: marley hall, cbs news houston. in other news out of texas happening right now bizarre police chase in the dallas fort worth area. this went on for about two hours this afternoon and what you can see was a very slow speed, at times this driver led police on the chase that was barely moving. the officers there showed

quite a bit of patients but eventually, a swat vehicle came in and rammed this white sedan, here it is, spinning that car out and ultimately bringing this case to an end. officers swept in arresting the suspect and there is no word what led to that chad. >> chase is underway for violent home invasion suspect in west philadelphia a. take a look at this surveillance video that shows the suspect accessing an apartment above the the eagle's corner chinese store on spruce street yesterday morning. once this man got inside he beat an employee of the store who was asleep with the blunt object. he then took off with some cash. the victim of that beating is hospitalized tonight. well, within the last hour former fifa vice-president jack warner has turned himself in for his connection with the massive corruption scandal. seven other officials have also been arrested. cws news reporter wendy gilette has more from new

york. >> reporter: u.s. prosecutors say top prosecutors accepted millions of dollars in bribes from marketing executives in exchange for the commercial rights to lucrative events. including a tournament to be played in the u.s. next year. >> they did this over, and over, year after year, tournament after tournament. >> reporter: seven official from his soccer's world government body known as fifa were arrested in seer i can wednesday, part of the 14 person indictment that alleged racketeering money laundering and wiretapping over more than two decades. >> what they did have in common was greed, greed that drove them to use and exploit their positions for cash. >> reporter: former fifa vice-president jack warner ace monk the defendants. he issued a statement claiming his innocence claiming i have been afforded no due process and have not even been questioned in this matter. prosecutors want to bring the fifa officials to the u.s. to stand trial but six of them have already made clear they plan to fight extradition.

tattoos may have long term health risks with symptoms lasting for years. cbs correspondent hanna daniels has more. >> reporter: newlywed caitlin and adam freelander share a love of tattoo. >> they blend together but i would say if i had to put a number on it, 20. >> reporter: freelanders never had any issues with their ink but new survey from nyu medical center shows that many people end up with complications from their tattoo. >> short term things that people talk about and people reported happening were things like delayed healing, things that sounded like infections, pain at that to citing for longer where things like itching, scaling, raised areas. >> reporter: researchers interviewed about 300 people in new york central park with a tattoo. most of them had five tattoos or less. 4 percent of people had reaction that is came on, and resolved quickly. 6 percent had chronic

kathy. >> we have watched this line of showers thunderstorms develop and new we are watching them march eastward across the delaware valley. you you can see that line well defined with those yellow and red and oranges some very heavy rain moving across the region on 76, 202. we have a picture of route 202 at 252 near chesterbrook just amazing with some flooding going on there blocking the roadway. this will be the the scene as we work our way through the evening commute. but as this moves north and east at 35 miles an hour, you can see lightening, red orange indicating some very heavy rain and that, red swirl right there, indicates a thunderstorm that may have rotation. we will keep a careful eye on that. as far as lightening is concern here in warrington 13 strikes alone and as we track this moving toward the northeast, we are talking about it moving through philadelphia within the next couple of minutes. it is already in the northwestern part of the county. it will be through camden by 6:01. that is within the next
