news police in chester are investigating a violent crash who killed two people. this two car crash happened at west second and pusey street and debris scattered a all over the roadway. police have not released victim's identity. we will have more, in a live report, coming up at 6:00 o'clock. another deadly accident involving a police cruiser is under investigation in delaware county good morning everyone. investigators say a chester patrol car hit a man on the by sickle during a pursuit. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao is at crozer-chester medical center where the man died from his injuries, jan. >> reporter: ukee and erika this man was just 24 years old. i was able to speak with his mother on the phone earlier this morning. she's shocked by what happened. she says he has never been in trouble before and wouldn't understand why he would be in trouble now but police say he was a suspect in the armed robbery. lets take a look at the video. chopper three over the scene last night where the incident happened. delaware county district attorney's office says around

8:30 police were pursuing a suspect forearmed robbery near keystone road and west 13th street in chester. d.a.'s office say suspect tried to get away on a bicycle while flying that spokesperson says man and police cruiser collided. chester police and delaware county criminal investigation division are investigating and again "eyewitness news" has spoken to the 24 year-old man's mother as she doesn't believe her son could have been involved in the armed robbery that police had a wrong man this man. she said her son was visiting from north carolina up to see his daughter and to attend his little sisters high school graduation. she said that dogs not make any sense. police are trying to sort this out and figure out how he was injured in the first place and what was behind this now deadly accident. we will continue to follow this story but for now we are live outside chester crozer medical center in chester jan carabao for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". we are learning more details about the deadly crash on i380 in the poconos.

it happened yesterday morning in tobyhanna monroe county about 115 miles north of philadelphia. a tractor trailer was traveling, southbound when it left the roadway and crossed in the northbound lanes. it struck another tractor trailer and a bus carrying italian tourist on their way to niagara falls. the bus driver, 54 year old alfredo tell mock owe was from new york and was one of three people killed in the accident. "eyewitness news" spoke to a truck driver who was shaken up by what he saw on the road. >> i'm on these road every day six or seven days a week, you know what i mean. it is definitely an impact to see another truck you know what i mean. >> reporter: more than a dozen people were injured in the deadly crash. new jersey state police are preparing to bury one of their state troopers. governor chris christie and lieutenant governor kim guadagno will attend the funeral of state trooper anthony raspa. he died saturday morning when his police cruiser struck a deer on interstate 195 in monmouth county.

you're witness weather watcher network is reporting again some cool air, we have lots of observations. thanks for watching and sending them in, guys. we have temperatures in the mid 50's. we will go right into one of those within the last ten minutes sandra sent in 55 degrees. she has a in mixture of clouds and sunshine. crisp cool. i like how she put this breathable air. you have great air quality because of the pattern that we have been in the middle ovulately. that is good news. 57 degrees the temperature send in from sandor, new man to the program. he sent this in the last couple of minutes. 57 degrees in newark. he also has some clouds and a hint of sunshine. no rain though, as a bonus. looking forward to any sun we can finally find out there we will get in on that. but this pesky system has been just hitting us now for a couple of days. and it will eventually get swept out to sea but for now we're still right on the verge of the leading edge of the moisture here. so we've got to allow for a

shower but i think it will be pretty isolated and you will likely see more sunshine and it is a lot of activity going on across eastern pacific. look at the the structure of what is now hurricane blanka, a very powerful category four hurricane. problem is we see these storms justin out to sea, no harm, no foul but this one is expected to continue to move northbound, so this is very likely to bring in very, very heavy rain, torrential rain, across the baha and that will even likely to start to move into portions of desert southwest. it could lead to major problems. meanwhile for our forecast we will warm it up with time back in the 80's by saturday. showers and storms there. sunday is looking absolutely beautiful. if you or perhaps on the way to cape may and our own kathy orr will be on the way to cape may today for orr at the shore. she will be live at washington street mall. one of my favorite spots down there the ugly mug and the christmas shop on the corner. love it, going town that way.

stop on down say hi, see what she has in store. it is coming up later today on the "eyewitness news" 59:00 and 6:00. vittoria, over to you. right now if you are traveling on the schuylkill expressway we are still dealing with a big old backup on the westbound side as i make your way just beyond that gulph mills exit. we had an earlier accident out there. police are on the scene but we are dealing with the lane being compromised. it does look like we are seeing more flow here so they could be working on it. a camera is just up ahead. this is the backup we are looking at. and less traveling westbound on the schuylkill, that could potentially run into your rush hour delay and make things a headache. stay with us, we will keep you updated on it. vine street expressway is great n delays in either direction to and from the schuylkill expressway. we see westbound being your taillights. it is still just a nice ride out there no matter how you cut it. i-95 we are picking up a little bit of rush hour traffic southbound at girard and it will only get worse so that will be would be formation spot that we're seeing. so besides rush hour we are

still dealing with the serious incident on southbound side of the new jersey turnpike, before 206 overturned tractor trailer, overturned tractor trailer, fire, three lanes being blocked and we will have have more details as they come in ukee. let's update breaking news right now. police investigating this situation right here a deadly crash in chester. two people were killed and two cars destroyed before 1:00 o'clock this morning. it is in the clear what caused the crash but investigators are once again on the scene right now. in chester authorities say a armed a robbery suspect at a a police car while trying to make a getaway on the bicycle. the alleged robbery took place at 13th and keystone. that suspect died at crozer-chester medical center. police say this man is armed and dangerous and wanted for a bank robbery yesterday in plymouth meeting montgomery county. investigators say the man fired a shot before making his getaway and the suspect could be the same man who rob a bryn mawr bank, on may 14th. and, arizona hiker says he is grateful to be alive after

"eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer is live in chester with the very latest, now with the benefit of the light of the day good morning. >> reporter: good morning, ukee and quarter. we are here at west second street in chester which you can see is opened to traffic after that two car crash that killed two people overnight. we are told that this happened shortly after 1:00 o'clock this morning. both of those victims unfortunately, were dead on arrival. vehicles involved in this crash, very badly damage. the car parts scattered all across the roadway. investigators were on the scene and tow truck came around 4:00 this morning to try to clean things up, the road was opened for a short time around 4:30 or 5:00 until chester fire commissioner actually rolled over debris in his own vehicle and called his crews back out to hose down the entire stretch of the west second street. at this hour there is no official cause but this is a highly travel stretch of
