have some cameras and video. now accident investigators were here on the scene in feltonville early this morning. crash happened around 1:30 a.m. police say a a 25 year-old man was crossing at this intersection when he was hit but it is unclear if he was crossing with or against the signal as that is part of the investigation. medics took him to einstein hospital where he underwent surgery for a number of injuries including head trauma and broken bones. police say he is in critical condition but expected to survive. here on the scene not much was left beside rick tim shoes. police only have a very limited description of the striking vehicle. >> the vehicle that struck him is being described as a black or dark colored honda or acura, that was last seen traveling north on the boulevard, from front street, on the enter lanes. the impact caused the 25 year-old victim to come out of

"eyewitness news" at scene of the 4800 block of tackawanna street in frankford the chase began in bensalem, driver led police on i-95 and into

northeast philadelphia eventually coming to a crashing end. an eyewitness described exactly what he saw. >> i seen helicopter coming through with the lights. next thing i looked up and i hear a big boom. i parked to the side and seen car skating through two other cars. when i looked back he hit another van and just started running. >> locally no one was injury. police arrested two suspects. it is unclear what prompted the chase. happening today, we will learn more about what caused the deadly amtrak derailment in philadelphia. national transportation safety board will announce its findings this monday. it reportedly, the engineer was using his cell phone. may 12th the train derailed along the curve in port richmond killing eight people and injuring about 200 others. meanwhile the house has voted to cut amtrak's budget by 242 million-dollar. however, lawmakers added new funding to install video cameras inside local cabs.

a courageous teen rush toes save an umpire's life during a baseball game. sixteen year-old michael brasinsky is an high school student at academy park high school and youth fire fighters certified in cpr with the darby boro and sharon hill fire companies. that training came in handy during a monday night baseball game. he had just reached second base when umpire at home blame collapsed. michael ran over and used his training to save the man's life. >> i started chest compressions and breaths and just kept doing it while they called 911. >> quick thinking there.

around girard avenue. it is just fine. in and out of the center city and north east it is nice and better development for folks on the vine street expressway. earlier we were dealing with the closure between schuylkill and broad street. they have reopen the roadway. both sides of the vine moving freely to and from i-95 and 76. all of our majors are fantastic. traveling in pennsylvania you will notice our average speed sensor is 55, same thing traveling new jersey, same thing in delaware. it is all good right now. unfortunately in vineland we have a down traffic signal at lake road so one lane is block. avoid that area if you can n delays for mass transit. things at the airport are looking fine and we will be just fine today, how about that katie. >> this will be one of those classic summer days just perfect, vittoria to get outside and enjoy while you can especially if you are not a big fan of the humidity. it will be hot but not terribly uncomfortable. that is what is great about days like this we will start

morning. >> reporter: erika and natasha, good morning. we are talking about another hit and run in philadelphia, this time happening in the feltonville section, happening just behind me at front street and boulevard and you know what we all know that this road is already dangerous enough to cross this accident happened at intersection here, now police are looking for driver still at large while victim rehad mains in the hospital. a pair of shoes is all that was left at the scene after serious hit and run in the feltonville section of philadelphia wednesday morning. police say a 25 year-old map was crossing here at front and boulevard around 1:30 when hit, multiple people called 911 to report the accident after the driver didn't stopped. meantime medics transported victim to einstein hospital where he underwent surgery forehead trauma and broken bones. police say he is critical but expected to survive. now accident investigators are trying to track down the driver. >> vehicle that struck him is described as
