the 7600 block of germantown avenue in chestnut hill near crescent valley drive. police are conducting a grid search in those woods looking for her this morning. police, detectives, swat and k-9 unit have been out here all night long. they have used bright lights, heat detecting equipment and their helicopter in the search for a 17 year old. this is her picture sarah wills of upper dublin. she was just 5 miles from where she lived where she disappeared last night. police say she was combing home from a cons inert new jersey with her father last night when she was not feeling well. police save they have gotten preliminary information that she may have been intoxicated they are not sure yet and that is part of the investigation. her father tells police she pulled over next to the woods here so she could relief herself. she left her phone in the car and when she didn't come back her father tells police he searched those woods her will self and then called 911. she has not been seen, since. but her first and other personal items have been found in the woods. but no sign of her just yet

in north philadelphia it happened last night in the 26 hundred block of north eighth street. police say the 31 year-old victim was sitting on the front steps when suspect walked up and shot him three times. "eyewitness news" described this suspect as a man in his 20's police are hoping surveillance cameras in the area captured the shooting. women known as black madam faces 70 years in prison when sentenced to day for a botched buttocks injection. page winslow was quick of third degree murder in march. one of her illegal silicone injections killed a tourist at a hotel near the airport in 2011. winslow claims she inject several celebrities over the years. and, get ready to crank up that air conditioning today, the temperature is soaring in the 90's and katie is just a start of the heat wave. >> we believe it will be, yes. >> that is the story for us here we're sticking to it. it looks like a very easy time getting into those lower 90's

air. with the dew point temperature as high as 66, it is right around the point where you start to note that is steaminess. that is where we will end up on the comfort index. as day progresses, expect temperatures to just keep on sky rocketing, 92 by 3:00 p.m. we expect 93 to be the official high. there will be just a spotty shower, perhaps a then are storm. i don't think most of you end up with this, mess of you probably end up with dry weather all day but we do have to allow for a shower or a storm especially from philadelphia on north as the day progresses. in the meantime we are off to that warm start you saw those temperatures. we are in the mid 60's vittoria and it can only go up from here. >> i don't hate it. right now travel out and but will notice rush hour is starting to take place. we will give you a look at what you are dealing w schuylkill expressway doesn't look awful. you are traveling westbound at

city avenue we are create ago this pocket. in and out of the center city we are in the seeing a problem just yet this shot around montgomery drive not too far from the roosevelt boulevard that is always breaking point. we will see heavier saturated track westbound at city and around vine street expressway at 30th street station. we are still waiting for things to ramp up more but we have some delays out there not too far from center city or heading into using i-95. 422 around trooper road still looking good. i would imagine still some nice speed sensors overall but we are starting to indicate that slow down again primarily on i-95. schuylkill expressway relatively in the clear but i never trust 76 ever especially westbound at city avenue. plan accordingly for. that traveling in new jersey and delaware speed sensors are looking great and be mindful of construction traveling in this area that may set you back natasha.

former texas police officer accused of using excessive force at a pool party is apologizing for his actions. cell phone video right here shows officer eric case bolt taking down a black teenage girl and pointing his gun at other teens. casebolt and other officers were responding to a report of the disturbance at a pool. casebolt resign on tuesday and his attorney says her client had responded to, two suicide calls before that pool incident. >> with all that has happened that day he allowed his emotions to get the better of him. eric regrets that his conduct portrayed him and his department, in a negative light. we are continuing to follow breaking news, right now, the search for a missing teenager expands after she vanishes in the woods on the way home from the concert. police have found her belongings but there is no sign of the 17 year-old. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch has more on this new. >> reporter: report before senate panel wednesday the ntsb gave its latest find initial to amtrak engineer brandon bostian's cell phone use. >> we have determined that there was no talking or texting or data usage involved. >> reporter: bostian's phone record are key as ntsb tries to pinpoint a cause of the deadly derailment of amtrak train 188 last month. engineers are not allowed to use cell phones and bostian has denied using his. the train took frankford

you any new developments on television and on line at cbs philly.com. 6:34 now. time for traffic and weather together. good morning katie. >> good morning. we are starting off on a hazy note in some locations. we have a hint of that cloud cover. it is more than anything just looking almost misty just because we have got more moisture starting to build up in our atmosphere but most of the day it is, in fact, going to stay rain free for us here as storm scan three at the moment is completely rain free. we are eventually going to see a weak frontal boundary cross through and that could trigger a spotty shower or gusty thunderstorm. in the meantime air quality is less than ideal it is an unhealthy daze, in all of those counties shaded in the gray area basically the entire delaware val that i falls into this. if you're a sensitive group in other words kid elderly asthma respiratory illness of any kind be extra careful on days like this. it will be one of those days where at the height of the afternoon it doesn't feel that

comfortable. 71 degrees the temperature currently at philly international. i wouldn't call that terribly comfortable but humidity is not terrible just yet but look at where we end up. 93 degrees. we do flirt with record territory. low to mid 80's expectation at the shore as well as in the poconos. we are expect to go see just a spotty shower or thunderstorm, as well, firing up, throughout the day. so keyword spotty when it comes to the wet weather it is worth a mention but would i say most of us are looking at a hot dry day humid though. >> well, that is good news at least the sunnies out for a bit. traffic is spotty too in areas, lets take a look outside because if you are traveling, look at behind me 95, yikes. maybe in the so spotty on i-95. maybe on the northbound side. southbound i cannot say that much. if you are traveling southbound on i-95 out of the northeast making your way down through the vine street expressway you will definitely notice delay that stands in front of you this shot not too far from the betsy ross

>> well, when i was 13 months oldy was diagnosed with a cancer a rare liver cancer and after 15 round of chemotherapy and three surgeries with the final surgery being a 80 percent liver recession when i was two i was finally cured and cancer free, and it is, it is incredible. i feel blessed every day. all i can do is just want to give back. >> it is a bless to go see you here and doing so well. tell us more about why people should get involved and why these phones should be ringing right now. >> because when you donate and it helps everybody and it is such a great cause and a donations mean a lot even the smallest donation can change something. it can find a cure, and change the world. >> thank you so much. again so good to see you doing so well and thanks for being with us yet again this year.

new jersey's pension system is a mess but don't blame teachers and other school employees. over 20 years, teachers have paid more than 10 billion dollars into their pensions, but new jersey politicians have paid just three underfunding teacher pensions by billions. unless the state makes its pension payments the entire fund could disappear in twelve years- threatening over 200 thousand teachers with poverty in retirement. school employees have done their part. now, politicians need to do theirs. it's only fair.

give you a quick update on the breaking news, search continues for missing teenager, 17 year-old sarah wills was last seen getting out of her father a's car in the 7600 block of germantown avenue in chestnut hill around 8:15 last night. we understand they did fine her. so we are looking live at that scene, again she has been found. we got this in a few moments ago 17 year-old sarah wills missing has been found so great news to report this morning. >> yeah. >> we will stay on top of this situation there and the developments around how they found her and everything else, jan carabao has been following this throughout the morning so we will stay on top and get more information, it looks like that could possibly be her father, someone looks to be hugging someone there we are not sure exactly what the circumstances are surrounding i'm sorry are we looking so there is sarah. >> yes. >> i'm told she was found by relatives but her father

hugging her very emotional as you can imagine as this has pretty much been throughout the morning been a terrifying morning as they didn't necessity where she was. police were scouring area in chestnut hill area trying to figure out where she was and what happened to her. this has been an hour's long struggle for them to figure out what happened. >> all night long they were searching for her she just walk out of the wood a few moments ago lots of hugs. she was last seen last night by her father around 8:15 he was picking her up from a concert. she got out of the woods and she did not come back to the car. they found her belongings in those woods but it took until now to find her almost two hours later, so what a relief for family, parents that she is okay. we don't know what happened if something happened in those woods if they were there on her own will or if somebody took her but she just walk out of the woods a few minutes ago. >> very emotional reunion
