green, inside of her home in the 4900 block of war income street, in the logan section of philadelphia. "eyewitness news" reporter matt rivers is outside police headquarters tonight with the latest on the investigation matt? >> reporter: chris and jessica, police are still searching for 28 year-old, jarill hall, who is responsible for the stabbing, and the ultimate killing of his long time girlfriend, the mother of his three children. anguish pride from the 4900 block of warknock street on wednesday as 28 year-old brittany green's family gathered just down the street from where she was murdered. >> she was stabbed multiple times and unfortunately also, her throat was slit. it was a very vicious murder. >> reporter: police say green and her long time boyfriend jarill hall were arguing around 7:00 a.m. they say he stab her and fled the home with the couple's three children. >> they were in the house when it happen. i won't confirm that they saw it or in the but they were in

the house abe at the very least they did hear this horrible thing happen to their mother. >> reporter: he dropped children age six eight, ten off at his mother's house and has not been seen ever since. it was his mother who called 911, apparently not the first time hall abused green. >> he has been arrested several times a couple times for a all thing her. he recently got out of jail not so long ago. >> reporter: her family asks for community help amid the personal grief. >> i am begging y'all please help me fine my daughter's killer please. >> police say 28 year-old jarill hall is 140-pound and about 5-foot ten and should be considered armed and dangerous and remain on the loose this evening. if you know anything, you are asked to call 911. we are live outside police headquarters, matt rivers for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> horrible, matt, thanks very much. tropical storm bill bill has weekend into a tropical depression but all eyes

remains on the storm. governor of texas said his state so farrah voided the worst. that storm soaked many of the same area that saw record rain and severe flooding last month. here at home we are watching, bill's track closely that could head our way and we are tracking rain for tomorrow. meteorologist kathy orr is live on the cbs-3 sky deck with the first forecast, kathy. >> we have cloud out here right now and temperature has fallen. we have a few spotty showers on storm scan three before numerous showers expect overnight and tomorrow morning. let's take assume in air is quite dry but a few of these spotty showers in south jersey are making it to the ground. they may feel a huge sprinkle otherwise main event will come overnight tomorrow morning. right now we're down to 77. we're cooling down and average high for this time of the year is eight 36789 right now 77, 81 in reading.

seventy the atlantic city airport. much different from yesterday. we will have a spring have or two late tonight and in anticipation of the rain tomorrow morning. then all eyes are on the remnants of bill, area of low pressure over dallas bringing very heavy rain moving north/north east and on this track it will move through the midwest, and then be very close to the delaware valley by the weekend. the track, three to 5 inches of rain and it will continue on this track toward us, could be a weekend spoiler and that cost put weather for fathers day any jeopardy. we will talk about that with the seven day forecast when i join you inside. a dead baby dolphin is getting a lot of attention on social media because it appears to have a shark bite. >> this dolphin remains were discovered off fourth street beach in north wildwood.

"eyewitness news", new jersey reporter cleve bryan has this story. >> reporter: some people freaked out others trying not to worry after learning that this baby dolphin bitten by a shark or shark watched saturday at fourth avenue in north wildwood. >> that is why i'm not going swimming today. >> one in the million chance, you know, you will get bit by a shark. >> reporter: they pulled the dolphin out of the surf and they snapped this current photo. >> wow, until she flipped the dolphin over i guess she she got a shark bite. it looked like one shark came up and chump. >> reporter: beach patrol threw ate way not realizing it should have have been reported to the in in reen mammal stranding director. the director bob says the shark got the dolphin after it was already dead and suspects a nurse tiger was culprit. >> if they are floating on the surface they become food for sharks and that particular dolphin, was definitely food for sharks.

>> reporter: officialness north wildwood said despite picture coinciding with two shark attacks in north carolina there is no extra safety concern for sharks at the jersey shore. what they are worried about each summer is under toe and people swimming on under protect beaches. >> in fact, dolphin folks coming down here should pay attention to where they are swimming and pay attention to the life guard and that will keep you safe. >> reporter: marine mammal stranding center says if you see an animal in the surf that is dead or injured stay away because you don't know what is nearby. in north wildwood i'm cleve bryan, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". now to a violent confrontation that happened during the morning commute. search is on for a man who attacked a woman at a septa station. our natasha brownies live at septa headquarters in center city with more. >> reporter: victim was about to board the train when this slashing attack happened and now, police want to give you a glimpse of the suspect they are looking for at this hour. septa police hope this video will lead them to the man

suspect of slashing a 50 year-old woman with the razor on her forearm wednesday morning it happen along market frankford line at margaret station: thirty lease say there was a verbal exchange between the suspect and this victim before the attack. officers say that the victim did not know her attacker, and that they don't know what prompted the violence. >> as she approached the fair line, a man began speaking to her, and an argument ensued the man punched her, he does in the know that man, and had never seen him before, and she defended herself, for the back, at which point the man drew a razor and cut her on her forearm. >> reporter: victim received a 5-inch gash to her forearm and suspect ran to the street level area and got away. septa police are now searching through surveillance video from hundreds of the cameras from within their system hoping to find other evidence that may lead them to their suspect. >> we rarely have an incident

of violence, and this is disturbing to us and we want to get information out so public can help us find this person so we can arrest him. well victim took herself to frankford hospital where she received stitches and later was released. meantime anyone with information about this suspect is asked to contact police right away. live at septa headquarters, natasha brown cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> natasha, thank you very much. west philadelphia day care has to be evacuated after a housing authority van smashed right in the building. this happened this morning at the caring center at 31st and spring garden. now all of the children and staff inside of the building were able to get out safely but the driver had to be taken to the hospital with injuries that are said not to be life threatening. authorities are looking into why that driver lost control of the van. several people are injured in this car crash in yeadon delaware county. it happened at intersection of long acre boulevard and west cobbs creek parkway just

before 10:00 this morning. one of the victims an aqua america employee was working in the street at the time, and was hit by one of the vehicles. there is in word on that person's condition at this hour. rite aide is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person robbed a store in had than on field. police say the suspect stole prescription drugs from the pharmacy yesterday. an eyewitness was feet away when he pulled a gun and jump the counter. >> i was just so startled, i mean, between the get up, and hopping the counter and all of the screaming yelling and then, pulling something out that looked like a gun. it was just startling. you didn't know what to do. you put your hand up. you didn't move. you just, didn't want to get hurt and didn't want to see anybody get hurt. >> suspects then carjacked a priest in the parking lot and late's abandoned that car. this suspect is described as a white man 6-foot two

this bucks county woman was misdiagnosed with a serious illness and the treatment, may have jeopardized her future. our health reporter stephanie stahl will have more on why this medical mistake is happening to a surprising number of people, that is tonight on "eyewitness news" at 11:00 o'clock. if you have been down to ocean city lately you have seen some unusual characters hanging around the boardwalk parentally some red foxes have set up shop, under the boards near saint charles place. that is near brown's which ace popular restaurant men for its doughnuts. although fox's just can't get enough of the sweet treats brown's owner has asked customers to stop feeding them. >> i want those doughnuts too. >> yes. >> i don't want the foxes around. >> no, they are pretty. >> yeah, right. >> south jersey mom has shown her pride in her son's accomplishments in a huge way.

>> yes, she has she wented a billboard near his school in camden to let everybody know that he is the total package. "eyewitness news" reporter alexandria hoff spoke with mom and son and has her story. >> reporter: in a sea of signage one smiling face, stand out above the rest. aj is an 18 year-old from camden set to graduate leap academy next week. he knew his mom would be proud but wasn't sure she would rent a billboard at seventh and cooper. >> he said how did you get that up there. so he was deathly surprised. >> reporter: billboard reads a mother can't raise a man but i raised a gentlemen. something that she hopes resonates with other single moms. >> lead by example if i can do it, you can do it too. >> reporter: raising a child in camden isn't always easy, aside from the city battling drugs and violence, 35 percent of adults haven't graduated high school and 8 percent have earn a bachelor's degree but

>> huge change. it is getting cooler and cooler by the hour. we have cloud moving n our next weather system which could mean business come tomorrow morning. we are talking about a slow morning commute with heavy downpours and that is just appetizer. the main event could come this weekend, and we will talk more about the remnants of the tropical storm bill, bill, you know never really liked that storm anyway. lets look at outside and show you what is going on. down the boardwalk we are looking good with clouds, sun but nice day to be outside with temperatures mainly in the 70's. on storm scan three we have had some showers moving through most of this not making it to the ground but a few showers and sprinkles are. they will be more numerous as we work our way through the evening. now when we're talking about temperatures we have cooled down significantly. philadelphia 77. trenton 74. in millville 75. atlantic city airport at 70. same as ocean water temperature. cool down the shore with the sea breeze. sea isle city 70. barnegat light with the

easterly flow at 67. some 10 degrees cooler then in the city where we're still in the upper 70's. i want to look at our probability of precipitation tomorrow a 90 percent chance of rain, it will rain tomorrow morning. friday spotty shower, possible, same saturday, and sunday a good bit as well with the remnants of the tropical storm bill moving our way. future weather shows mostly cloudy skies during the evening period, real rain moves in overnight after 2:00 a.m. look at 7:00 a.m. heavy rain coming down our major highways as well, that continues through about noon time and then we will dry it out. a a few lingering showers to the west but we are in the clear. if we have parties graduations, last day of school afternoon you'll be okay. here's the precipitation by noon tomorrow, so, the sun spots half inch perhaps in wilmington, .9 in philadelphia, that would be quite heavy trenton possibly over an inch and lower a accumulation through south jersey and delaware. it is all because of this an area of low pressure swinging

a warm front through. we will dry it out. friday we have a weak front that could produce a spotty shower or thunderstorm not a great bet but we could see one pop up temperatures in the 80's. then we will watch saturday. remnant of bill push on through tennessee valley lying to the south and that could bring some showers maybe a then are storm to the south a better chance on sunday is that moving a little bit closer to the region. we will keep you updated but make sure you are aware because of the big holiday weekend for fathers day. cloud building overnight. showers move in. heavy at times tomorrow morning. high temperature thursday 79 degrees. looking ahead on the exclusive seven day forecast and shore cast friday 86 degrees. saturday 84. sunday some showers and storms possible, some with heavy downpours. we will keep an eye on the remnants of bill, maybe it will go south that would be the best case scenario. then you can see monday 90 and cooler for tuesday and wednesday. i want to remind you that orr will be down the shore stone
