investigators are standing by. one of the things we have been able to do in the past couple of hours is set up a 1-800 number for any leads that could come into this task force. that would be 1-800-call-fbi. the number is also listed there. there are operators standing by to take any information that would be provided. and what we're asking is regardless of how small people think that the information they have might be we want them to call us. we have investigative teams that are prepared to go out and follow every lead that is sent into this hot line number. and that's what we really need at this point. we need information. we have a good starting point here. we have a good suspect and what we need now is to get the assistance of the community. if they see this car, if they see this individual we do not want them to approach this person. we want them to call 911 and allow us and our partners to

address this situation. >> do you believe in the charleston area? >> we have no reason to believe he's not in the charleston area. he could be outside and we're disseminating this information broadly across all of our law enforcement partners not only on charleston region, but also on the east coast. >> motive? >> as i said earlier, we believe this is a hate crime. that's how we're investigating it. communicating not just to the region, but also to law enforcement agencies throughout the united states. that communication process is in place. same information that you have has been broadcast to law enforcement at the local, state and federal level all across the united states. [ inaudible ] >> well obviously at this point we want everyone to be vigilant want them to see if they see anything suspicious they want them to call us and right now we have got teams of investigators, we have uniform officers, we have fbi agents all over the city. and along with our local law enforcement partners. so we'll be looking for this individual and for this car just like everyone else. this is an all hands on deck effort with the community as well as law enforcement. and i think with that effort we'll find this person quickly.

half of the day and it does brighten up, thankfully with time as we wrap up this coming workweek. more on that as the show progresses vittoria. right now rush hour continues to progress, traveling, on i-95 that is our worst roadway at the time but lets first look outside and see where we're headed to first and that is it. traveling on the roosevelt boulevard in the southbound direction you'll note that is string of headlines merging together as we approach the area of south and moving through the schuylkill this delay will continue to build. a as we take in this shot. look at how hazy, wet rainy it is, we will have low visibility and rain will definitely add a lot more slowness towards your commute. if you are traveling elsewhere like on 422 eastbound we are seeing delays out of both 02 but look at this space you have. even though it is slow at least for right now we are still moving. would i say give it 15 to 20 minutes and then it will be that usual stand still thaw

accident. in any case on the northbound side of i-95, this will not be a good place to be commuting at this point here. big time volume including the rain and we have rush hour and gaper delay on the opposite side. give yourself more time and call ahead as well to the airport, nicole. now to breaking news in south carolina police released a photo of the suspect they believe shot and killed a pastor and eight others in a church in charleston. he is described as a white man in his early 20's. police in reason to think that suspect has left the charleston area. the gun man opened fire in the east manual ame church during a prayer meeting last night. police are calling the a attack at the historic black church a hate crime and say the fbi will be involved in this investigation. >> extremely dangerous individual, and we need the public's assistance to identify him a as quickly as possible. >> there were survivors in the a attack but it is unclear how many at this time.

police plan to give another update on the search around 7:00 this morning. meanwhile septa riders are on alert this morning after a frightening attack at the market frankford el station. police say that the man captured right here in that surveillance video, slashed a woman. the attack happened yesterday morning at the margaret orthodox station. fifty year-old victim told police the man whom she had never met before began arguing with her and then got physical. she was treated for a cut on her forearm. the fifth juror has been dismissed in the trial for james holmes, man accused of opening fire in the colorado movie theater. judge says that the juror did not reveal enough about knowing one of the witnesses. all of the jurors who have been dismissed in the past eight days have been removed for different reasons. holmes pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in the 2012 attacks that killed 12 people and injured 70 others. right now it is 5:34. happening today the wearable exercise tracker the fitbit is
