installed. water started spewing out around 3:00 o'clock putting the parking lot under water and creating problems for businesses. >> we didn't know what was going on and then all of a sudden water came rushing in the front door, and, we had, asked if we could get out and back door but by the time i got here i said i could not get to the car. >> reporter: her carries ruin. >> water inside, and as you can see it is up to the wheels so just turned tonight to my insurance agency. >> reporter: water crew where is on the scene in minutes but water kept fledge even getting inside some stores. >> i went to the door to see what was going on and there was water flooding through the front. >> reporter: water pressure in stores and nearby homes has already and will continue to decrease but crews are confident, that there won't be an entire loss of water. >> and it ran at a rate, at its highest for a full 24 hours, about 100 million gallons of water escape the main. >> reporter: that number is are high that is if the water

roof in north carolina after receiving a tip. police say that he has been a hour inside of the bible study class at emmanuel ame church last night before he opened fire, killing nine people. there is no known motive in that crime but fbi is investigating this as a hate crime. today the president spoke about this tragedy making it a point to talk about gun control. >> once again innocent people were killed in part because someone who can'ted to up flick harm had no trouble getting his hand/a gun. >> reporter: nicki haley joined the church congregation in a prayer vigil. among the six women and three men killed was the church's pastor, the reverend clementa pinckney who was a state senator. he has family in our area. miles from south carolina but effects are being felt in our area tonight parishioners of mother bethel ame church will be arriving here shortly for a prayer vigil scheduled for 7:00 p.m. while that is going on a family member of the slain pastor is getting ready to travel from delaware county to south carolina to be with family. she spoke with "eyewitness news" earlier today. >> god just please don't let it be clementa. >> reporter: patricia hand swipes back tears after learning her cousin reverend clementa pinckney was killed at the emmanuel am e church shooting in charleston. she said her cousin died doing something that he lived for. >> he was in church, having prayer. >> reporter: patricia was born and raised in south carolina but living in chester for several years. she spent time baby-sitting pinckney when he was young. >> he loved to read. he wasn't type that always wanted to go out and play. >> reporter: looking at pictures of the martin luther king junior on her wall

patricia decided not to be angry at shooters targeting african americans. >> we're concerned that he gets the right help that he even asked for forgiveness to what he has done and acknowledge he did do wrong. >> reporter: in society hill, flowers lie on the doorsteps of the mother bethel ame church. philadelphia is where the african methodist episcopal church was founded. pastor mark kelly tyler knew pinckney well and had plans to meet up with him in a few weeks. >> he is just a incredible person. had tremendous upside, you know, great politician but also a very good pastor. >> reporter: they were working on a documentary about how am e church played a role in social justice in the deep south. he was in the film explaining how the church was torn down after slave uprisings in the 1800's. >> there was just an incredible story. this is such a great loss. >> reporter: pinckney leaves behind a wife, two daughters

shore then in philadelphia stone harbor 74 the high. philadelphia only 37. so here's our first forecast as we go through the evening at 7:00 p.m., a little bit of the breeze. 9:00 o'clock. temperatures in the 70's as well and then by 11:00 we will fall in the 60's. back here live we are looking at cloudy skies a couple decent days before the remnants of bill impact our weather unfortunately for fathers day. we will talk about that coming up with the seven day forecast. >> see you then thanks very much. rain kathy is talking about may ruin our outdoor plans but for farmers in new jersey it is a welcome sight. garden state was on the verge of the drought until recent rain. jana would receive a civil fine of hundred dollars which would be similar to a traffic ticket. decriminalization effort is supported by governor jack markell and more than 23rd of the delaware voters. police officer at jersey shore is being charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. kevin myers of seaside heights was arrested after police executed a search warrant on his home. they found numerous files on his computer related to child pornography. he was also immediately fired. man police believe is responsible for six burglar is in wayne, berwyn has been arrested. forty-seven year-old joseph calvin is the suspect. all these crimes happened in october and november of last year. he is currently in chester county prison awaiting trial in connection with the september 2014 burglary that happened in tredyffrin. there is much more ahead here tonight on "eyewitness news", a local toll plaza that is not exactly the same. we will tell you where tolls

drivers on one part of the pennsylvania turnpike will in longer see toll booths. >> don't get too excited you will still have to pay but all of the tooling at delaware river bridge will be electronic so e-z pass users will continue to do what they do but drivers without e-z pass will be sent bills in the mail based on their license plate which would be photographed. these changes should be in place by january. you know this is kind of nice

one, i'll turn my head. i didn't see that would either. we will do weather and come back and meet some kids on vacation. we cane we have a few showers moving our way, a few across the way, a lot of this not making it to the ground. baltimore and washington saw some heavy rain and bulk of it is south of washington. we are seeing light showers. here in philadelphia our temperature 73. allentown 68. down the the shore it is warm, even though we have some clouds. seventy-four in stone harbor. seventy-nine in rehoboth beach, delaware, much warmer then it is here in the city ape suburbs. we have to talk about tropical depression bill, because right now, we're about 15 miles an hour but it is moving north east and those steering wind will move it right in the ohio valley and toward us. you can see moisture associated with this it is incredible the by saturday early morning the moisture you can see the red and magenta colors that is very

weak spots. talented darren sproles say zach ertz will be a superstar and now i believe him. ertz caught 58 passes last season but says he can only play half of the snaps because tightened that can't block can't play. so zach work with the offensive line coach all off season and he reached out to hall of famer tony gonzales. >> gonzales is obviously the best tight event ever to play the game and that is where i want to be in 15 years from now. he was great to me. just to have the wherewithal to sit down and teach me some of the things that he knows about it game. it is unbelievable for me. >> former flyer kimmo timonen and chicago black hawks enjoyed the fruits of their stanley cup championship today, with the a parade. we vaguely remember that type of celebration around here kimmo's last memories of the nhl will be very pleasant, in retirement.
