one, two systems moving into our area here. moving things forward, storm scan3 at the moment, not terribly unsettled across the northwestern suburbs see what's left of showers moving through to the south and east. there was heavy rain did roll through, barely clipped delaware through the overnight. that's still taught sea left with lingering clouds, lingering showers. >> today isolated showers, not wash out after day, mable couple hundreds of an inch, at max, anything that fires up out here. granted a lot of us still trying to get back to reality back to normal routine after all of the storms on tuesday but you are going to catch at least a basically little bit after break out there today. temperatures in the meantime because of all of the clouds we are expecting will be held

bridge, all of the bridges moving exceptionally well. so speed censors in pa, new jersey delaware, high up in the 50's, how we like t unfortunatelily for new jersey transit rail line commuters still suspended as a result of few days ago that severe wet their we had. this could be potentially throughout the remainder of the day. so you will want to plan accordingly, regional rail lines running on time, patco speed lines no delays, so far so good at the airport. >> meanwhile utility crews are making headway in restores power to tens of thousands every customers in the dark since tuesday night's storm. here the latest out and, ac electric reporting under 55,000 customers without power. now, peco says, little more than 17,000 outages remain, about 1600 pse&g customers still off line and delmarva power reports about 272 still out. of course the clean up continues from tuesday's storm, "eyewitness news" found a downed tree blocking a street in northeast philadelphia, here. it is on the 1900 block of

bridge street in frankford. now, that tree has since been cut into pieces, and should be removed soon. >> of course, again still days of clean up ahead in delaware county, in chester neighbors helped each other out cleaning sidewalks and street. the count remains under state of emergency right now 24-hour shelter is now open in brookhaven. >> in gloucester county the seven star diner in washington township had to throw away $150,000 worth of food. it went bad because of the power outage. now, to make matters worse the power went out during dinner service, at the can't watch out the dishes. nearby trim right meets lost thousands in inventory and sales. >> five, 911 dispatchers in salem country recovering this morning, after being shocked by lightening. thousands of lightning strikes were reported at the height of the damaging storms. county officials believe at least one hit the 911 center in salem county. several dispatchers were shocked while on the phone fielding emergency calls.

score, honor roll student. they say a case so far appears to be one of mistaken identity. this video was also crucial in helping to find the five teen attackers, parents who saw the video, no surprise, they are discussed by what they saw. take a listen. >> i don't care if it is a mistake in identity or anything, you should not beat on anyone like. that will that's ridiculous. >> now all five of those students were expelled, again four are juveniles, one is 18 years old their charges range from robbery assault theft and more. as for that victim, eggs now recovering from the loss of several teeth, cut and bruises. we are live at northwest detective, justin finch cbs-3. >> justin, thank youment happening today president obama will deliver the eulogy for reverend clementa pinckney. he and eight other were shot to death at historic black church in charleston, south carolina last week. viewing was held last night for reverend pinkney at the

coming from. and storm scan, showing you again, retreat thankfully of the very first system. i guess you can say halfway there, still big system to get through. and then in the meantime you can see very heavy rain already errupting back across actually some of the same spots that got hit yesterday. if you recall there is very same time yesterday, maybe far removed by maybe 150th to 200 miles to the north we had some really heavy thunderstorm, and really heavy rain, that doused that part of the country here, iowa, into illinois with inches of rain left behind from that set up. so this is what essentially is headed our way. we will end one very heavy rain ourselves as a result. soap let's walk you through it today again really only talking about a scattered shower here and there from this first system. actually separate areas of low pressure, but you're basically talking one system retreating, the next one moving in tomorrow bringing with it afternoon and nighttime rain at its heaviest. but starting off very briefly with a little window of

opportunity to get in some outdoor plans. then sunday, i would absolutely call the drier of the two weekend days. start off with lingering showers, but this starts to lift out of here, so, granted you might not see a heck of a loft sunshine, but you will at least see things dry out. from to get outside going stir crazy, second half of sunday looking little better. we will brighten up nicely looks like by monday. that's good news. also, start to warm up as a result. so today yes not quite as hot. it is grant the mild. flirting with 80 degrees after all, but because of all of the clouds, because of this retreating system because of the cooler pattern that's trying to take over, we only flirt with 80. that's it. we got you into the mid 80s yesterday, a lot more seasonable. tonight, spotty showers sprinkle, nothing more, we drop to 64 degrees, and looking forward in the eyewitness weather seven day forecast, we can expect mid 70s, at best, and also, tomorrow, we again have the heaviest rain moving in, maybe some flooding issues because of it, but we will start to dry out as we approach of course the first day back to work. guys back to you. >> how about that?

construction runs westbound from about broad street through to the schuylkill expressway. this will be ongoing for quite some time, into the fall, so make sure that you're planning accordingly, taking vine st. local cut through fairmount cutting through no delays on the rest of the majors, 95, right around cottman, even throughout the construction zone great ride, and it is 95, not only throughout the northeast, but even as you move all the way into delaware county or maybe in the opposite direction headed toward new jersey, so it is all good right now. it is good in new jersey and good in delaware. mass transit checklist atlantic city rail line still suspended from the weather we had few days ago, you will need to plan accordingly for. that will septa regional rail lines running on time, patco running on time, in delays at the airport. are we looking lucky weather wise katy? >> no. no no, no, no, no. you know what? i would walk off the set if i could, too. specially any kind of plans to be outside tomorrow specially because, that's when we see our next disturbance move in.
