the top there fatal crash on 309 southbound that had closed between ridge hill and bethlehem pike has been cleared. folks using pa turnpike is an alternate but 309 has been reopened no delays for mass transit, ukee. breaking news right now out of the philippines at least 36 people are dead and 19 others missing after a ferry capsized this morning. the the the coastguard did rescue more than hundred passengers. the ship was only 600 feet from the cher when those strong waves tossed it around. we will follow the rescue effort there and any updates we will bring them right to you. search resumes for missing teenager who went swimming in the gloucester county quarry. he vanish while swimming on jackson road near piney hallow road in monroe township. we are told young people reported one teen dove in and then disappear. friend identified that missing teen as a senior at williamstown high school. neighbors say it is a

need for more funding to maintain the schools. the national weather service confirmed what many people in chester county suspect, a tornado did touchdown there on tuesday and we want to show you damage left behind in honey brook. tornado was as wide as a football field and lasted for one and a half miles. the 95-mile per hour wind damaged some local homes and barns. and it turns out it was not a tornado but a micro burst that caused damage in lehigh valley. storm toppled trees in white hall township and once again a tornado did not touchdown there but katie, were you saying this earlier, if you are at home and hearing those wind, it feels like it but they come back and assess the damage. >> i can understand why people were september what will when you say macro or micro burst no way that was a tornado. >> it feels like it. >> exactly. >> those wind are just as strong and can produce just as much damage but we need twisting of the metal on cars

right now it is still very quiet on the majors, and just how we like to start a morning commute, 5:15, as you will notice behind me is there only a few vehicles out there lets give you a better look traveling on the schuylkill expressway right around the area of spring garden you will note us traveling in either direction east or west it is fantastic and it is not only around center city, but every where, in and out of south philadelphia and western suburbs, maybe heading toward the king of prussia area. but it is looking great. moving to the vine street expressway we had earlier construction on the westbound side between broad street and the schuylkill, it has been pick up, which is great, we are free flowing in either direction between 95 and p-6 on the vine street expressway, center city coming through is fantastic. we will take to you new jersey where southbound on the new jersey turnpike at black horse pike is there an accident there that is now blocking the left-hand lane. so, if you are traveling in this area anticipate delays but generally speaking we're in the dealing with any volume problems. in delays for mass transit but patco has instituted a special schedule today.
