"eyewitness news" rorher cleve bryan joins us at the monroe township police station as teams search for the young man cleve? >> calm off the search last night, here at police headquarters because when we went out to the scene really

nothing you can see very remote area off jackson road, off the black horse pike, chopper three over the scene earlier this morning taking a look at what the search crews are trying to did i cover called jackson road, blue hole our understanding at 3:20, around that time yesterday afternoon, there was call about four swimmers, in the lake, this is an area in the state fish and wildlife management area, they were swimming in the lake, one of them did not make it back to the shore, a teenager in his late teens being identified as student at williamstown high school, member of the football team. we will hold his name back right now as authority continue to do their work, little more about this jackson road blue hole, understanding from people positive know the area very, deep lake, formed by either a former rock or sand quarry, in the woods, it is used for swimming, by people, also they'll take

their dirt bikes in the area, popular recreation area, not sure at this time whether it is legal for people to be there, at what times or what types of activities, still trying to find more of that information. so again the search continues today. and this type of rock quarry, just for little bit of backgrounds, these can be extremely deep ones they fill in with water. i know when i took my scuba certification, down to 60 feet in the rock quarry, could take a while for them to get equipment, state police are helping, the monroe township police department, as they search for this missing swimmer. live in monroe township, cleve bryan, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> interesting, cleve, thank you for. that will wait to go learn more about an overnight shooting in camden, that reportedly injured a woman. the victim, may have been caught in the crossfire while driving. first responders reportedly noticed she was shot, after she crashed into a tree on the 200 block every south 27th street. the victim was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. >> well, no injuries in this

balcony collapse at west philadelphia apartment building. the third floor balcony came down hard before 4:00 this morning, on the 6200 block every chestnut. the cause of that collapse has yet to be determined. investigators want to know if alcohol played a role in this deadly crash along route 309 in west rock hill, bucks county, car traveling south on 309 went off the road, and slammed into a tree, before 11:00 last night. one person died at the scene. three other people were rushed to the hospital. southbound lanes of 309 were closed during the investigation, but the highway is all clear right now. well, a lockdown has been lifted at the navy yard in washington dc after report of shot fired. you may remember that site was the scene after mass shooting in 2013. correspondent craig boswell report today's massive response comes as the fbi warnings police didn't, all over, about possible terror threat over the holiday weekend. >> swarmed wash dc airport response of active shooter in

the building. >> we heard someone yelling get out of the building, stay away from the cafeteria get out of here. >> thorough search of of the building and grounds found no shooter no evidence, any shots were fired, pentagon source tells cbs news, this was based off someone who thought she heard a gunshot, and reported it. >> the person who made a call, heard what she thought may have been gunshots, and she made a call, which is what employees here are trained to do. >> shooter killed 12 people, injured 12 others in the same location. >> learned a lot the last couple of years exercise hard exercise this again see what went wrong what we can continue to improve upon. >> officials already on high alert after fbi issued bulletin warning terrorists may be targeting the fourth of july holiday. and isis has also called on it followers to carry out attacks during the holy day of ramidan. >> if you look at history looking at big events, they are looking at symbolic date.

looking at military, police, intelligence. >> officials say people should still enjoy the festivities but if you see something suspicious, report it. >> craig boswell cbs-3 "eyewitness news". other news this noon, more than 5,000 people were evacuated in the middle of the night, after a train caring chemicals derailed in tennessee. authorities say, three carson csx train somehow jumped the tracks last night in marryville. one of the cars caring toxic substance, used in making plastics caught fire, residents were told they had to get outright away. >> we were asleep, police came on the door, saying they would like to evacuate as quickly as possible, because there was a fire. >> we needed to get a mile away f what i hear, our home four blocks away. >> the federal railroad administration says it has investigators and hazmat inspectors on the scene.

mold and she called it the green stuff. >> you know what, did she really? did she put fruit in it? my mom put fruit. >> she d that was a thanksgiving tape. >> i how about that? like green -- >> making me hungry now. i'm always hungry. anyway, what are we dealing with out there? what with thomas to the holiday weekend, we have you covered here. the weekend will progressively get better and better. showing you what's out on storm scan3 we start things off there casino every busy. what's happening? okay so first and for most, tracking frontal boundary. that's the first issue stalled out no less, generally, off to the south but if you're down at some of the shore points, in some places like rehoboth, delaware, for example, you have been seeing some nasty thunderstorm rumbling through because of moisture moving along this front. so little tough to sort of pinpoint that front, but you see the moisture, how it is moving right along there. meanwhile, nice wide zoom. shows yes nothing terribly organized but certainly activity to speak of. and across the central planes, you have got showers some

heavier thunderstorms across kansas, for example this will eventually become the next system, that sort of get drawn into the flow, and it will try to mess with us, does it succeed, however, that's the question. walk through future weather shall we? still dealing with lingering rainfall, perhaps thunderstorms could come along with that we move forward in the forecast, start to clear things out, front sags further south tomorrow. i don't want to totally rule out shower off to the south of the city. but generally tomorrow looks like brighter day for everyone. then we look ahead to saturday. again, i am not totally sold on this either. heavy rain, perhaps across southern delaware, southern new jersey but i really think more than anything, fourth of july is going to feature more clouds granted, moth the brightest sunniest day we've ever seen, and just spotty shower or thunderstorm. and the rain chances dramatically drop off. once we hit the second half of the weekend here, so, that said we're also going to see the uv index begin to climb as a result, it is at eight today at best, then shooting up to nine both friday saturday, and just as high probably on

sunday. moving things forward for you here, want to take you outside beach patrol headquarters, one vehicle out on the shore line, still dealing with the heavy rain and some showers that are moving across the jersey shore points. so bit of spoiler for the folks trying to enjoy a beach day obviously but we are seeing at least some sun go north tore it, eight a degrees the expected hyatt best here today, drop it down to pair of six avenues tonight, still perhaps with sprinkle in the forecast around philly looking forward i think you'll see potentially some nature made fireworks out there, on saturday, but nothing widespread. and then we just brighten up sunday and monday, upper 80s, full sunshine for you, building heat, great pool weather, and i have been saying all day long, i think we need to schedule a pool party at mr. washington's place, because this is, i'm telling you, the best pool weather we've seen, last couple of days, so i know. >> let me do some crunches. >> you like to keep that pool to yourself. >> thank you katie appreciate t hey today is wawa hoagie day.

right now 5-ton hoagie being served up for freon the independence visitors center lawn. cbs-3 cameras at the national constitution center this morning, 150 wawa associates assembled 21,000 shorty hoagies, to make up giant sandwich. they used 10,000 pounds of ingredients. earlier some special guests stopped by to tell our kate bilo all about it. >> it is wawa hoagie day, a day to celebrate the official sandwich of the city of philadelphia and so much more. it is part of the wawa welcome america celebration. this year the day includes a little star power and honors the men and women of our military. joining me now to talk about wawa hoagie day chef robert eye vine, you know him from restaurant impossible, and the food network along with laurie breeze of wawa. thank you so much for being here and bringing all of this amazing food with you. so laurie, tell us little bit about this day. big day for way wawa and the sit. >> i so happy hoagie day first of all our 23rd annual hoagie day event, 150 wawa associates

started this morning 5:00 a.m., building a hog that i will be weighing 5 tons made with more than 10,000 pounds of ingredients. and they will serve it free at noon on independence mall for everyone but it really is more than just about the hoagie. it was honoring forest those who serve our country. >> what a great cause. and chef, that's part of the reason that you got involved in this cause. it is not just a food event. it is so much more than that. >> well, food is power. we talk about food as a way to communicate, love, and there is no better way wawa do it daily to show love to our men and women who wear the loft of the nation that we love them. so yes i travel 150 days a year with our military world-wide. wawa donates to uso, impart of the uso also. what a great way to give back. >> it is fantastic way to give back, fun twi honor our military, as well? >> it is. we design a lot of event around the hog that i show how much we care about our military, and our local

heroes as well. we will do things like hoagies for heroes contest to support the uso. and the charities of their choice. we will invite the public today to write letters that will include care packages to send to our troops who are deployed. so, we think it is a fun way to take a popular product, one that's important to the region, and connect it to these important community causes like uso. >> that's fabulous, so, there are free hoagies, of doors -- of course at the independence center hoagies for heroes. and we will build some hoagies, right? >> also the kick off to the beginning of supporting the uso. >> that's right. >> so like a kick off party right? and where better to do it than philadelphia, the city of brotherly love. >> right. and of course with fourth of july, right around the corner, huge day. >> great time to keep our military top of mind and all the support that the us military does for the families of our military. >> so in honor of that, we created the hoagie using all of these ingredients that are in your every day local hoagie. local hoagie. local wawa.

so now the associate that do this every day will look at me, look at the mess this guy is making. but i don't care because it is my family -- my sandwich, i can do it anyway i want. >> you created this? >> yes so we have some who had after cheese, some smoke turkey, if you don't like cheddar cheese, then tough. this is like chipotle, little spicy, because some sweetness on the turkey, little lettuce is shredded lettuce i love there is all over the floor. all these folks in the wawa's going to be looking at me like don't let him in, don't let him in. >> they love it. >> some tomatoes. >> doing great job. >> not bad right. >> salt, pepper, because we can't go without the salt. you let me do it, right? >> i'll let you do it. >> so chef prepared a thousand of these this morning and delivered them to veterans center pickles. >> absolutely. >> love pickles. >> i know, because we've already talked about this, right? >> my favorite wawa sub pickles --
