2015. good morning. thanks for joining us. i'm alison harmelin. we begin with a startling admission from comedian bill cosby. he once admitted he purchased drugs with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to have sex with and comes in just released court documents from a 2005 lawsuit and the lawsuit was settled out of court and so far no comments from cosby's lawyers. >> reporter: bill cosby testified under oath during a deposition in 2005 obtained drugs. when you got the quaaludes was it in your mind you were going to use the convey lauedsquaaludes you were going to use them to have sex with the women you were with is in the answer was yes.

andrea constand sued and it was settled out of court in 2006. several claim the comedian drugged them before they were assaulted. >> i don't remember leaving the club. i don't remember driving anywhere else. what i do remember next was waking up naked in a bed alone in a sparkly furnished apartment. >> i was in no condition to leave, to drive, to say anything. >> i still -- he was an older man and i had no business being up there in that position and he had no business doing that to me. >> reporter: cosby has repeatedly denied the allegations, which date back more than four decades.

an associated press reporter questioned cosby in december of 2014. >> reporter: i wanted to ask if you wanted to respond at all as to whether any of that was true. >> there is no response. >> reporter: cosby has never been criminally charged and the statute of limitations has run out on many of the cases. >> janice dickinson said he was drugged and raped by cosby and cosby accused her of lying. in a statement her attorney said it is time for mr. cosby to stop hiding behind his attorneys and publicists and publicly apologize to miss dickinson and the other women who accused him of sexual assault. an ice cave collapse in northwest washington state. they are a popular hiking destination but authorities warn hikers not to go inside. the caves are unstable because of unseasonably warm weather. four other hikers were injured in the collapse and one is in

critical condition. >> reporter: a recovery mission will resume later this morning at the big four ice caves 70 miles northeast of seattle. one person was killed when part of the melting cave collapsed. the victim's body is still inside. >> because conditions of the ice are so dangerous at this point teams from ever mountain rescue and several other volunteers are looking at the condition of the ice to see how safe it is. >> reporter: monday evening, rescue choppers rushed one woman and two men to a nearby on hospital in serious condition and their injuries from head lacerations to leg fractures. john scott was in the cave moments before the collapse and tried to help. >> they were definitely being talked to so they were responsive. >> reporter: the deadly cave collapse comes just one day after hikers sarah solomani captured video of the section of the ice kruvenlcrumbling. >> by looking at the cave you

can tell it's not a safe cave to get in. >> reporter: no one hurt in that incident but an 11th-year-old was killed here when the ice the size of a minivan fell on her. the forest rangers have warned hikers not to go inside. >> reporter: a disaster area this morning as a three-square mile area is burned by an out of control wildfire. eight homes destroyed and three others are at risk of burning. the state has not issued mandatory evacuation orders but about 300 people fled their homes. >> i noticed some smoke and immediately i was concerned there might be a fire and i told my family within 30 seconds, a neighbor burst through the front door and told us it's bad, get everything you with can. >> reporter: the fire started sunday in bayview located on idaho's largest lake. idaho' governor is asking for help from the federal

government. >> dangerous thunderstorms will target the plains and heavy rainfall could bring flash flooding stood. in missouri on monday firefighters stepped in to push cars stuck on flood streets. the flood swept through kansas city during rush hour. some people got 5 inches of rain in a short period of time. the system unleashed several possible tornadoes in the kansas city area. massive trees crashing into homes and causing damage to roofs and downed power lines left thousands of people in the dark. no injuries are record. today is the latest deadline in the iran nuclear talks but the white house admits another extension is certainly possible. the june 30th deadline came and went without negotiators coming to a final agreement how to curb iran's nuclear program. any deal including end of the u.n. arms embargo, a condition opposed by the united states. leaders of the 19 eurozone

the prosecutor met with the woman last week and said she still had a black eye from the punch. a security threat forced an americanairlines plane to make a emergency landing. charlotte police met the plane after it touched down. they swept the plane with bomb sniffing dogs. 178 passengers were evacuated and walked to awaiting buses. the airline did not describe the nature of the threat. a blown tire on a landing gear gave passengers on a southwest plane a scare monday night. flight 211 from phoenix to san francisco was forced to turn around. the pilot met the plane without incident and met by first spornts. 143 passengers and five crew members climbed down stairs onto the tarmac. no one was hurt. straight ahead, starbucks sticker shot and you'll have to pay more for your coffee as the coffee chain hikes up prices. oreo cookies get a new look to attract grown-ups. details in ""moneywatch.""
