but for us, it is definitely off to very, very muggy start. here dealing with some heat. dealing with humidity today. and because of the moisture content currently in the atmosphere some fog developing. start things off with a look here at "skycam 3", little hazy, you can at least still make out even the lowest level here, down toward the boardwalk, and even the tops of the casinos but that may change with time here. not just atlantic county but quite a few other locations may ends up with some areas of fog this morning. for now the storm scan3 pretty quiet, only got little hunt of moisture out there when we throw things into motion from the last three hour loop, there is still couple of little speckles that fire up here on the area radar most of which are confined to the north and west most suburbs but we are expect to go see another fresh round of showers, perhaps thunderstorm, in spotty variety here throughout the day. meantime, i would say the bigger story is it is hot and it is humid. we do expect to at least challenge 90 degrees today, if not actually hit it in the

notice police officers blocking the ramp here, this is all because of the ongoing construction project, so maneuvering, trying get to 76 or to center city, art museum area is good idea at least alternate right now. patco will affect a lot of people in a big way maybe making things a little bit more after late trip home, or late start to work. they are single tracking on patco, because of single tracking on southbound side because of northbound construction, make sure you're double tracking and planning more time. >> thank you new this morning, young boy recovering after he was shot in philadelphia's grays ferry neighborhood. >> "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us outside of children's hospital of philadelphia, where we're told that little boy is in stable condition. good morning justin. >> reporter: good morning, yes, at last check that six year old boy was being reported as being in stable condition this morning. we are told his family drove him here to chop upon realizing that he had been shot in his left foot. late last night let's take to you video of the scene in

grays ferry that's where police say one bullet was fired, at about 11:15 lags night on the 1800 block of south 30th street near moore street. now, police say, more than dozen people were outside at that time, a mix of kids and adults watching and some playing in a basketball game in a rear driveway behind some homes there. that is when they heard one shot fired. that six year old boy shot in his left foot. his loved ones, we are told, scramble grabbing him and bringing him here to chop. now, back out live, who is the shooter? why did this happen? that remains under investigation at this time. police now looking into the idea that perhaps this was a stray bullet, but also, from those on the scene looking into the reports of perhaps random car car that's not normally there that may have played a role in this shooting at this time. so all of this remains under investigation, that six year old boy though is recovering at this time at last check in stable condition s live from chop, justin finch cbs-3

"eyewitness news". >> justin, thank you. also, new this morning and also in grays ferry police are investigating a homicide. police tell us that two men were shot near 28th and oakford, one man rushed to the hospital where he died. the other man shot in both legs. no detail on his condition. investigators are now using surveillance video from local businesses to help in the search for the shooter. >> embarrassing revelation for bill cosby. >> in a 2005 deposition, he testified he secured quaaludes to give to women with whom he wanted to have sex. the newly unsealed documents also show cosby gave that sedative to at least one woman. cosby was testifying under oath in a lawsuit filed by a former temple university employee. he set philadelphia in 2006. philadelphia attorney, tom kline decline, not involved in the cosby case, but he has watched it unfold. >> the key issue now is whether those women new that they were being drugged, like

after cotton's group got into a fight with other teens. this was following the city's fourth of july celebration. the young mother leaves behind a two year old caughter. >> more charges in a kidnapping of woman on philadelphia's jewelers row. police say sal a shah heed recruited kyree gay seen here, and another to grab female employee of the store and force her into a van in april. they allegedly robbed the woman, and demanded security codes to the jewelry store which the woman did not know. she was eventually thrown from the van at a cemetery in darby. she suffered a concussion, and broken ribs. >> one person is dead and four others are injured when an ice cage collapses in washington state. the deadly collapse comes just one day after a tourist captured video of crumbling ice. >> to it the us forest service warned hikers back in may that the big four ice caves were in

you. that's a good improvement. all of the bridges are moving great this morning. also, an improvement traveling on the vine street expressway they've reopened the westbound side, between 76 and broad. however, it does seem to be eastbound, dealing with the closure point, but no delays for mass transit. katie, how are we looking weather wise? >> not terrible. definitely muggy outside. most of the delaware valley at least dry quote unquote, we don't have wet weather falling from the sky north. but when you walk out the door, it feels very, very steamy and we actual dry have little hint of moisture that in the form of some showers primarily it is off across the pocono region headed up toward i80, for example even that's very, very scattered in nature. i call this pretty decent beach day overall guys, it will be a hot one make no mistake, trying to beat the heat, shore good place to go. rip current list for one thing low, great. modest breeze out of the south. water temperature continues to claimant uv index nice and high. feels like good excuse, latter on the sun block of course, but head on out enjoy yourself. in philadelphia, we expect to hit about 90 degrees with some
