"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch at children's hospital of philadelphia, in university city. right now with that little boy social security treated. justin, good morning. >> reporter: that little boy is six years old recovering from gunshot wounds to his foot. >> this all began late last night in grays ferry . >> 1800 block near more street, that's where that six year old boy more than dozen others, were out playing basketball, having good time, some watching, some playing, a mix of kids and adults, as you

mention, the gunshot was fired, brought the good time to abrupt end. here's what police have to say so far. take a listen. >> we believe the six year old child as well as other young children, as well as other teenagers, that were super advised by some young adults, were in the rear driveway, playing basketball, just having fun behind the house in the summertime, when they heard from all witness accounts, one gunshot and next thing you know the six year old boy shot in the left foot. that's when his loved ones sprang into action. they got him in a car and drove him here to chop for treatment. at last check he's in stable condition, here, at this time. now, police cannot yet say if stray bullet is the cause but they do know that one shot was fired search on for who fired the bullet as well as the gun. live outside chop, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> justin, homicide under investigation in grays ferry.

police tell us two men shot near 28th and oakford around midnight. one man rushed to the hospital where he died. the other man shot in both legs no details on his condition. investigators are using surveillance video from local businesses in the area to help in the search for the shooter. >> newly-released testimony reveals he admits giving sped continues to -- sedatives to one of the woman accused of sexual assault. now other women may use it against him. jan carabeo joins you now in the cbs-3 sat center more on there is good morning. >> good morning these attorneys are seeing this new development as huge step forward. meantime women who they represent are speaking out as well this morning. >> in a lou suit newly obtained by associate dollars press, bill cosby admit in the 2005 that he got quaaludes intends to go give them to women he wanted to have sex with and he gave the sedative

to one woman. documents come from deposition in a sexual assault lawsuit filed by former temple university employee, andrea con sad. she consented to be identified. her attorney asked cost bee point blank, when you got the quaaludes, was it in your mind that you were going to use these quaaludes for young women you wanted to have sex with? cosby answered: yes. >> this is very damning testimony that was given back in 2005. >> philadelphia attorney tom kline clown, isn't involved in the cosby case, but has been following it closely. >> the key issue now is whether those women new that they were being drugged like he says that they did cosby accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct including allegation that is he may have drugged and raped them. some incidents date back to 40 years, this morning cosby accusers say they found relief in the newest developments. >> it is a game changer becomes time, and he really need -- we needed to hear this

from him. >> now cosby's attorneys fought to keep these records sealed saying, extremely embarrassing for their client, obviously, they lost that "eyewitness news" has reached out to the cosby camp for comment, so far no response this morning. bill cosby has never been charged with a crime however has been impacted in number of other ways, for example you may remember last year he stepped down as trustee on the board of trustees at temple. reporting live in the sat center this morning jan carabeo, "eyewitness news". >> jan, thank you. five years since the deadly duck boat accident on the delaware river. two young tourist frost hungry died when barge being pushed by a tugboat ran into stalled duck boat in the river. just this past may tour frist texas was struck and killed boy a duck boat. eyewitnesses say the 68 year old woman crossing the street in chinatown when the amphibious boat hit her. lawyers say they plan to make announcement about their investigation into that crash later today.

house members expected to vote to remove the confederate flag off state grounds. state senate voted 37 to three to remove the flag, they will meet again today for third and final vote. lawmakers had ignored the flag until last month's massacre of nine people at historic and predominantly black church in charleston. police say the shooter was inspired by racial hatred. >> we won't change history by removing the flag. >> it is not about the history. it is not about heritage. it is not about hate. it is about how to heal wounds. >> south carolina governor nicky haley has already said she will sign the legislation the flag could be down before the end of the week. >> right now, it is 6:00 it we want to check on your forecast katie already feeling hot out there. >> really does, you know, we already off to very mild start, when you take just no account one of our more remote suburbs. cut town, out in the farm country here.

it is 72 degrees already. you can see the sun trying to break through some of these clouds, clouds actually moving right before your very eyes, still sitting between systems at this point. but, we also have some moisture, a lot of it, to work with, soy, really, at any point of the day it, will feel either very muggy to you or well above what it actually reads on the they are mom term because of the building humidity. and it is building, in advance of the next cold front. this happens every summer, this is very classic july weather for us here. but here's the next frontal boundary on the move, maybe you immediately think okay, this is our next round of severe weather right? not necessarily. at the moment, there is no risk that has been issued for our region, and if we end up with maybe not too much sunshine tomorrow, in a would limit the kind of up lift, instability, required for any kind of major severe weather outbreak. we keep our fingers crossed. meantime today expect shower here there call it partly sunny otherwise hot one, nine the degrees, headed into tomorrow though that front does cross through still should flirt with 90, through

heavy, but we will get there in a second. talking first about traveling on 202. if you are traveling on 202 in the southbound direction approaching 252, we did have earlier accident, scene. it was compromise ago lane or two, it looks like it has now been pushed to the shoulder and cleared out quite some bit. if you are traveling in this area, you may notice just slight slow-down, folks trying to recover from the gaper delay. and residual traffic but all-in-all 202 not awful. if you are traveling on the schuylkill expressway, it definitely is awful. if you are traveling on 76, approaching the area of city avenue making your way out toward gladwynn, slow go. traveling into center sit he on the eastbound side then on the vine going to and from the schuylkill also slow go. in addition to 95 being delayed out of the northeast down through to the vine, and if you are traveling on the northbound side of the roosevelt boulevard at devereaux, one lane block due to accident. if you are traveling southbound, on the roosevelt boulevard, approaching the schuylkill, that's another delay point. no major delays for mass transit. but keep in mind patco single tracking. erika?

>> thank you vittoria. >> new this morning the search is on for gunman after a shooting leaves a little boy injured. police say the six year old was playing basketball with friends in grays ferry they heard gunshot. the bullet struck the boy's left foot. he was returned to the hospital where he is currently in stable condition. embarrassing revelation for bill cosby, in a 2005 deposition, the philadelphia based comedian testified that he secured quaaludes to give to women with whom he wanted to have sex. the newly unsealed documents also show that cosby gave the sedative to at least one woman. cosby was testifying under oath in a lawsuit filed by a former temple university employee. he settled that suit in 2006. philadelphia attorney, tom kline, is not involved in the cosby case, but he has watched it unfold. >> the key issue now is whether those women new they were being drugged like he says that they did. and who comes forward now that

they know that they potentially were the victim. so far no comment from cosby's attorneys. cosby has not been charged with any crimes. in most of the accusations the statute of limitations has run out. ukee? >> at least one person is dead and still remains inside a popular tourist attraction in washington state this morning. several tourists were also hurt, in a ate cave collapse. it happened just a day after hiker filmed section of the cave's tumbling down. correspondent brian web reports now. >> a recovery mission will resume later this morning, at the big four ice cave 70 miles northeast of seattle. one person was killed, when part of the melting cave collapsed. the victims body still inside. >> because conditions of the ice are so dangerous at this point, teams from every mountain rescue and other search and rescue volunteers are looking at the conditions of the ice to see how safe it is. >> monday evening rescue choppers rushed one woman and two men to nearby hospital in

serious condition. their injuries range from head lacerations to leg fractures. john scott was in the cave moments before the collapse, and tried to help. >> they were definitely being talked to, so they were responsive. >> the deadly cave collapse comes just one day after hiker sarah sole mondayi captured section of the ice crumbling. >> by just looking at the cave, you could tell that this is not a safe cave to get in. >> no one was hurt in that incident. but in 2010, 11 year old grace tam was killed here when a chunk of ice the size after mini-van fell on her. in recent months, the us forest service has warned hikers not to go inside. brian web, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". 6:36 right now. after greek citizens rejected calls from cuts in their pension systems increase in tax, most are wondering what's next for the impoverished nation. >> business analyst jill
