sexual relationships with their students are these five who the iteam told but earlier this year. each lost their license to teach, and will never step foot in the classroom again but what about the teachers who are never arrested, never lose their license and instead quietly resign, move on to the next district where parents there know nothing about that teacher's past. it is called passing the trash and it is illegal in pennsylvania but that doesn't mean that it doesn't happen. earlier this year, paula a second grade teacher in darby township pleaded guilty to sexually abusing nine students. according to the lawsuit filed by victim's parents and obtained by i team these occasions were not the first improper contact by by among complaints that he inappropriately groped or touched several female

sneak peak in your weekend when i join you inside with the seven day jessica. >> see new a bit. just into "eyewitness news" an arrest has been made in the shooting that injured several people in a crowded kensington street last month. police say bennet kendell was taken into custody today. officers say he supplied the shotgun used in the shooting in the 700 block of east hilton street that injured seven people. "eyewitness news" obtain this video of the shooting. police say the suspect shooter is still on the loose. $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction of that suspect. tonight, former eagles quarterback donovan mcnabb is facing new legal trouble following his latest dui arrest in arizona gilbert police department released his mug shot today and they say mcnabb was impaired by alcohol and rear ended another vehicle stopped at a red light. at alleged incident happened on june 28th no word on if anyone was injury. mcnabb was arrested for dui in 2013. the atlantic county,

prosecutors's office is investigating a deadly police shooting in atlantic city. investigators say officers shot ape killed a suspect this morning after he fatal liz stabbed a store clerk. "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan has more from the scene. >> just spotted it yesterday. >> reporter: it was his second day on the job for an employee stabbed to death tuesday morning inside cedar market on pennsylvania avenue in atlantic city. >> he just came back from egypt. he was living in new york. he work yesterday and today. he just came. >> reporter: store owner says that the 29 year-olde beginnings employee with dual citizenship was working at the coffee station when a man with the knife came inside and went berserk. >> according to my employees he just came in, and went crazy. >> reporter: sources tell "eyewitness news" as police responded to the scene the suspect, a local man in his mid 30's, tried to attack one or more of the officers with the knife. they say a veteran pulled his gun and shot the suspect. >> he is a customer that frequents the store.

there is no rush now, you know sometimes, i don't know, i just don't know. >> reporter: police involved shooting remains under investigation. is there surveillance at the store and atlantic city police wear body cameras so there should be several source toes help detectives piece together what happened. members of the local orthodox church gathered at the cedar market to mourn the employee with no family in the u.s. >> just all of these people, coming from, what city. so all of this looks like one family. >> reporter: owners of the cedar market say they will try to pay for expenses as former employee can be flown back to egypt and buried by his family. in atlantic city, i'm cleve bryan, for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a six year-old boy is recovering after being hit by a stray bullet last night in philadelphia's grays ferry neighborhood. police say a shot was fired from a car that had pulled into a rear driveway, in the 1800 block of south 31st street. and the child was hit in the foot while playing basketball, with the group of people.

so far no arrests have been made. a man was hit and killed by a septa bus in center city overnight. this happened shortly after one at 11th and walnut. police say bus driver was not aware he had hit anyone and he even continued to pick up and drop off passengers. a cabdriver who witnessed the accident, flagged down an officer who was then able to get about the to us pull over, police say it is not likely that the bus driver will face any charges. on the five-year anniversary of the dead liz duck boat crash on the delaware a lawsuit has been filed in another accident involving ride the ducks. last may a woman was hit and killed by a duck boat while crossing the street at 11th and arch, and liz carnegie was killed with her husband just steps away. lawyers say several blind spots prevented the duck boat driver from seeing carnegie as she was crossing. >> why didn't he see her? was he distracted and didn't look? or was it more likely she was in the blind spot caused by the design of the deadly duck boat. >> ride the ducks released a

a montgomery county woman will be honored at the white house tomorrow for her efforts to fight a devastating disease. stephanie stahl is here now with more. >> imagine getting a message from the white house it happened to a philadelphia patient who is becoming an advocate, she will be honored at the white house tomorrow among nine being awarded as champions of change for being on the front lines of finding new kind of treatments. it was on her phone emily crammer first learned the white house wanted to honor her for her work to find better treatments for cystic fibrosis cf. >> we have been really focused on accelerating research. >> reporter: emily, who is 30 and takes variety of medications has a rare, advanced stage of the progressive lung disease. >> the funny thing about cf is it is very possessive. i look really healthy on the outside and that mask the fact that i have advanced stage

disease and i'm about 35 percent lung function. >> reporter: from her home in bala cynwyd she started emily's entourage about raising money about cystic fibrosis. it has contributed more than 1.5 million-dollar for research on the rare mutation that is threatening her life. >> we're really trying to buy time, so that there is a future where i can benefit from. we're running out of time report report her time fighting cystic fibrosis will be recognized by the president's precision medicine initiative that is encouraging research on targeted treatments and honoring people like emily who will be among nine awarded as champions of change. >> my hope is that emily's entourage, and this precision medicine initiative will lead to a break through that gives me, you know, a future. >> reporter: now emily says research evolving from research precision medicine has potential to save her and tens of thousands of other patients. we have more information about her entourage and the white house honor on cbs philly to

the come and i will put that on my facebook and twitter feed. emily says she's excited about meeting the president tomorrow, at the white house. >> very exciting, and cheers to emily for doing something. that is just incredible. >> stephanie, thanks very much. a new law you in delaware makes it illegal to smoke e cigarettes inside restaurant and other indoor places. today governor markell signed a bill that bans people from using electronic smoking devices including pens and e cigarettes at all indoor public places in delaware. this bipartisan measure add to the state's clean indoor air act which prohibits regular smoking at indoor public places. >> the percentage of teenagers, are using these e cigarettes dramatically increasing. that is concerning. so, i think it is really important that we send a signal that this bill sends. >> the new law takes effect in 90 days. the american red cross is teaming up with the philadelphia fire department,

have funnel cake too sky scan three is looking dry and doesn't look like any showers will get to the shore points this evening. so that is great news for folks at the shore. storm scan three shows our next cold front. this will be moving in through the day tomorrow. it now looks like another push of thunderstorm will come through thursday and that may be stronger then this first round that come through tomorrow because cloud in the morning may limit intensity of these storms. in the meantime we have a couple showers popping up, mainly to our north. those are moving on out. still rain over mercer county and heading up toward new york city. rest of the evening looks quiet for us just warm, and steamy. speaking of steamy lets take a look at how warm it is out there, temperatures climbed up to 90 we are at 89, hot spot there, we are in the 90's in montgomery county. eighty-four in allentown. eighty-six in wilmington. dew point is 67 degrees. here is our comfort indeed. dew point measures how much moist another in the air when we have dew points in the 60's and 70's we will get in the steamy toward oppressive range

and it feels soupy outside. for the rest of tonight here's 9:00 p.m. not expecting anything to get in. tomorrow morning cloud increase here's 11:00 a.m. with a few spotty showers ahead of the main push of showers and storms that comes around three or 4:00 and clears out by 10:00 p.m. watch what happens on thursday, we will see sun warms up, gets steamy. thursday afternoon looks like a strong line of of storms that will come through between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. on thursday and it will linger. what i have changed is made friday not quite a full day of sunshine. the it starts out with clouds and showers and throughout the day those cloud will decrease and push off shore and then by friday afternoon we are looking at full sunshine. that is only tweak we have made, friday looks nice but these cloud may be slow to clear. we will call it becoming sunny on friday instead of straight sunshine. saturday does look like full sun with high pressure overhead, highs climbing to the upper 80's. overnight tonight partly cloudy, steam ate 76. for your wednesday some sun humid with that chance for
