us live in it. ria cafe, good afternoon. >> reporter: good afternoon well tria is well known fine wine cheese and beer bar. we're here at the location at 12th and spruce where police say early this morning, two men enter through open cellar door, as employee was taking out the trash. >> the robbery happened after 1:30 this morning as at least one employee was closing up, that's when police say two men entered the bar and pressed what appeared to be a gun against the workers heads demanding cash. >> i just heard about it right now. so shocked. eric lives across the street and sends tri a favorite hang out spot. something like this happening on his block rare. >> well, tree lined streets student like with jefferson right there, a lot of young people, so not social security you really expect. >> the two men got a which with several bags of cash, which we now know totaled at least $3,500. >> that's a lot of money to get away with, so hopefully

they catch the people that did it. >> reporter: to help police do just, that we do have some updated descriptions of the two suspects, one may have been wearing a dark hoodie with black bandana over his face, and may also have been wearing a red gray and black pair of gloves. now the second suspect had sideburns according to police, and was likely wearing a red and black wind breaker. a witness told police they saw the two men take off north on 12th street, anyone with any information should contact police reporting live in center city, al creeks an h off, "eyewitness news". >> thank you meanwhile police say man wearing female muslim clothing robbed citizens bank in philadelphia's somerton neighborhood last week. the suspect allegedly handed a demand note to teller and got a which with cash. he was last seen getting into a late model dark colored nissan murano or roguesuv. believe believe the suspect is responsible for other bank robberies in northeast philadelphia. no charges have been filed but police questioning driver in connection with a weekend

hit-and-run that claimed the life after teenager on a bicycle. the teenage boy was riding near second and erie in north philadelphia when he was hit yesterday afternoon. police are saying that the driver went to another lane of traffic to pass another vehicle and that's when they say the driver hit the bicyclist. >> no one was hurt during a early morning fire in chester delaware county. crews were called to the 300 block of broomall street just after 3:00 a.m. police say that the fire a periods to have started in a vacant property. then spread to an occupied home next-door. the cause remains under investigation. two people were rushed to the hospital after this crash this is on the atlantic silt expressway, happened just after 7:00 this morning on the westbound expressway to washington township gloucester county. crews from both gloucester and camden counties responded to the scene. and lanes were closed during the morning rush. all lanes though, are now open. >> well, this week starts off hot and humid and typical for july, soon our weather team

>> diplomats trying to reach final agreement on the iran nuclear talks are having tough time. a temporary deal is set to expire in midnight in vienna, which is 6:00 p.m. eastern time. sources are telling us that there are at least two dispute, including iranian demands at us arms embargo be lifted and language in the agreement stop describing iran's nuclear activities as illegal. >> wisconsin governor scott walker joins the already crowded field of republican presidential hopefuls by announcing his run for the white house on twitter. the governor wrote quote i'm in. i'm running for president because americans de is her after lead here will fight and win for them. walker also released a campaign video declaring his candidacy this morning. now, walker is the 15th candidate to enter the race. he joins hopefuls that include former florida governor, jeb bush, new jersey governor, chris christie, and

chapo. guzman broke out of maximum security prison in mexico city after the weekends through elaborate tunnel. this is the teched time that el chopo has escaped from custody. corson bent jank has the story from new jersey. >> elaborate get away led to this escape hatch not far from mexico's most secure prison, he caped through mile long tunnel complete with ventilation and lighting, that ended in this building. a pair of running shoes were left beside a bed. mexico's president called it a front to the mexican state, but confident they can recapture this criminal. so far aggressive manhunt has failed to turn up any trace of el chapo. despite highway check point stepped up border security, and the closure of international airport. >> there is no way that guzman could walk away from maximum security without assistance of

three days earlier when it caught fire friday afternoon they had to abandon ship. coast guard said smoke from the fire helped lead them right to the stranded sailor and his dog. they were taken to a hospital once back on shore and they were treated for smoke inhalation. with temperatures flirting with the 90s around here, this looks like pretty good way to spend your afternoon don't you think pat? >> i do indeed. >> these paddling pachyderms enjoying their new swimming poop at japanese safari park, 213-foot wong swimming pool give the else fans more exercise than usual. even eating more now than ever too to compensate for it because you know how hungry you are splash around the pool? >> he can actually right. >> they look so happy. love that video. >> all right well, picture pluto up close. >> we expect to see dramatic photos from outer space as soon as tomorrow. cbs correspondent meg oliver tells us, it is a mission nearly ten years in the making >> this picture of pluto

>> the bear perched itself in a tree on friday. now, bear with us. >> oh, boy. >> that happened after wildlife officials tranquilized that bear, and has everyone talking so little bear out when he falls. the animal fell out of the tree. it appears he was waiving on the way down the university says the bear was not hurt, they were able to catch him with the big pap right there and when he woke up he was released back to the mountains. >> always well that ends well. >> isn't that great? >> that image of the bear coming down and waiving. >> it is precious.

>> it is. >> but we know it's okay. >> exactly, very precious, there he is. >> favorite video of the day. >> superstar of the day. and what a spectacular weekends it was tail end of my vacation, i was at the shore, could not have been more spectacular. >> not even just at the shore if you were in the mountains, i was stuck here in the city area, but everywhere, just absolutely phenominal. >> little muggier today? >> that's the thing yes starting to see more of return to typical sumner essence we ends one more humidity than one thing ends up with some showers, some thunderstorms not leslie today locking ahead to the middle part of the week. what i like about this pattern it does appear as though we won't be stuck for one thing for days on end with nasty weather, but also the brunt of the wet weather issues out of the way during the week, so weekends aren't necessarily going to end up all that terrible here. let's take you outside, storm scan3, which at the moment is definitely firing up some pretty heavy moisture here across the virginia as into specifically just virginia, now over into maryland, where some very heavy rain continues to fall. lock at the bigger picture

here two, things i want to point out to you. for one thing moisture, warmth, lefting in will help trigger showers and storms tomorrow. we also had very nasty complex of thunderstorms, all the way over wisconsin minnesota yesterday. and through the early morning hours, now it is making a bee line right toward the ohio river valley. that's part of the larger picture here eventually we have cold front cross through lock at this guy showing some signs of development out here in the open waters of the atlantic. will not be any direct impact to the united states, however, it is the fist real activity we've seen in the tropics for quite a while. since bill was an issue weeks and weeks ago, back in late june. so at this point again no impact directly to the u.s. coastline. we have very warm cbsphilly.com surface temperatures courtesy of the gulfstream, into the 80s in a lot of the locations with the warm ocean water helping the system to basically just develop a little bit morement then on the flip side, as this just travels into cooler water it runs into not only just dry air but also the cooler water, and there is winds

shear will help tear the top off of this. not only expecting it to, a weaken with time, b it stays out to sea maybe causing some rougher surf up across the new england coastline into atlantic canada, worth mention since it is just the first activity we have seen in quite a while. meanwhile warm steamy back here on dry land, we aren't necessarily going to stay dry for very long, come tomorrow, even as early as tonight quick shower could roll through. but tomorrow a day forum brill a we will be dealing with scattered showers, thunder but could be locally drenching, come wednesday the cold front will actually cross through. again, shower, thunderstorm, throughout the course of the day, might come through once, twice, and then we're going to see the atmosphere clean itself out. we ends up with sunshine. area temperatures at the moment, into the mid 80s across most of the board low eight's, as well. great beach day. looking good if you want to hit the shore points here today. un sunshine, it is nice, warm, and i just want to get you right to your seven day here. how many the rest of the week unfolds, shall we? mid 80 alleges expectation
