more not just sunshine but also the comfortable warmth, as well as that low humidity. that's what i think is so critical that sort of is the lynch pin for why these days have felt so, so nice to us. because, let's face it, when it is humid sunny warm, note the most comfortable out there, right? but beautiful afternoon unfolding, full sunshine, blue sky out here, let's start things off with a quick view of storm scan3 remains empty as you might imagine courtesy of high pressure, so once again in control in our area. the region wide temperatures at the moment generally flirting with 80. actually there in wildwood right now currently at 79 degrees, at philadelphia international airport. as well as millville, a.c. airport, and trenton, sort of the magic number basically the further southeast you travel here. but that said, the beautiful weather is set to continue, and this is beautiful beach afternoon, too by the way. off shore breeze, but not terribly windy, at the shore so just fantastic weather. and, we are basically flirting with typical territory in terms of temperatures, that's the thing still warm, still

feels like summer, and you can wear shorts and t-shirt, but you will be comfortable, the big difference, normal high is 87, the records back in 2011 when we were in a string of heatwave of days, was 101 degrees, so it absolutely could be so much worse. meantime, as we mention, this is a stretch of days that's going to continue for us, even as we head into the upcoming weekends. but steamy necessary thunderstorms, eventually going to be returning, and i'm going to have time line for that coming up in my larger weather hit the longer hit that includes the seven day forecast, so i want to stick around for that, it will be coming up later in the show. guys, back to you for now. >> i495 south new new castle county delaware now reopened after deadly two vehicle crash earlier this morning chopper three over the scene near route 13. one person was killed, four others were transported to christianna hospital. so far there is no update on their conditions or a cause that far accident. firefighters are still working to put out hot spots

from yesterday's massive warehouse fire in north brunswick. crews encounter heard flare ups overnight filled with plastics cars, household goods, and those only just fueled the fire. when firefighter suffered hands injury. officials say they can't pinpoint what caused that fire, until the fire is out. now, check this out, this is scene, that looks this morning, hundreds of evacuated residents still waiting to go home. >> new video just into us, police are looking for suspect who robbed a dunkin' donuts in south philadelphia wearing a clear plastic bag over his head. police are saying the suspect cased the third and oregon store before making his move. he allegedly pulled a knife on the clerk, and then got a which with money from a cash box. no one was injured here, if you recognize the man we ask to you call the police. two out of state men now behind bars in delaware county, for sexual contact with minors. district attorney, jack wayland, announced arrest of ralph fisher of maryland, and

george smith of ohio. way land says smith convinced 13 year old girl to send him nude pictures via social media and skype. also arranged fisher arranged for meeting with 15 year old boy he met on line. that will 15 year old boy was actually undercover ridley township police officer. >> in oklahoma two teenage remembers in custody in connection with brutal murder of five family members. police arrived at the home around 11:30 last night and found all five victims stabbed to death. one child was found still alive and taken to the hospital. she is in serious condition. another child was found unharmed, and taken into state custody. the two teenage suspect who are said to be immediate family members ran out the back door when police arrived. but they were taken into custody a short time later. >> there is some new questions about the mental state after woman found dead in her texas jail cell. yesterday officials released sandra bland's booking forms showing that she felt depressed and once attempted

suicide. >> da also revealed the tox july gentlemen report showed substantial amount of marijuana in her system. the latest for from hemp stead, texas. >> i have the right -- >> you are under arrest. >> the newly-released documents shed light on what happened to sandra bland from her arrest july 10th to her mysterious death in jail just three days later. after she was taken into custody, a deputy at the waller county jail asked her questions about her medical history. bland disclosed she once tried to kill herself with pills following a miscarriage. she also reported feeling depressed, but denied having suicide at thought. about three hours later, bland was given a suicide assessment by a jail err this time, bland said she was not feeling suicidal, and no longer felt depressed. once again she reported the previous suicide attempt. but when the jail err filled out the report, she wrote that bland had never attempted

suicide. in a voice mail bland left for a friend, obtained by houston station ktrk, bland seemed frustrated to be behind bars. >> they got me here with $5,000 bond. i'm still at a lost for words honestly about this whole process, how switching lanes with no signal turned into all of this i don't even know. >> her friends told the local station it is her voice cbs news has not been able to independently verify. >> this bland's family attorney cannon lambert, says relatives have no evidence bland was ever suicidal. >> we know for a certainty that when she went in to that jail she was extactic, left messages with her loved ones, and that just does not jive with someone who would take her own life. >> blands' family flew back to illinois with her body wednesday, and tried to keep the focus on the actions of the arresting officer. >> i will write you up. get out. >> she was pulled over for something so insignificant

and because of an officer who felt like maybe his ego was bruised, but when you tell me that you are going to light me up, i feel extremely threatened and concerned. >> bland's family says they're waiting for the investigation to be completed but they are considering a wrongful death lawsuit. omar villafranca, cbs news, hemp stead texas. >> a fast-moving wild fire in nap a county, walt california has burned more than six of thousand acres, forced residents and cam pearls in the area to evacuate. the fires burning near northern california's lake. officials say that it is only 5% contained, and threatening some 200 homes at this hour. it started after a car accident caused a small fire to spread to dry brush along the highway. >> international space station has new faces aboard this afternoon, the space capsule caring a russian and american and a japanese docked smoothly with the international space station overnight. the arrival of this latest crew bridges the space station back to a full six-member

>> one day after new york moves to more than double the minimum wage for fast-food workers, workers in philadelphia are calling on legislators to do the same. >> we have live look for you from the rally outside of mcdonald's on broad and carpenter in south philadelphia. organizers say they want philadelphia to follow new york's lead by increasing minimum wage to $15 per hour. voted unanimously on the increase there yesterday. one local neighborhood fired up and furious that their maple carrier, accused of not delivering, not delivering more than 22,000 pieces of mail. investigators are saying, that they found them in patrick d'ambrosio's car and garage, in his northeast philadelphia home. prosecute remembers saying, d'ambrosio failed to deliver everything, from letters to treasury checks between may 2014 and january of this year. the arrest is causing a big

pattern. meanwhile, we did have frontal boundary, part of the reason not only had thunderstorms in recent days, but also the heat and the humidity, that has since been suppressed off to the south. you can see that front sort of draped across with additional pockets of showers and storms, but we will keep this high in place, to equate to i love this headline stellar stretch of weather because it is suppressing not just the heat but also the humidity, well to our south. so we're talking seasonable temperatures, for the next few days, but we lose that humidity that's so key when it comes to how it feels and how comfortable you are when you walk outside. looking at just the actual air temperatures around some of the southern cities, st. louis, hotter than everybody is charleston, dallas, into the 90s right now and they have to deal with the humiditiment looking at the temperature outlook looking ahead toward the end of july looks like we steam it up more across the mississippi valley, here at home does look as though we will be ever so slightly above average. it will show up in the eyewitness weather seven day for you but talking dew

point, in other words, humidity level so crucial what you want to be talking about when looking at the humidity levels and how it pertains, the lower the dew point, the drier the air is, when you have light wind like we do right now another great hair day. 52 degrees for dew point, 65 is about the point where it feels uncomfortable, or steamy, to us, so, this, i know erika's favorite graphic, awesome outside right now, between base lit the low and mid 50's on the dew point what we like to call the comfort index. that will will change, however, as we jump forward in this forecast, notice, the line starts to creep up on us, sunday, and leading into monday. and that's because we will be tracking new cold front. and even though it is not really going to live up to its name, not going to cool us down for say it is going to bring back the steamy necessary, and it is going to bring back the next shot for shower or thunderstorm. soap, as early as sunday, we are still in the upper 80s where we should be, but that will be the next shot for shower or storm nothing terribly widespread, it is not enough that you even have to cancel our outdoor plans but will be a noticeable change,
