her mothers arms. police say it all happened just before 12:30 sunday morning, when a man stabbed a 37 year-old mother as she held her one year-old baby in her arms. police arrived on the scene in the 1900 block of dallas street, to find a mother with multiple slash wound and a baby girl single stab wound to the chest both mother and daughter were rushed to einstein hospital where the mother remains in critical condition. one year-old girl was transported to st. christopher's hospital for children where she also remains critical. police are on the look out foreman who committed the stabbing in word on whether he is the father of the child. >> reporter: again both baby and mother remain in critical condition this morning following that domestic dispute. police have not released the name of the suspect or his relationship to that mother and child and their investigation continues and let me tell you the rest of the community of course is praying for a swift recovery,

yellow stone national park authority are searching for a 21 year old man from china who disappeared while swimming in yellow stone river last week. isaac is seasonal park employee, authorities say he was backpacking with a group of friend last thursday, when he was apparently swept down river by a strong current. rangers have scoured the the a area by helicopter, dog teams, and horse back, as well as on foot. fire fighters are battling a massive wild fire in northern california, the lowell fire is responsible for burning thousands of acres and 200 homes are threatened. it is all happening 45 minutes north of sacramento. norma abrams from our sister station from sacramento has more from that battle in fire. >> reporter: thick white smoke billows, an intense fire continues in this steep terrain. the the fuel, trees and brush burning rapidly in an area so remote fire fighting planes

delaware beach. dew point temperature very low yesterday and in the lower 50's. it was so dry comfortable. we are up to 64. that feels on the steamy side. this is on the rise over next few days, we will approach that oppressive feel, coming in on tuesday, wednesday and even into thursday. storm scan three looks nice and quiet. fair weather clouds passing by through the morning and in the afternoon. outdoor plans look okay today. the exception poconos later this afternoon maybe lehigh valley just a stray shower or thunderstorm. reason is there a weak front approaching us later today but hot, humid temperature around 90 degrees. that front weakens during the the day on monday and that is when we will see best chance for scattered shower or storm. keyword there scattered. temperatures back in the 80's on monday afternoon but once that front leaves we are back to full sunshine on tuesday it keeps our forecast quiet with lots of sun lower 90's for the the highs with increased humidity levels.

bridge westbound heading in to philadelphia we have two right lane closed due to construction. so far not impacting traffic. taking this up to the 42 freeway, there is an accident on the 42 freeway north bound between 130 and walt whitman bridge. we wish our walt whitman cameras was working but instead we have our ben franklin. we have an accident on the atlantic city expressway right at $3 tolls. right lane blocked there and there are delays. garden state parkway still looks okay at the this point and moving the traffic cam within more time to the blue route at mid county tolls, if you are taking pennsylvania turnpike or northeast extension to the cool poconos today in delays or problems on those roadways and the the blue route is in fine shape as well that is latest from the cbs-3 traffic center, i'm ann evans new back to you. >> thanks for the update. local tourist area is making it easier for visitors to pay for parking. leave quarters at home. the bureau of new hope is now offering an app that will feed meters for you. i love the sound of this.
