just mentioned putting face on the accusations against entertainer bill cosby. >> women are pictured on the front of the new york magazine, and inside the women are telling their stories. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo shows us the women publicly accusing cosby of sexual assault. >> the faces of assault their stories, spanning decades. these are 35 out of the 46 women who say bill cosby sexually assaulted them. it is the latest cover story by new york magazine, one that quickly crashed the magazine's website overnight. the feature is entitled cosby the women and unwelcome sisterhood, one by one they tell their stories, new york magazine posting to it twitter, beverly johnson says account, quote the part of it i wasn't prepared for was the onslaught of women that have been assaulted anthem telling me their story because i told mine. then there is barbara bowman's experience who said she was assaulted by cosby over the course of years, she says, i felt like a prisoner, i fit like i was kidnapped and

city, not in a attempt to silence cosby's accusers. septa expected to announced to when the regional trans passions for the papal visit will become available. on line sales were temporarily suspended last monday after the mad rush for tickets crashed the website allowing sale to only 28 customers. when sales resume, the passes which are time specific will cost $10 apiece, only good for september 26th or 27th. septa will be making 175,000 passes available for each day and will give 24 hours notice of the on line sales beginning. >> a common chemical compound leaked from a csx train in philadelphia the rail junction near moore street grays ferry. officials say tanker caring hydrogen peroxide began to leak around 9:30. the spill did not require a hazmat response or any evacuations, we are told though one person was taken to the hospital from that scene but it is unclear right now if

their injury was related to that leak. >> well, what a morning that we had rain thunderstorm, all of that, again this afternoon. >> the question is will it break the heat? let's get our first look at the forecast, here's meteorologist, katie fehlinger. >> unfortunately doesn't like that way guys, this is actually cold front won't do anything to cool us down, at all. actually rather, it is going to be total opposite situation, where we start to heat up, see humidity even building in the next couple of days to the point that we are forecasting next heatwave. looking forward this this forecast, so if you have already stepped outside and you already are thinking that it is hot steamy, i may not be coming bearing the best news for you. but let me start off by going outside. storm scan, three-hour loop to kick it off. what you notice right on the beginning of the loop here is that you have got little hint little glimmer of some speckles of green that fired upright south of wilmington. see that south of i-95. this is sort every sign of things to come. we are going to see some additional showers and storms fire up today. now, here's a 12-hour loop, goes all the way back to when

the storms rumble in through the overnight. look at them, heavy rain, frequent lightning, now long gone, that was the brunt whatever this front had it it sleeve shower or storm around, let's talk heatwave. we would be looking ahead to possibly the third heatwave of the year. we've already had two that occurred in three day stretches here, so they just barely met the window to actually qualify as heatwaves. but we've had two so far currently it, feels like the low 80s here in philadelphia. technically still upper 70s. pretty seasonable, and i think these icons mike mate it little worse than it is actually going to be expect some sun and a scattered shower or thunderstorm, before it is all said and done later on today. guys, we send it back to you. >> all right katie thank you. mother and her young daughter are in critical condition after a knife attack sunday in west oaklane. forty-one year old steven burton was apprehended late last night in maryland. neighbors say they heard burton arguing with his wife on the 1900 block of dallas

street last night. one neighbor says she saw burton leave the home, then discover the victims inside. >> she was screaming to the point that i'm shocked that i'm the only one that heard her. i'm just -- that's how loud she was screaming. and when i -- when she opened the door, i can tell why she was screaming because she was cut in her chest. >> police say the couple's four year olson was also in the house but not injured. plans are now being made to bring steven burton back to philadelphia to face charges. a philadelphia police are searching for alberto vangas, registered owner of the car they say was involved in a deadly hit-and-run. police are saying that car plowed into another car caring two occupants at i and luzern streets late last night. the passenger was killed. the driver is in critical condition. police are saying that they recovered the striking vehicle about 2 miles away in north philadelphia. resident remain out of their homes this noon, after fire tears through a

pennsauken apartment building. that fire broke out just before midnight on the third floor of the cooper river plaza ants. resident tell "eyewitness news", that fire alarms had been going off in the building recently so they all thought this was another false alarm. >> and by the time we got to the stairs, smoke was everywhere in the stairwell, we got down the second floor, probably the heaviest. so i mean, at least got out of here safe. >> firefighter was injured right now, there is no word on that firefighter's condition. search crews have located six, tubers, reported missing on the delaware river in bucks county. all six were found safe and sound late last night rescue crews spent several hours searching the delaware river between riegelsville and washington crossing for that missing group. police have not released any details about how they disappeared. >> and the coast guard continuing its search for perry cohen and austin stefanos, 14 years every age in south florida they were buying gas for their boat and

headed in the direction of the bahamas in order to fish. that boat was found capsized off the south florida coast. the teenagers' family are now offering $100,000 reward in the search for them. president obama continues a history making trip to africa. today he's calling on african leaders to initiate peace talks over violence in sound suddan. the president is in ethiopia, second trip on his stop. neighbors south suddan has been engaged in a faction al fighting since 2013, and international monitors fear that the country could collapse into civil war. president obama's first stop was in kenya the homeland of his father. well the boy scouts of america is expected to ratify resolution today lifting long standing ban on openly gay troop leaders. the move comes nearly two weeks after the group's executive committee vote today lift that ban. the decision also bans discrimination based on sexual orientation, in all of its paying jobs across the

riverbends manor, 21 year old in the bathtub face down. >> place in the medically induced coma. the circumstances were early similar to her mother's death in 2012. whitney houston was also found unresponsive in the bathtub of her los angeles hotel room on the eve of the grammy awards. heart disease and cocaine were listed as contributing factors. bobbi kristina spoke at the 2012 billboard music awards. >> i want to say thank you to everyone who supported us through it all. >> bobbi kristina grew up in the spotlight while both her parents struggled with drug addiction, appeared in reality shows, including the houston's on her own. bobbi kristina is whitney houston's only hei. , her death expected to spark a legal battle between bobby brown and nick gordon. gordon was an orphan, who grew up in the houston household and bobbi kristina said he was her husband. but bobby brown says the two were not legally married.

danielle nottingham, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". well louisianna families and investigators want to know why gunman john howser opened fire in a lafayette movie theater last week, today new surveillance video was being released as the first funerals are being held for those killed. david begno has the latest. >> reporter: surveillance video seems to show nothing out of the ordinary. in one clip, john howser chats with the front desk clerk, in another, walks toward his lincoln town car. on the day of the shooting 4:41 p.m., he drives off to the movie theater just fours miles away at 6:41, the hotel owns the motel six. he says house here checked in july 3rd was never rude, or threatening. >> what did you think when you realized the man who had carried out that movie theater shooting lives here? >> he was kind of terrifying. it was something that i wasn't expecting. >> howser's room, 129 is a mess. bottles of alcohol clothes

from across the state. so some storms may be moving n more? >> more, but not quite what we had early this morning. >> oh, it was coming down. >> yep, we were on the air when they were coming through. >> perhaps pat you got woken up? >> who didn't. they were so loud, they had such heavy lane, frequent lightning, thunder as well. yes, that at least is the brunt of it. that's now moving out thankfully. not out of the woods just yet. that's the thing. so still tracking a frontal boundary, it is a fizzling frontal boundary. not really going produce too much more in the way whatever we saw early this morning but, we still have a lot of moisture to work w so i can see maybe spotty, locally heavy shower, thunderstorm, firing up at some point today. now we start things off by going on outside. we show you just cloudy view, one every our archive i like call it neighborhood network shot. this is actually out in burnville, where no one is out in the baseball diamond, but did i want to show you gray skies currently overhead here, indicate that some are you seeing the gray skies, some of are you actually seeing some

breaks of sunlight, but it is not necessarily going to last forever. switching gears though, let's talk about what's coming down the road here. so, in the g on storm scan3 at the moment, we've got some heavy rain just off the gulf coast here we had talked last week about tropical threat t does not look like that's going to actually take shape thank goodness, but that said, we've got different issue when it comes to the heat and the building humidity for our area. heavy thunderstorms picking up north of a ridge of high pressure that's building. that's what is leading to so much heat that's currently leading to numerous heat advisories, and excessive heat warnings down across the deep south here. so that's where those alerts are confined for now heat will migrate towards us dallas, new orleans, all right now into the low 90s and eventually, with time, that's going to be the story here. as this ridge migrates east we heat up significantly. we will not only hit the 90s when it comes to the thermometer, but end one heat

looks like two days, at least at least flirt with or surpass the century mark. so plan for it now guys, if you don't have your fan in working order, you don't have your air conditioner hook up to the window, whenever you need it do, next couple every days will get steamy. we talk future weather jump you forward to 2:00 p.m. today. this is how we think it will sort of look on the radar. scattered, not widespread wash out like we had roll through this morning. but, the scattered pockets every locally very heavy rain, are likely to fire up here. even in toward the early evening, that will be the concern, even tomorrow, there is some indication on couple of computer models we might even have lingering shower, not huge deal, today was definitely the wettest of the next few. i wouldn't call this is the prettiest beach day but steamy outside. temperatures top off in the 80s, uv index eight moderate rip countries being always we say it all the time swim near the lifeguards specially when you have that kind of risk going on. here we go. tuesday, wednesday and thursday, back into the low
