6:15 pm
i still think we can enjoy tomorrow and we'll talk about just a few chances for some showers maybe even a thunderstorm. looking back at july, the calendar days here in orange indicate the days that were above average and the blue is below average so we did start off the month on the cool side if you can remember right around the fourth of july but we finished strong with warm temperatures by the end but overall we only averaged 1.1 degrees above average for july. you would think it would be warmer than that with all the heat we've been dealing with. maybe that's kind of an impressive stat. heat wave kicked off last tuesday where we had 93 degrees. we hit 90 again today. that's day number five. avenue of average high is 87. stormstorm scan3 little disturbance in the upper atmosphere bringing a few clouds or a shower or two especially through the poconos through the evening hours. everybody else stays dry. maybe you're hit iting the phillies game, we are looking good. again no problems in south jersey along the shore points. good flight to hit the boardwalk. current temperatures still warm. mid and upper 80's, dover

6:17 pm
shower or storm chances really low up in the poconos. tomorrow morning waking up with sunshine. that will be the trend through the day. mostly sunny conditions. into monday we go. again, late in the day i think that's our best shot to see a shower or a thunderstorm. temperature-wise tomorrow, again, upper 80's, close to 90 degrees for the warm spots at the shore a little bit cooler there, mid 80's with a breeze developing off the water. then we're well into the 90's monday afternoon, low 90's for the inland locations. the forecast tonight still comfortable 70 for center city, 60's in the suburbs. mostly clear skies. a hot day on sunday but not humid, mostly sunny. 90 degrees for the afternoon temperature. your shore forecast have that sunblock around, lot of sunshine water temperature back up to 71. it was in the 60's. 84 for the air temperature. southwest wind does kick up at about 10 miles per hour. extended forecast 90 tomorrow, 93 monday. storm late monday night and then tuesday still 90 degrees so that will make it an eight day heat wave. then we break that heater. thursday clouds, showers
