t what we can expect in september, pat? >> reporter: well, during this papal weekend what i have come to learn is that walking, may be the most effective way to get around center city philadelphia, that is, unless you are the pope himself. traffic restrictions will be, highly extensive. also the perimeter is now official the mayor gave wide ranging details at a news conference this afternoon. lets take a listen. >> in the 20 plus years of the world meeting of families, philadelphia could set itself apart as the largest, in the history of the world meeting of families. >> reporter: the scope and scale of this papal event is forcing extensive traffic restrictions for residents and visitors and road closures like philadelphia has never seen before. all at the same time. this map is the framework of the traffic box from 6:00 p.m. friday of papal weekend until at least monday morning, most vehicles, driven inside of the box can stay there, but if you exit, after

the restriction goes into effect, you can come back in by foot but you cannot bring your car with you. >> the northern boundary spring garden to ridge, ridge to girard, and girard to the schuylkill river. the southern boundary, south street river to river. the eastbound dry, delaware avenue from south street, to spring garden street. the western boundary runs along the edge of the schuylkill river cuts up kelly drive stopping just below girard avenue bridge. >> reporter: pope francis is in philadelphia, not as a head of the state but as a pastor, wanting to meet the expected million and a half people, who will make their way here primarily on thousands of registered buses. leaders emphasized each bus must be registered. added to philadelphia police will be pennsylvania state police. >> the state police will provide a little over a thousand state troopers, to primarily assist, with both

crowd management in center city and traffic control in the surrounding highways. >> reporter: i-95 will be opened but portions of the schuylkill expressway, the vine street expressway and city line avenue in the area of the seminary where pope francis is expected to stay will be closed to traffic. as for the benjamin franklin bridge. >> i'm here to announce the closure of the ben franklin bridge from friday evening at 10:00 p.m. until about 12:00 noonan monday. >> reporter: now to make that clear, it is closed to vehicular traffic. during that period of time, but individuals will be able to walk across ben franklin bridge, and that we would expect to be quite the sight. as far as regional rail lottery goes, by tomorrow at some point you should have applied for a regional rail lottery for that weekend you should learn from e-mail whether you have gotten it or not. you will to have go back on line to make sure you purchase it. the mayor has called this

county. small bus rear ended the larger bus and driver of the big bus was taken to the hospital, crews had to work to free the driver from the wreckage of that smaller bus no children by the way were on the the buses. new developments in the search for missing delaware county boy a body has been pulled from the darby creek not far from where 11 year-old laquan lattimore disappeared. "eyewitness news" reporter david spunt joins us from folcroft with more details david? >> reporter: ukee, officials found this body about 200-yard behind me. they are not saying if it is laquan lattimore's body and they have not positively ided it at this point. it a has been a brutal two days for his family. he is a typical 11 year-old kid enjoying his summer. he left on his bike. they cannot fine him. what happened to laquan lattimore? family members says he disappeared monday on his bike and never came home. >> normally if he is not in, at dark he would be right there on the block. he was in where to be found. >> reporter: this is laquan's cousin and legal guardian.

>> we are hurting. we are just in so much pain looking for laquan. >> reporter: wednesday afternoon authorities found a body near darby creek family, friend even strangers nervously waiting for authorities to confirm the identity of the body. the fbi held a news conference wednesday, and mentioned laquan left behind his cell phone. >> that is a little unusual probably for any teenager or preteen to be without their phone in this day and age. it is unusual he didn't take his phone with him but we don't necessity why. >> reporter: and with friend and family out here just about an hour or so ago mentioned the fact that laquan did not take his cell even if with him. the most 11 year-old that have have a cell phone would take it. they say it is sun likely for him to do something like this. officials not confirming anything about the identification of that body. we will continue to stay out here tonight in delaware county and bring you latest coming up at 11:00. reporting live from delaware county, david spun t for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". more at cbs philly.com. turning to the weather now

gorgeous day more than a week in the making, we will finally getty break from the oppressive heat wave and getting some gorgeous weather. meteorologist kate bilo on the sky deck to let you know how it feels out there. hey, kate. >> thanks, ukee. it feels fantastic out here. there is a nice breeze, coming through in the shade, it feels grade, wait ace hot day but we did break heat wave, we did not get to 90. eighty-nine was the high today. now temperatures dropping tonight into the 60's and pretty comfortable evening in philadelphia skies are clear right now just a few cumulus clouds on storm scan three nothing going on, a few clouds through lehigh valley but no showers to talk about tonight and everything is quiet just the way we like it. temperatures right now still hanging on to the upper 80's in most locations. eighty-eight at the airport. eighty-seven in wilmington. we can see cool air in the poconos where it is 70 degrees in mount pocono. eighty-six at the atlantic city airport. the dew points dropped in the 50's. more comfort with low humidity, temperatures will drop nicely here tonight. your fur forecast out and

about at 7:00 still warm 84 degrees. seventy-nine by 9:00 p.m. and then by 11:00 down to 77 on our way into the 60's but what ace head we have got a system we're watching that will track to our south starting late tomorrow. so tomorrow starts with the sunshine but by the time you leave work tomorrow it will be clouding up, showers will come through, later tomorrow night and mainly from the city on south, and that storm moves off shore on friday and bring chance for rain mainly well off to the south but there could be a few showers and stay mainly cloudy breezy and cool. i'll tell you how cool as we rebound toward weekend coming up with the seven day forecast when i join you inside. >> thanks, kate, very much. bucks county man is behind bars accused of killing his own father, with a sword. police say eli good rich fatally stabbed his father allen in the family middletown township home yesterday afternoon. a criminal complaint allege goodrich confessed to that crime and he is being held without bail at bucks county prison on murder and weapons charges. a boater rescued at sea

tells "eyewitness news" he did not want to die. damon sexton was fishing fortune a with a friend off the coast of cape may on sunday. he fell over board when the boat went over a wave. against all odds sexton made it back to the boat after swimming for four hours. he was then pick up by the coastguard. >> i laid here, on the couch with the blanket, just shivering, like uncontrollably. i'm not just going to lay here and die. i will swim as harrahs i can. >> officials say the odds of surviving four hours in a cold ocean, are slim. no serious injuries were report that had bus crash in wilmington. it happened at intersection of 11th and walnut streets around 11:00 this morning. the rescue crews had to free a driver trapped inside, the smashed suv, seven people, including three children went to the hospital for what authorities called non-life threatening injuries. philadelphia civil rights leaders are calling for a new investigation in the brandon tait-brown case. the 26 year-old was killed during a traffic stop in december and the the officers

involved were later cleared of wrongdoing. tait-brown's mother is demanding the department of justice new get involved. >> i'm's pleading, begging with our government, to please acknowledge, and stand up, and do something. for all of the people of america. >> reporter: this rally was held in mayfair where tait-brown was kill. early morning fire rips through four vacant row home in camden. fire fighters responded to the 1100 block of sheraton street around 5:30. an occupied home at the end of the road was spared and no one was hurt. it is unclear what spark the fire but neighbors hope surveillance cameras in the area will help in the investigation. overnight apartment fire left dozens of families homeless in berks county. chopper three over the schillington common. authorities say 11 of the 12 units were occupied and they all sustain either smoke water or fire damage. in within was hurt. red cross is assisting 35 displaced residents as

investigators search for a cause. one person was rush to the hospital after this truck fire in furlong bucks county. ups truck caught fire near york and sugar bottom roads around 2:00 this morning. roads were closed for several hours but reopened around noon time, the cause of the fire is under investigation but the truck may have hit a construction barrier in that area. still to come on "eyewitness news" and they are making a big impact more than a dozen inspiring citizens are honored for their positive impact on their community. >> reporter: somebody leaves behind their shore house and that might bug you until you find out to this belongs to aim cleve bryan, coming up how a special guest who stayed at a house for sale in brigantine. and it is a beautiful day down the shore and in the city and it looks like it will stay beautiful at least until tomorrow afternoon that is when a few clouds can work their way from the the south and we could be tracking a few showers to finish out the week i'll have your full forecast, coming up, hi pat. >> do you know hot best team since the all-star break?

some outstanding young people were honored at national liberty museum in philadelphia 15th annual td bank young heroes awards were held today and that ceremony honored 14 inspiring young people from the area they took action to make positive change in communities both local and, global. congratulations to all of them. thank you for all of your work. new high rise building apartment is coming to the olde city neighborhood. developers are making some history. >> officials broke ground on the brown hill development called the bridge, at 205 race street. it will be the the first center city high rise residential building to seek leegoals certification for energy efficiency. brown development will welcome new tenants in 2017. frank sinatra fans will get a kick out of this one. the it is a blaze he called home and it is on the market.

>> as "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan, sinatra use to stay there when he performed in atlantic city. the the location is probably the best location, in brigantine. >> reporter: with unobstruct views of the beach, bay and sky line this brigantine house doesn't require much of a sales pitch. but within these pastel walls there was a new jersey legend. >> we discovered frank sinatra stayed here for a week men 1990. >> reporter: according to the home's owners the sand casino staff approached him about housing a special guest. they didn't normally rent the house and they were about to say no, until sand revealed the mystery celebrity. >> they really, didn't want to do it, but it was for frank sinatra. >> reporter: they say he required a case of whiskey case of hershey kisses and he needed a piano. >> this piano was bought specifically for frank sinatra to use while renting the house and he warmed up for his act here.

problems there the couple just included we showed you on the time lapse video. not much a happening in the city. everything is quiet on this wednesday evening. it is a comfortable night with that nice breeze. temperatures are still warm but again not humid. that makes all of the difference this time of the year. 87 degrees in wilmington. eighty-seven in dover. eighty-three reading. mount pocono, slightly fall like weather 70 degrees right now. heat wave is over, again we had a good run this week. ninety monday and tuesday. wednesday, thursday, last week 93 and then today 89, the heat wave is done, and it is out of here and we don't have anymore 90's in the forecast. it may steam up in to next week. lets look at our future weather picture. no problems tonight. everything stays quiet. we will start tomorrow with sunshine. watch at 3c p.m. cloud lift into the region and by the time you leave work it will be cloudy. get to work, nice and sunny. leave work in the cloud cover. overnight tomorrow night a few showers from the city on south. north and west, you may not

get any rain at all. showers continue friday morning, and it will rotate through on east winds. we will break you out on friday, north and west, things look good. in the city, a few more cloud and down the the shore we have better chance for showers continuing throughout the day on friday. this is not a major rain event for us. it is heading south portions of maryland, virginia, we could see a third of an inch, maybe quarter inch in philadelphia allentown reading, maybe completely spared by this system. it will go to the south but will bring that cooler air in on friday. overnight tonight comfortable 57 degrees. tomorrow sun giving way to cloud, 84 for daytime high. in your seven day forecast there is a cool day friday, not as wet as this may have you thinking, it will be a cloudy day but rain should stay to the south throughout the weekend things look great. mid 80's both saturday and sunday. if the cloud hang on saturday morning it will be mainly down the shore and then sun comes out, sunday looks great. fantastic august weekend on the way and then just humid again this week, back in the
