show you what's happening with the storm. if you look, looking just at three hour loop. see across the northern branch of the screen there, that heavier pocket of the rain that's now moved out to sea that's basically what rolled through the southern most counties last night. so that's long gone. what are we left with? let's is her know on it, shall me? pretty much the southern tear of the area as we had expected, as far as where you're still finding wet weather. but because this is already brought the brunt through we are only going to get better and clearer time and probably end one some sunshine before it is all said and done here in philadelphia, certainly the further north you go, you are actually dealing with a nice clear sky to begin with. here's where we stand as a result. definitely still mild, courtesy of the cloud cover essentially acting as blanket overhead for wildwood, millville, dover. but it is a bit cooler the further north you go. soy, still splitting the region in two when it comes to this storm system. just not going to be soaking wash out for anybody at this point. sixty-seven in palmyra. pair of six's both whim owe grove as well as mt. holly. looking forward in the nor cast today your eyewitness

everyone traveling at posted speeds. for those of you coming in from jersey a look at the 42 freeway, northbound creek road approaching 95. what we see at this hour, slowly starting to build now as we move toward the 6:00 hour, we will see this certainly build. right now still enjoying the open roadway everyone still traveling at posted speeds, and i just mention this stretch little bit ago i'll mention it again the schuylkill eastbound, the off ramp to spring garden; closed, until 5:00 a.m. every morning until august 12th and then it reopens. so again, it is closed until 5:00 a.m. then it opens for the rest of the day. you will see that again until august 12th. there is some construction, 202 northbound, off ramp to route 401 is closed friday, at 7:00 p.m., until monday, at 5:00 a.m., just make note of that. and then of course we've got that sinkhole here at plymouth meeting. so just make note that far until august 31 back to you. >> meisha, thank youment philadelphia police investigating a deadly overnight shooting in north philadelphia. a 18 year old man is dead and

his attacker is still at large. new this morning, we join "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo, at the scene, with the latest information. jan, good morning. >> reporter: erika, good morning, and police say this is an unusual shooting, because all of the eyewitnesses here on scene earlier this morning tell police that the person who pulled the trigger is a woman. now the victim, a man was taken to temple university hospital in critical condition this morning. he has not survived those injuries. soap now philadelphia police are investigating a homicide here in north philadelphia. the crime scene unit has been here all morning long, but they just wrapped up, and moved out of the scene. so take a look at the video. this shooting happened right around midnight. police with the 22nd district responded to the 1900 block of north crosskeys street for shots fired and a person injured. when they arrived police found 18 year old man shot at least twice. they say he was shot on the street outside of his home, and according to eyewitnesses, the shooter is a woman around the same age between 18 and

20 years old. witnesses tell police that woman had gotten in a argument and a fight with other women on this block before the shooting witnesses say she later returned to the area, and that's when the shots were fired. >> the only balistic evidence we have is one projectile, on the sidewalk, in front of the victim's house where he was shot. the shooter is described as a female. this female is 18 to 20 years of age wearing jeans and was last seen north on foot, in the 1900 block of crosskeys street. >> now, police don't know exactly what these women were fighting about and arguing about before this shooting. they have not yet released the identity of the 18 year old man who was killed either. of course this investigation continues. in the meantime they have found surveillance video in this area. the cameras at least, they will be returning today to see if any of these cameras were rolling. we are reporting live in north

montgomery county's district attorney says kane leaked secret grand jury information to the philadelphia daily news. supposedly, in a attempt to embarrass the former state prosecutor, kane thought made her look bad. >> when an elected official violate the public trust, and violates his or her oath, it is up to us to stand up and hold that person accountable. >> in a statement, kane says, quote, i look forward to the opportunity to present my case in a public courtroom and move beyond the behind the scenes maneuvering that has defined the process to this point. right now, a 38:00. in business news this morning some small business owners are react to go a change in credit cards. money watch's hena daniels joins us from new york from the new york stock exchange with that and more for us. hena, good morning. >> good morning, erika. most small business owners say they are not ready for a big change coming to credit card payment, that's according to a study by wells fargo. starting in october businesses with don't have equipment to process new

e-mail. septa spokesperson says the transit agency handled more than 328,000 papal rail pass requests. the winners now have until sunday to purchase those passes. also septa says, holding second lottery next week. >> on next wednesday we're going to do another lottery just for the norristown high-speed line, and for the 101 and the 102 trolleys. and so, by monday, tuesday you will know if you have any options for regional rail passes. >> septa says 31 to 32,000 passes will be available for the norristown high-speed line and the media trolley lines t says the goal is to accommodate as many people as possible for the two days the pope will be in town. all right, philadelphia public schools also likely to add an extra day off next month because of the pope's visit. schools will already be closed on wednesday the 23rd for yom kippur, and on friday the 25th because of the papal visit. the superintendent is expected to ask the board to approve
