i'm told there is a possibility they could be looking for two suspects. devout business community broken. >> scary, what can we say we're scared. >> reporter: neighbors of the hard working business woman known as zi za are stun. >> shocked and disappointed with where this world is going. >> in preparation for that about on the at sundown, officials say ziza djordevic, the owner of the best cake kosher bakery arrived early to work typically around 4:00 a.m., two hours later when they were called to her bakery off of haverford avenue. they say that she had been confronted near back end of the store and shot in the chin. >> really she's a very hard worker. >> she's a nice woman. always has a smile on her face. she came over yesterday i saw her. >> reporter: ziza djordevic was known to give odd jobs to those in need of work. the regulars say the best cake name was no exaggeration. >> she was a wonderful lady. i bought cup cakes for her for my children's birthday party.

>> reporter: police are investigating the attack as a robbery an ordeal that the victim had gone through before. >> the community is good, i got a job here. it is just sad, sick to your stomach to hear people get robbed here every day. >> reporter: although police are investigating this as a robbery they say it is unclear if anything was taken from the scene. victim remains in critical condition. the reporting live from overbrook park, alexandria hoff for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thank you. pennsylvania attorney general kathleen kane is expected to be arraigned tomorrow via video conference from the montgomery county detective boro. the state's top prosecutor was indicted yesterday. she faces perjury and conspiracy charges on allegation that is she leaked secret grand jury information and then lied under oath bit. an attorney for kane said she plans to plead not guilt a mid calls for her to resign from office. former philadelphia eagle irving fryar has been found guilty of conspiracy and theft

by deception. fryar's mother, 74 year-old elaine mcgee, was also found guilty to take in mount holly. he and his mother stole more than 1.2 million-dollar from several banks in a mortgage fraud scheme. sentencing is in october and they could face up to ten years in prison. new information tonight on the papal visit, we new know secret service will not be screening visitors who are planning to cross ben franklin bridge. the bridge will be shut down to vehicular traffic during visit to philadelphia but will remain opened to pedestrian. officials say visitors will see officers on the bridge to make sure everyone crosses safely. coming up, a little late her in our broadcast how this piece of presidential history will play a role in the pope's history and visit to independent mall. we will that have in ten minutes. across our area, some showers, some sun, we had a mix of weather depending on where you live but weekend is looking great for everybody. meteorologist kate bilo is live on the cbs-3 sky deck with her first forecast,

kate. >> jessica, here in the city, it is a perfect friday evening. it is warm but not too warm. nice comfortable breeze and lots of sunshine. we really could not ask for much more from a summer friday evening, then what we have right here even down the shore where cloud hung own and a couple of showers. things are clearing out this evening. lets look at storm scan three. not a whole lot happening right now. all those showers have moved off the coast, clouding with it and we are clearing out across the entire area even southern delaware we have had steady showers earlier today. nothing but sunshine at the moment as you can see across the region the clouds are moving out even from the shore points. temperature wise it feels comfortable. lets take you out to the time lapse in rehoboth beach and see what the day looks like down the shore, far cry from here in the city because included rolling through, puddles on the boardwalk as those heavier showers rolled through, but now, finally seeing breaks in the cloud cover and it will be a nice weekend, even through the delaware beach and jersey shore. temperatures right now 85 at the airport.

thirty-eight in wilmington. seventy-eight in atlantic city. along the coast cooler with that northeast wind 74 at rehoboth beach. seventy-seven in cape may. ocean water temperature sitting at 69. in the city we have a great first forecast on a friday evening. 80 degrees at 7:00. 9:00, 76. by 11:00 we are at 74 degrees. we have good news down the shore today and didn't like weather so much? we will love the weekend, that sunshine both days for the shore points, 79 on saturday, 80 degrees on sunday. it will be warmer here in the city, i will have forecast from the city to the shore to the poconos coming up when i join you inside. now back over to you. well, camden county man surviving a ordeal he was lost in the woods for three days. as "eyewitness news" new jersey reporter cleve bryan tells you the man is now safe and sound thanks to some volunteers. >> we were just scared. we wanted to make sure that he was okay. >> reporter: jamie and buck conners feared their name or jimmy wharton had little

chance of survival. the 61 year-old called 911 saying he was lost in the woods in cross key road and winslow township. then his cell phone died. multi agency search ensued but for almost three days in one could find wharton in the dense woods. fortunately some good samaritans were also on the job 25 year-old cristina, told her friend they needed to help. >> somebody is lost around here and we know the woods, so, we should probably get out there and help. >> reporter: volunteering to help police help rode around on atv and dirt bike for several days. around 7:30 thursday night they stopped along high tension electric wires off williamstown road and heard a voice. >> he said his name. he said he had been walking in circles. we're like that is the guy. >> reporter: they went several hundred yard through thigh deep mud and found wharton who is very weak. >> me and my friend nick carried him out and cristina and brittany were pushing the briars and sticker bush's way to carry him out. >> reporter: they snapped this picture on the ride back as

dehydrated wharton gladly drank a pepsi. conners looked to visit wharton in the hospital this morning. he told them he thought wow die lost in the woods. >> he kept ending up, turning around, being back in the same puddle that he started from and just kept getting spinned around. >> he looked relieved. he looked happy to be alive. i think it opened up his eyes and it is a greater appreciation for life. >> reporter: wharton remains in the hospital being monitored for dehydration. we asked people how did he survive out the in the woods with nothing to eat or drink? they say he was sipping water from puddles n winslow township, cleve bryan, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". gas leak forced closure of the new jersey turnpike in cherry hill for nearly two hours today. police say contractors working on wood crest road hit a gas line just before noon time. the turnpike between exit three and four and surrounding local roads were all closed as repairs were made. no injuries though and traffic in that area is moving once again. three residents at a

senior living facility in hockessin delaware were sickened by carbon monoxide poisoning. chopper three over the village on the road. a faulty boiler in the basement for the leak. the building was evacuated around 9:30 this morning. everyone was allowed back inside just before the noon hour. pse&g is working to get salem two nuclear reactor backup and running. salem two automatically shut down wednesday afternoon after an electrical problem with the cooling pump. officials say the plant did what it is designed to do. there was never any danger here. it was more than a year since the last shut down, the the salem one and hope creek reactors were not affect. amoroso's bakery is closing its southwest philadelphia bakery and moving to new jersey. what is more, the bakery is laying off all 200 employees. the the company and ginsburg bakery of atlantic city will open up a new joint facility in bellmawr camden county. they will take advantage of the 20 million-dollar tax credit and current employees are encourage to reapply for

exercise in and sit outside and have dinner outside. nice weekend as well. we will take you right out to storm scan three which is clear, you can see showers, clouds, that impact the shore points earlier today have now moved on out to sea. we are not seeing any problems right now. still a few clouds in southern delaware. they saw brunt of the system. we have had light rain, showers, last night, north and western suburbs for brief time period overnight around midnight did get rain but that is all moving away. skies are clearing throughout the rest of the weekend. we are watching some clearing down the shore tomorrow morning, clouds may hang on for a couple hours in the morning. may not be the best beach day to get outside on the san. we will show thaw in a moment. eighty-five in philadelphia 80 in allentown. seventy-four mount pocono. cooler down the shore but you can see dew points are very comfortable. dew .55 in philadelphia right now. fifty-three in reading.
