5:00 am
typically are busy and sure shaping up to be that way this monday morning, katie. >> yes, it looks that way weather wise, too, meisha a things finally starting to go little more downhill. we have been kind of spoiled in recent days here, where we've had very pleasant weather recently, not necessarily going to be the case throughout the day today. but, it is also going to be one of those mixed bag casino every days. you see this all the time in summer, where you have a little sun, you have couple of clouds, you have a shower, you have a thunderstorm. just makes for very word i forecast. do you have allow for all of that to take place, start things offer by taking you on outside, show you on storm scan, this basically just a snapshot view of the regional radar, with our tri-state sweep being made on all of the different radars, picking up on couple of little pocket already, of few showers, out, right on the border of new castle county, lancaster, berks. so just the combination, folks, not talking about wash out by any stretch. but there will be this sort of scattered variety, of showers, and/or thunderstorms, firing up throughout the day. it is all frontal boundary related, again, not going to be wash out by any stretch.
5:01 am
but, we are sort of front loading this forecast, as a result, with some wet weather both today and tomorrow, before things can start to dry out across the board. meanwhile, we take quick check on some of the area dew point, generally in the low or mid 60s from philly on southeast. so not terribly humid just yet. that is going to start to change though as we see more moisture get built into the atmosphere here, at the moment, temperatures are reading generally in the 60s, as are the dew point, too, but as the day progresses, expect some sun, few clouds, shower, thunderstorm, pretty much anywhere, it will be fair game. but it won't be a wash out either. so if you have outdoor plans, i would keep them, meisha, a at the same time, don't be shocked if you see some raindrops along the way, too. >> good to know, i'm going on walk, then. good morning, everyone, happy monday to you. if you are just joining us, we're so happy you are. here is a live look outside, 59 southbound at cottman. come around the s curve into center city looking great there. also, the blue route, at route one, for those of you traveling this stretch, you can see, almost looking like a ghosttown at this early hour.

5:16 am
through here, that's what's going to help usher in the wet weather issues, essentially here, for the next two days. initially it is a warmfront, then the cold front, once that is out of here we're home free basically. start to clear things out for you here. so that's how we will sort of break down the forecast for you, looking ahead, you can actually see the future weather picking up well on very heavy rounds of thunderstorms rumbling in right now through kentucky. but here is the front we were just talking about. so as we watch the warmfront lift in initially, notice, just few speckles show up here. this is as of 10:00 a.m. this morning. so i would say really at any time you could see shower or thunderstorm, most notably the next few hours, then again later into the day and tonight, and then as we head into later on tonight again that moisture building up. watching for showers, storms, and then the cold front comes in with the heaviest rounds of showers and thunderstorms, and potentially as we go on the air tomorrow morning, in fact, we will have very heavy rain to track. >> this could be with us really at any time. then we start to clear things out by wednesday. high pressure once again becomes the main story. for now into the mid and upper 60s across most of the board here, in fact, everywhere dropped out of the 70s in philadelphia, and down the
