hit 46 year-old joseph heard near franklin and race streets yesterday morning. heard was dragged about 50 feet and pronounced dead at hahnemann hospital. >> pedestrian and bus were going in the same direction boating east, pedestrian is found halfway through the crosswalk when the bus making the turn left turn runs over the pedestrian. >> police have questioned the driver of the bus, they found a pair of headphones at the scene of the accident but not clear if the victim was wearing them when he was hit by that bus. national transportation safety board says it was a truck driver's fatigue that led to the deadly crash that injured comedian tracie minister again. investigators have released animation depict ago this crash from june of 2014. in morgan and fellow comedian james mcnair were in the limousine on the new jersey turnpike when a wal-mart truck rear ended them. ntsb says roper had been driving for 28 straight hours. they also determine that the limo passengers were not wearing seat belts. wal-mart has since paid settlement to mack nair's

"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao joins us now to tell us more about this. the just turns your head, jan. >> reporter: it is not first time we have heard about a scam like this involving faking cancer and scaming people out of money but it is surprising and horrible every time you hear it. this pennsylvania beauty queen scammed people out of thousands of dollars by telling them she had leukemia they say she trick her own sister into believing she was sick. beauty queen, recently crowned miss pennsylvania, u.s. international, is no longer riding in parades and making public appearances, but instead she's posing for a very different picture, 23 year-old brandy lee gates, new find herself behind bars and facing felony charges. police say she scammed thousands of dollars from her family to friend by telling them she was diagnosed with
