there. still tough going for them. and that is the renmant of erika. now, we go over to the coast of africa. where you can see, we've got new hurricane, hurricane fred, with us is continued winds at eight a miles per hour. and the good news with this is it is looking to dissipate as it moves out. now, it is very far away. off the coast of africa, where they develop, not usually where we see hurricane already. but, i think we will keep an eye on that one, i like the idea it will lose steam if it starts to head away from the coast there. now head to our coals. taking live look at rehoboth. gorgeous out, there see the clouds starting to push away. so getting very nice beach day, 84 degrees, right now at the shore it could be really filings. notice the clouds though, have started to move out. we have that cloudy sky earlier, but, all of it is starting to push away. and that means, we heat up even quicker, so notice, in philadelphia, here, already at the 87 degrees mark, same thing in wilmington, 84 in allentown, 86 in trenton, and atlantic city, we're all
12:18 pm
heating up even the poconos in the 70s, right now, as we speak. so, yes, it will be a little bit after steamy day today. the heat is back, our average this time of year is 83 degrees. yes, we've already hit that, and gone right past t as you can see, sunday, we hit 91. so if we hit 09 today, 90's again, as we head to tuesday, wednesday, thursday. generally, and it is a loosely defined thing, but generally people think of heatwave as three days, with 90 degrees or more. in this part of the country. when you get excessive heat. obviously that would put us in category for that if you are looking for relief, i have idea, how about headed to the poconos? look at this, over the next three days, stunning weather up there. where we are talking low 80s, and then mid 80s, as it goes into tuesday, wednesday. should be quite nice out there. again beaches will be nice, too, you saw the picture of rehoboth, loverly day, specking high of 86 degrees, watch out for the sunshine, though, uv index is six, sun is out, full force right now, get the sunscreen on. and, if you have got kids out there, we do have a moderate

rip countries being today. you know, we are that yesterday, but it is actually widened to the area, so you can see now, all the way basically from long island all the way down to bethany beach looking at moderate risk. great idea to check in with lifeguards. because if there is a problem on the beach where you're at, you'll know, they'll let you know so not blindly walking into something. today partly sunny skies, hot out there. dow think we'll see the 09 degrees high yet again today. see the wind out of the west 10 miles per hour, not providing too much relief when i was outside i didn't feel whole lot of winds out there. few clouds, tonight, but still, very warm. as we drop down to 73 degrees, when you are in the 70s, for a low, you know it is a warm day out there. and let's take a look at your seven day forecast, because this is where it gets little wacky, folks. tuesday 93, wednesday 94. thursday, 92, you see where the relief is. it is in the upper 80s. so, yes, is that relief? it is relief when you go from 94, i think. but if you want to see more

comfortable temperatures, i think will be next weekends. which could be pretty good timing, right? we start to get the nice stuff back for labor day. i still think warm enough for people tone joy it, but not quite as stifling, as it might be if your plans are to stay in the city again if you are at the beach, i think you're thinking hey, mid 80s. >> come on, i was at the beach over this past weekend and it was just one of the most spectacular weekends. >> i was there saturday. and in margate. i thought so, too, this is perfect. >> perfect, love it. hopefully better weather on our way. >> and soon we will all be complaining about how cold it is. >> no kidding. so, everybody, new way to get around. it is not a car, nora bike. >> it is actually type of electric scooter, jill wagner shows us it is now starting to gain some traction. >> commute through the streets of new york is a breeze. >> like flying, feels like whoever craft because you're going so fast, feels great. >> riding a self-balancing uni cycle, or svu. but some also come with two
