this is cbs-3 "eyewitness news". good morning , this labor day will be a hot one. how hot will it get and how long will it stick smashed. >> thousands packed the parkway for the made in america festival val. crews are working to clean it all up as fast as possible, more on the progress being made overnight. >> this will have your skin crawling. >> this appears to be bed bugs on a septa bus. the changes the transit agency is already making. just makes your skin crawl, right? good morning, it is tuesday, december 7th, happy labor day, i'm erika von tiehl. we check in with justin and meisha with the latest on the roads and also our forecast, good morning, guys.

>> yes, labor day, monday, we ' rock stars. if we have to say so ourselves. jessica, good morning. >> good news, weather is quiet. young what we want for a holiday, and if you are loving the summer weather, you will love this weather if you have beach or pool plans today, looking great. outside, still comfortable, some suburbs waking to up 57 gross in allentown at this hour, warm nerve philadelphia, 07 at the airport, south jersey checks in in the low 60s this hour, there are the suburbs, mid 50's, quakertown, mid 60s in willow grove. dew point temperatures gauge how much moisture is in the air, humidity starting to come up, real pleasant on yesterday, and saturday, but now, starting to see that increase in numbers. so little more humidity around this afternoon, but over all still not bad day. nice and quiet on storm scan3, looks good, if you have your outdoor plans, pack your un screen, seeing a lot of sunshine today. temperatures starting to warm up, approaching the 09 degrees mark, once again, and little

a show, now how to take it down. just behind us here we've been watching this mantle there is stage behind us, one of five, that must come down, and there is now concert, clean upgoing on here on the parkway. the rest of the clean up is the old-fashioned casino, broom pushing, we saw several dozen people doing that here on the oval. others are bagging up trash to hall off. also seen several other workers, dis assemble roseanne rose of event tents, the work area here, spans, from near the art museum steps, parkway, by the entrances by 20th and 21st streets, even 22 streets, as many as 70,000 people per day of the two day music festival made their way here, to the area we are told, for the 60 acts took the stage this year, of course, including beyonce, who closed out saturday to standing room crowds. of course, those big crowds mean big, big messes. and back out here live, we did speak to few of the workers here, who tell us that they've been here since about

midnight, as for how long they'll be on the clock, they say, that will be until the job is done. take a look now, you will see they are doing pretty good job. when we first got here bottles of trash all over the grassy area here for the most part looks to be clear. what's now left to do? they have to breakdown all of these event tents over here. they are also lots of portapotties, that have to go, as well, no one wants that job. also, too, to help hall away unused beer that was not touched by crowds at all over the two day weekend. there are tents full that far beer, that has to get out of here, budweiser is one of the sponsors. live here from the parkway, erika, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> justin, doing great job out there, thank youment right now, a warning is probably not something you want to see here as you are headed to your breakfast table. septa rider has shared photo what he claims are bed bugs. shared this on social media. shared over 10,000 times, in just couple of days.

robert roberts junior says he was in the back of a route six bus friday evening, in the olney area. he saw the bed bugs, told the driver, and fellow passengers. >> i was like oh, wow, i let everybody on the bus, yo, this bus god bed bugs. everybody got off the bus and they ran. so that's how that went. >> what we did is we located all of the buses, that could have been in that area at that time. we found three. we took those off the street. we're going to fume gate them immediately. >> septa says it can't confirm if they were in fact bed bugs, but they do say they clean their buses every day. transit agency says it is changing material on the bus seats so they won't have to deal with issues like that. >> we're learning more this morning about the condition of the only survivor of shoot that happened during a live television interview. new pictures were posted of vicky gardner sitting up there and smiling from her facebook recovery page. the shooting happened last month at roanoke, virginia. gardner was shot during live

interview with wdbj reporter alison parker and photographer adam ward. parker and ward died during that attack. gardner is expected to be released from the hospital soon. kim davis, the kentucky county letter jailed, has filed appeal. thursday judge found davis in contempt of court and lock her up. davis objects to same sex marriage on religious grounds. she stopped issuing all marriage licenses in june after the supreme court legalized gay marriage. davis is a elected official so she can't be fired. her attorneys say they are client had no plans to resign. and, syrian refugees continue flooding into europe, benjamin netanyahu has announced his country will build a fence to keep them out. israel has already gun build that fence along it eastern border with jordanment netanyahu has sadist ray sell too small to take in any more

refugees. how much, israeli opposition leader herzog, countered netanyahu by saying israel should continue to take in limited number of syrians. >> turning now to campaign 2016, challenging numbers this morning, for democratic presidential candidate, in the polls she is down while bernie saunders surges ahead for the first time. saunders travels to manchester, new hampshire today riding the wave of good news. clinton is currently under fire for questions about her private e-mail service while she was secretary of state. if the presidential election were held today, saunders would beat clinton 41% to 32%. >> i've always thought this was going to be a competitive primary and i welcome that. >> i think the secretary's people are getting nervous without the energy and entheusiasm a campaign is bringing for the. >> meanwhile, vice president biden is still mulling over

>> in southern california, the coast guard is is her clinic for a whale tangled in hundreds of feet of fishing line. the 80-foot mammal hasn't been seen since rough seas forced rescue tears stop their efforts on friday. a spokesman for noah says people should stay 1,000 feet away from that whale if they spot it and alert the coast guard right away.

>> also, a cheetah exhibit at the indianapolis zoo remain closed this morning after a cheetah managed to escape. the adult cheetah got out of its enclosure yesterday morning, spurring hour long walk down while staff found and tranquilized the animal. they're trying to figure out how she escaped. peacock escape, no big deal. boy, cheetah's start escaping, justin, people start getting nervous. >> nothing scar bye the forecast, though. >> beautiful day yesterday. hoping for more of the same today. what do you think? >> it will get hotter, people don't mind it, people still hanging out the pool, backyard, shore one more day, looks pretty good. >> end of summer. >> that's right, but we'll keep the summer forecast going. here's our headlines. what's expected the next few days, a lot of sunshine, heat, humidity, start to return. we will talk about yes, some rain in the forecast, been a while, but does return. now, that thing is really this week is the temperatures. they'll be really heating up. average heist of 81. well wolf that this week,
