northbound direction, this crash i was telling you about, accident in center city, broad street, arch street, all of the lanes block. i can tell this is serious crash. so for those of how have to get in and around this area, all the lanes are blocked. so you are going to want to use alternate routes in and around that area to avoid broad and arch street. update coming up in just a little bitment make knows of that. also downed pole and wires, conshohocken avenue at falls road. again, here, all the lanes are blocked. i would use the alternate like monument road if i were you to get in and around that area. erika, over to you. >> meisha, thank you. well, it is a new era in late night tv just one day away from the premiere of the late show of colbert. taking zero over for long time hot david letterman. suzanne marquez talks with the star about his plans for late night laughs. >> stephen colbert has been in america's living room for almost two decades. his first big role came in 1997, as a correspondent on comedy central the daily show

gram, and facebook, this photo has been shared over 10,000 times in just two days. >> look between the crack of the seats and i was like oh, my gosh, that's a bed bug. >> robert roberts, jr., was sitting in back of route six bus friday evening. he said he immediately told the driver about the discovery, then shouted to fellow passengers. >> i said yo this bus got bed bugs, everybody got off the run and ran. >> many post to go social media. where septa was brought in the loop. >> as soon as we saw the tweets, and the instagram information about it, we contacted the person who took those photos and said: where did you see this many? >> this picture was apparently taken around the olney oregon area. route maps specified that the bus in question could have been one of three. >> we took those off the street. we'll fume gate them immediately. >> septa's jerry williams says buses are cleaned every day. >> every two weeks we do a full house cleaning. we go through, we actually

wipe down the inside of the bus. and then every month, every single month, we fume gate our buses. >> roberts, jr., feels that the fumigation schedule should be revved-up to two, three times a month, especially, on the heals after new school year, and the arrival of pope francis. >> you have people that sleep on this train, and they leave behind these bed bugs, and, you know, it is to up septa to get this situated. you know, it is nasty. >> septa couldn't tell fuss those were definitely bed bugs in that photo, but they say they've been treating the issue as if they were. they also added that they've been slowly transitioning and phasing out of those fabric seats to a molded classic, so that they don't have to deal with issues like this. reporting in north philadelphia, alexandria hoff, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> philadelphia police commissioner, charles ramsey, says protesters are missing an opportunity to make a difference to improve relations between law enforcement officers and the

philadelphia, wilmington, low mid 60s, so feels little humid. so the trend today, will be feeling humid, tomorrow we call it steamy, wednesday and thursday back up to that oppressive feel, as a core of the that humidity rolls on in. storm scan3, nice and quiet over the mid-atlantic, mostly clear skies today, a loft sunshine, see showers out toward chicago, headed our way. tropics nearing peak hurricane season september 10th. we do have one storm to talk about in the atlantic, tropical storm grace, winds at 50 miles per hour off the coast of africa. headed westward in time, should weaken back into tropical depression as it approaches lesser antilles this weekend. all right, back home, mostly sunny, warmer, 09 degrees this afternoon, for tonight mostly clear, low of around 71, here we go, with the extended forecast, string of low 90s through thursday, then some needed rain returns to the forecast thursday into friday. then cooling back to the 80s, with sunshine, for the weekend. let's get a check on the roads with meisha, good morning. >> good morning, justin, steamy, i like t i don't just

like it, i love it. love the warm weather. here's a look at 95 southbound at cottman for those of you coming around the s curve into center city. you can see looking really nice, really nice. i don't even need to say there is but everyone is traveling around at posted speeds. not over at posted speeds. here is a look at 309 southbound at the turnpike, you can see, just few drivers out there in this stretch, ft. washington, looking great, in and around the area. now we do have report of very serious accident, in center city. broad street, at arch street. westbound, two lanes are blocked. in fact, i just had reports that all lanes are block for little while. so, use alternate in and around this area. i can assure you, that with all of the flashing light out there it will be -- going to be slowing down, diverted. won't be able to get through that stretch. vehicle fire, markley street atwood street. one lane blocked here, so you are still able to get by in that area. also, downed pole and wires conshohocken avenue at falls road. all lanes blocked. use that alternate of the
