late night. after months of build up and anticipation the lay show way stephen colbert arrives. this is a live look outside the historic ed sullivan theater. >> tonight we have a first look at the first show and will go behind the scenes in a one-on-onend view with the comedian find out what he wants to bring to the late night scene and the one person he would love to meet is all straight ahead. we're now just about 35 minutes away from the premier of the late show with stephen colbert. good evening i'm ukee washington. >> i'm jessica dean. excitement has been building for months now and it all comes down to tonight. "eyewitness news" reporter todd quinones is outside the ed sullivan theater in new york. todd you spoke with fans who were at night t tonight's tapin. >> reporter: so many of them were interested in at least trying to figure out who is the real stephen coluber. so many ofs have gotten you've to the character he played on the colbert report. well tonight fans got their answers. >> stephen!

>> mr. george clooney, george! >> with the added star power of george clooney colbert made his long awaited late show debut. >> i laughed a ton. i clapped so much my hands are sore. >> it was really great. >> members of the audience telling me the taping of the show inside the ed sullivan theater took longer than expected sean o'neal made the trip up from north wales montgomery county. >> there was a lot of material. i don't know how they'll fit into one hour. we were in there for 2.5. tonight's editor uninevitable position. >> he or she will earn their money. >> exactly. >> tuesday night fans got to city a different colbert. >> the same old colbert. >> right? like he's just as funny as he was before. same joke, just as funny but not the -- ooh not fake any more. he's real. >> did it take a moment to get used that. >> a little bit. i was surprised to see that happen.

shoot video of what the guard was doing. >> don't touch me. get off me. >> terrified screams are from 15-year-old aniay isaac. >> i was was just confused, like and scared. >> reporter: it happened at a chris brown concert at the susquehanna bank center. she went to the concessions area where she says she saw security officers apparently trying to subdue a man. >> they threw him then got on top of him. four officers on one man. so everybody just like was sho shock. >> reporter: so aniay began recording it on her iphone. watch again when one of the officers realizes she's recording. >> he said don't record this and then immediately he just got up and charged at me. he hit me in my mouth. he took my phone and my mouth was bleeding because i have braces. i felt helpless the security officers supposed to help people. >> she was visibly terrified.

>> mcdowell was not with an nyah but saw it happen. >> whatever he was doing to that young guy must have been wrong and he knew that so he didn't want anybody video taping it. >> an nyah says the officers then took her to their office. >> the officers dragged me down there like two officers on my arms just dragging me. >> an nyah says she was held against her will for hours and not allowed to call her mom maxine. but the stover doesn't end the there. >> an nyah says one of the guards deleted the video before returning the phone. >> but later, an nyah and maxine were able to recover the video from her phone's recently deleted folder. >> as mom, when you saw that video, what did you think? >> i was petrified for my daughter. she's only 15. he had no right to attack her. let a lone take her phone. so i want to press charges. >> when isaac says she tried get the officers name, she got nowhere and without it she says camden police told her she

cannot file a complaint. so she called the i-team. the security officers are employed by national event services. we made more than a dozen phone call to the company as well as the promotor live nation and the susquehanna bank sent. when we never heard back, we went to the center in person. >> they lock the door. they seemed to have lock the doors as soon as we showed up. >> all the doors locked and the gates closed. >> i just want those involved to be held responsible and to be held accountable for their actions. >> law enforcement officials say aniya was within her legal records to be roaring video as for our call to the security company, they have yet to be returned. meanwhile the camden county sheriffs office tells us they are now investigating the allegations. for the i-team i'm charlotte huffman cbs3 "eyewitness news". >> a man well known for helping the homeless in camden has allegedly been living a double

life. police say harold howl miller was running a drug mark that sold heroin and crack. he work at the josephs house just miles away from the alleged drug rink. we spoke to the founder of the homeless mission who says he's very surprised by the news. >> we're shocked by it. we believe it has absolutely nothing to do with our program. we have absolutely no evidence and there are absolutely no allegations to support that either staff or guests was involved and something that, you know, apparently mr. miller ran on his own. >> miller has been jailed for drug and weapons offenses in the past. he's now in federal custody. new tonight, british airways plane catches fire on the runway just before take off in las vegas after an engine failed. video shows heavy smoke pouring from under one of the wings. the 159 passengers and 13 crew members escaped from the plane on emergency slides. two people suffered minor injuries. the plane was heading to get wick airport near london.

>> bloody bruised and alive emergency cruise pull a driver to safety after he was trapped in his wreck car for minute hours. dramatic rescue happened in lower merion montgomery county. investigators say an officer discover the car in a creek around 4:00 o'clock this morni morning. it turns out the driver viewer off the road. the man in his 20s had been pinned in the car since 7:00 o'clock monday night. >> the car is mangel. i was actually surprised he was alive to be honest with you. >> give him fir aid, stabilize the car, cut the roof and the doors off to get to the individual. once we did that the rescue companies had to get the dashboard unrolled off of him. >> first responders tell us the driver is expected to fully recover. we are now just 18 days away from the arrival of pope francis to philadelphia, and now is the time for those making the pilgrimage into the city to get their tickets to the event. tickets for the pope's first event in philadelphia sold out in minutes. >> now they're popping up on the black-market as 20,000 more

"eyewitness news" reporter david superintendent is on the parkway soaring owl these latest developments. david? >> reporter: ukee, those 20,000 tickets available tomorrow are free and they're for two events that are going to be on the parkway but everybody has been wondering over the past couple of months how many people will show up to that papal weekend? we know 10,000 tickets were sold in just two minutes. some of those tickets are already being sold online for over a thousand dollars. from the moment local officials announced pope francis would come to philadelphia, free has been an important word. as in a chance to see the pope for free. 10,000 free tickets were available at noon on the dot to see the pope outside independence hall. they were gone in two minutes. >> in two minutes online, what do you think when you hear that? >> it's scary. oh, my god i want to stay away -- as far away as possible. >> reporter: what if free turned into $500? scalpers waste nod time putting the free tickets up for a steep cost.

we'll clear the air friday sun returns much less humid. some sun for the weekend as we well. temperatures still on the very warm side tonight. it's 78 at the airport. 76 in wilmington. 77 degrees down in wildwood you can see cooler air that green shading temperatures in the 60s up across the upper midwest and eventually that cooler air will head toward us but not until we have at least one more hot and steamy day to get through that day is tomorrow. clouds and occasional breaks of sun watch for fog in the morning and notice those scattered showers and storms this is 5:00 o'clock tomorrow just pop up storms here and there through the course of the day. but showers, storms, cloudy conditions continue all day thursday. thursday is a very steamy soupy kind of day as well. showers here 7am and notice heavy rain is possible this is 2:00 p.m. now we do need the rain. we haven't had any measurable rainfall p philadelphia since august 20th. rain would be a good thing. the rain then moves out of here clear the skies early friday morning and we get much better weather by the end of the week and the start of the weekend. 20% chance of rape tomorrow.

>> the eagles just a few days away from kick off. six days until the eagles open the season in atlanta. as upping over the weekend tim tebow was cut from the team which took a lot people by surprise. the whole tebow barkley battle for third string quarterbacks one of the main stories line of the preseason. i caught up with tim before he was released from the team and talk about life after football. what do you think you'd be doing if you weren't playing football. >> right now i would be with my awesome team at sec network and and they'll crush it. i've had an opportunity to play on some really awesome places with great teams but these fans they come out and they support and they cheer and that's awesome. >> tonight connor barwin sixers
