carabao is live on the ben franklin parkway where the pope will celebrate mass that week even, jan, good morning. >> reporter: we are in the back of the live truck because we have weather, lightening on it side, as you head out the door and, of course, papal visit and run up to the pontiff a's arrival in philadelphia will have a widespread impact all across the delaware valley. we are not just talking about people living and working in the city but people who live in the suburbs and need to make their way in and out of the city for a variety of reasons. papal planning in the suburbs is now in high gear. a lot of concerns, revolve around transportation and train service. "eyewitness news" attended meetings at radnor and norristown last night where local leaders discussed emergency services to parking, to transportation. norristown will play a big role when it comes to transportation. the norristown transportation center is one of the septa hubs in montgomery county tasked with getting tens of thousands office people in and out of philadelphia.

a possible serial shooter on the loose in arizona has residents on edge. officials say there has been a string of highway shootings over the past two weeks on main freeway through phoenix. latest happened on wednesday when a truck window was shattered. there was no serious injuries and police do not have any suspects at this time. arizona officials have have called the incident quote domestic terrorism crimes. meanwhile heavy rain has hammered japan for second day, look at these image is here, hardest hit area is north of tokyo where rain is flooding
