accident, two tractor trailers involved route 130 north bound a at groveville road at burlington township. use an alternate of street road, excuse me, route 206, that is, your alternate, avoid this area if you can, a very serious accident there. woodhaven road eastbound between boulevard and i-95 we have construction, all lanes are blocked here as well, use an alternate of academy. so again i think rule of thumb on this very busy morning is it is wet outside, there is still construction in place despite the fact that we have wet roadways and we have some accidents. we are in the sure if that is distribute together rain but allow some extra time at this early hour, back over to you. new this morning an accident investigation is underway in new castle delaware. it happened last last night on the 700 block of east basin road in new castle. details are limited right now but we are hearing pedestrians may be involved. we will bring you more information as soon as it

"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao is live as the final destination at benjamin franklin parkway, jan, good morning. >> reporter: good morning. we are coming to you live from the back of the live truck this morning because we have rain, lightening outside. we want everyone to be safe this morning. papal visit will have a widespread impact all over the delaware valley. a lot of people coming from the western suburbs into center city. planning is well underway. some of those plans are still a work in practicing gress. for many the the pilgrimage to see pope francis in philadelphia will start on the train. the norristown transportation center is expected to be packed, it is just one of the several septa transportation hubs in montgomery county that will be used to get tens of thousands office visitors

dorm room. boggs a defensive back was among five players dismissed from the team following their arrests last week, erika. nicole, fail woman accused of being master mind behind the basement of horrors case now faces life in prison. five five-year old linda weston pleaded guilty to 196 counts wednesday. only "eyewitness news" spoke to one of those victims soon after the hearing. our natasha brown has that story. >> it hit me, and she was -- several broken bort. >> reporter: tamara braid on still has some scars, from broken bones. tamara is now safely in the care of her parents, a far cry from where police found her in october of 2011, locked away in the dark basement of horrors in tacony with three other mentally disable adults. they were living in squalor, mal nourish, beat when bats and hammers, within man was found chained to the boiler. on wednesday, five five-year old linda weston pled guilty

to 196 counts against her in this case, master mine, prosecutors say behind forcing mentally disable adults to designate her as her care giver, allowing her to illegally collect $212,000 in social security checks over the course of ten years. >> 196 counts today, really bring us much closer to closure. >> i was scared before to go outside, to eat anything, nightmares every night, waking up. >> reporter: for three three-year old tamara breeden the night mayors are disappearing replace by heart warming images of her ten month-old daughter ava olivia. >> i'm so thankful for my family and kid and everything is fine for me. >> i thank god that they have found her guilty, her and her caughter and i just thank god this is all over with. >> reporter: tamara will likely wear these scars forever but she's freed by her

forgiveness of perfect captor and her spirit. >> i'm still gorgeous, i'm still pretty, i'm a survivor. >> reporter: weston's daughter jean macintosh and one other defendant have pled guilty in this case. two other co-defendants are still awaiting trial. at the federal courthouse, natasha brown, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a kid kidnapper delvin barnes is expect to change his plea this morning. barnes a had plead the not guilty to kidnapping a woman in germantown last november. the frightening ordeal was caught on surveillance video right there. prosecutors say barnes found, stuffed, 22-year old carlesha free land gate inner to his car trunk and then drove to maryland. she was, later found and rescued in the parking lot. well, people in arizona are on edge after reports of ten shootings on a major freeway in just the past one weeks. >> this suspect has not been named yesterday. state a's director of public safety is calling the incident quote domestic terrorism crimes. cbs correspondent don champion

we have lightening in the area just a heads up we have rain moving through and, it is dangerous out there right now. it will be throughout the afternoon too. so we will have a little bit of the ways to go with stormy weather. lets start with a look at farrah away, i wanted to mention we have a new tropical storm this morning, it is tropical storm henri, currently sustain wind. henri will exit pretty gracefully here. it is expect to track north and east so it will not have impacts for us but we will keep an eye on those things. we are keeping an eye on the radar here and is there rain moving through philadelphia, that lightening starting to be pick up on the tracker here and as you can see it will continue, because look at how fed this storm is as it will tunnel all this toward us throughout the day-to-day. it won't be a quick storm but we need some rain. we have had three and a half inch deficit since august 1st, no measurable rain since august 20th, and yes, we do

have some drought conditions, in and around an hour area too in the area in yellow you can see that we are dry. in the in drought but certainly dry. we can use the rain. hour by hour shows us we will see stormy weather today, so temperatures stehlin in the upper 70's and lower 80's for a high today, big difference, we have a cold front. that humidity will be income down. big difference toward weekend. we will watch for a second front to track in as well. we are talking some rain totals, as we go through the next 24 hours we could see some pockets of three plus inches of rain. that is unusual. mostly an inch or less. we are humid. tonight a low of 65. our seven day forecast, shows we do cool down measurablably. highs in the 07's by sunday. >> beautiful. >> thanks, kyla. >> yes, if we are just tuning in, very busy world in the world of travel and also in the world of weather, we can see clearly we have wet roadways out there.

we have construction, woodhaven road eastbound between boulevard and i-95, all lanes are block, use an alternate such an academy or street road to maneuver. i'll let you know when that clears. also, schuylkill eastbound past broad street we have an accident one lane is block here so you are able to maneuver around, a little bit but if you were you would i avoid this area if possible. if in the within lane is open. very serious accident in bordentown township, two tractor trailers, route 130 north at groveville road all lanes are blocked. use an alternate such as route 206 to maneuver around this area. we do have reports right now coming in that there is another accident, around this area, at route 156. so again, the challenge to day give yourself a couple extra minutes. roadways are very wet out there. erika, over to you. meisha, thank you. kentucky county clerk who refused to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples is going back to work on

monday. kim davis left a jail cell earlier this week after refusing a federal judge's order. she was released after deputies started issuing marriage licenses in her absence. it is not clear right now if davis will comply with the order when she returns. meanwhile half dozen current and former correctional officers are facing charges in a sting operation. here three of the six suspects who worked in philadelphia prisons. bryant fields, george kindle and durpea myers. authorities say that the guard got 500 to $1,500 for those delivery, the suspects face possibility of decades in prison. still to come this morning the the ntsb had has released a cause for plane crash that killed lewis katz and six other people. we have details coming up in a bit. also ahead parents of the catholic school students are required to sign a pledge, we will tell what you they need to agree to for their kid to be able to attend school and why some people are not very happy about it. that is coming up next.
