willow grove. dew point temperatures, up slightly this gauges moisture in the humidity in the the air. yesterday in the 40's, now in the low to mid 50's. this is still pleasant when we have numbers this low. storm scan three nice and quiet, a few passing cloud in the morning and afternoon still mostly sunny skies, it will warm up, probably one of the warmest days of the next seven as summer hangs on and fall does arrive in the week. there are your temperatures this morning. near 70 by 9:00. lower 80's at lunchtime. very nice. it does warm up this afternoon, mid afternoon temperatures do get up in the mid 80's. lots of sunshine and a high of 86 in philadelphia a at the shore holding on to nice beach weather. in the 80's and in the poconos talking about upper 70's. it looks like this dry stretch does continue in the weekend but we will cool down next week. we will talk about that in the few minutes in the seven day forecast but new lets get a check of the traffic and meisha. >> justin, just put a big picture of the sun, and tan

yourself. >> pretty much. >> it is early but we have an accident i-95 north bound near cottman. the right lane is block. and look at this, it is 5:30 in the morning and already you just see a stream of headlights, and also what you are seeing we are seeing taillights because that is moving in the southbound direction. that is where we are having the majority of the volume but moving in the northbound direction near cottman where we are typically not seeing the volume, we are seeing a lot of it now because of this accident. everyone breaking on the northbound and southbound side. we will get big gaper delays. everyone stops and takes a peak. i-95 give yourself a couple extra minutes. we have the boulevard southbound a at fox street looking great here with nice change from last camera to this camera. everyone is traveling at posted speed and a quick peak at the bend been, for those traveling from new jersey to center city looking great. for those traveling in the other way, eastbound direction, we have lost that far right lane that was on the westbound side, that is now moved, to the eastbound side

come next week. the students will come here, they will worship here, hear speakers here. take a look it is a stunning place this church was finished in 1888, and now, almost 130 years later, st. joes prep, philadelphia's jesuit high school, is ready to welcome the the jesuit pope. it is go time at st. joes prep. the holy father steps foot in philadelphia in just ten days. student here are making sure they are prepared for the pilgrimage. >> these are our two philly for frances. >> and the excitement is,. >> and, it is awesome. never necessity when this will happen again. >> prep isn't just preparing to see the pope but school is getting ready for influx of students. it took an assembly line to pack these welcome bags from 350 kid from 42 jesuit high

schools across the u.s. and puerto rico. they will stay at prep during world meeting of families and sleep in classrooms. motto it is a pilgrimage in the a vacation. >> they will be staying on the floor in sleeping bags and some people will bring air mattresses that might be as luxurious as we get. >> reporter: demand was incredible. the the rs vp's within minutes. decision to play host simply fell in line with their jesuit mission. >> we thought it would be great to open up our doors and be whose pittable to our jesuit brothers and sisters. >> reporter: back to the swag bags, they are filled with all sorts of gear tagged with to philly for francis a logo with a logical purpose. >> when we're down at the parkway at the mass and everything they will stan out the because we will be wearing the same shirts and hats. >> reporter: also an image meant to leave a lasting impression. >> we hope they will take it home, share with them at their classmates and schools, share with their familiar lynn a friend and carry it well beyond september 28th. >> reporter: now the students will arrive here in

philadelphia, next thursday, thursday and friday they will spend time here on campus, and then of course on saturday the the first big pilgrimage in center city they will visit independent hall to hear the pope speak there and then travel to the ben franklin parkway for that festival of the families and another pilgrimage in center city on sunday for big papal mass on the parkway, erika and nikola lot of fun and a pack schedule. >> and speaking of pack schedule we know that the pope will obviously after lot of stops to make. any chance to swing by the prep while he is in town. >> reporter: a lot of people here, i'm told the odds are low but there are odds, pope francis is a pope, still with surprises, you never know he can tap his driver on the shoulder and just swing by, we will wait and see but wouldn't that be a treat. >> you gotta have faith, thanks very much. as the pope's visit draws closer the parkway papal stage is taking shape. this is what it will look like when the pope delivers mass within week from sunday. seventy-five men and women from esn productions are busy

piecing together what will be the center piece of pope francis visit. they are constructing the skeleton for stage and arch that will cover it. crews are running 28 miles of cables. organizers say that the stage will really start to take shape by early next week. for one local family the pope's visit will be a special one they lost their 34 year-old son alex garcia to street violence. he was shot and killed on the feltonville street back in january. so row has and his ex-wife sent a letter to the vatican sharing their struggle to find justice for their son. they recently received word that they will be sitting six rows back from the pope when he lead mass on the parkway. >> we believe that this pope is a real people person, he is out there. he will connect with us. we have a lot of faith that this is just his influence will make a difference in our lives and in the lives of

also, we have some emergency road work, near this accident, at cottman because of a missing manhole cover, they are saying that the right lane is block but it is already block simply because two right lanes are blocked because of this accident. basically i-95 northbound avoid it, right now if you can. here's the schuylkill eastbound at spring garden looking great in both directions, just starting to get some volume coming out of the eastbound direction into center city around spring garden but beautiful hot shot there. now, tacony palmyra bridge scheduled to open up 59:40. plan a accordingly. reminder increased toll rates on the tacony palmyra bridge and burlington bristol bridge. that started last night at 10:00 p.m. also some construction on the the pennsylvania turnpike, this is in the eastbound direction, norristown to fort washington road work on the off ramp. ladies, over to you. in your head lines this morning the search is on for gunman who left a man dead in the north philadelphia street. several cars were also shot, at fourth and cambria last night. and death toll continues

to rise from flash flooding on the arizona utah border. sixteen people are now confirmed dead. many of the victims lost their lives when fast moving water swept away two vehicles. ground breaking is set to take place on renovations for divine lorraine hotel, landmark hotel had been closed for 16 years. once those renovations are complete it will be home to more than a 100 apartment units, stores, and restaurants. nice to see it brought back to life. more than a thousand bottles of rare wine taken from a chester county lawyer will soon go to waste. judge rejected a plan by chester county hospital to sell about 1300 bottles of confiscated wine as a fundraiser. wine was sees after the lawyer was a accused of breaking state lick are laws by selling the alcohol from his home. the judge ruled that a 1935 law that allowed seized chill to be given to hospitals could only be done for drug purposes. the wine is now set to be destroyed in 30 days.

well, a close call for one cincinnati home owner who is counting her blessings this morning after a crane felon top of her house. operator was trying to lift a tree with bolts hold ago this train on the truck, snapped. it smashed in the garage barely missing her car. nobody was hurt in this, the damage is expect to cost a hundred thousand dollars to repair. also in illinois a landscaper may be looking for a new client this morning. the company that maintains this high school football field was supposed to put fertilizer on it, but instead they used we had killer on the grass by mistake. the field is new ruined and the team is looking for a new place to play. no home field advantage this season. that is a shame. >> what a beautiful field, too. >> not anymore. >> no kidding. >> 5:49. is your house getting dusty days after you clean or maybe your allergies seem worse at home? well, if so it might be time to have your air ducts
