"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is live at the scene in the pennypack section to tell us more, justin? >> don't look at us or we will shoot, the chilling command police say was give tone that woman after she noticed they men broke into her home overnight, stole about $800, they did cover her face and held gun to her head, luckily she was still paying

attention. >> a keen eye may help police catch three home invaders, according to the victim, the 32 year old female, none of the three males were wearing gloves. so police dusted this three-story home, 300 block of shipley road, in hopes of pulling fingerprints, prints that could lead police to the trio that ransacked this pennypack area house about 1:00 a.m. >> she was on her second floor, in her bedroom, when she heard somebody breaking into her basement door that woman, 33 year old woman, went to check on the noise which brass breaking of her deadbolt lock. she quickley found herself surrounded by three mask men who will put her through hell, in her own home. >> put gun to her head, force her on to the kitchen floor, then put a towel over her head. said do not look at us or we will shoot you. then while one male held a gun to her head the other two she

could hear going through the house ransacking the house. >> the meter wait in the fear, gun to her head, knowing had her two year olson and ten year old daughter asleep upstairs in her bedroom. they and their rooms were spared. other rooms, were not. >> second floor master bedroom, all completely ransack. >> as you can see, this morning, the lights are on at this home, that mother and her children were uninjured, however, they are likely recovering from the big trauma overnightment and this big mess they now have inside their home, $800 we know was taken at this time. police say there could very well be much more that is gone from this home. their dog downstairs was tide it up a pipe we're told by the throw menace they made their escape through upstairs door and also too police looking for three men wearing dark clothing, and their faces were

covered. live in the pennypack section, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> juice absolutely horrifying, justin, thank you. also new this morning, residents forced out of their homes when fire breaks out in the juniata section of the city, thousand block of ormond street. that fire was placed under control about a half hour later. now, there is no word on how many houses were affected or the number of residents displacedment but we can tell you no one was injured. >> philadelphia police are being log at surveillance video after shooting puts two men in the hospital. it happened just after 1:35, gratz street logan. both men ages 19, 20, in stable condition, police are looking for two men seen on surveillance camera leaving that area. >> looking foreperson of interest after ruling this fire arson. the fire broke out early tuesday morning, 13 and chancellor streets, structure under construction slated to become a restaurant. investigators want to talk to this man, you see here on your

welcome back, we find out later today who bought the former showboat casino in atlantic city. stockton university approved a deal to sell the property on wednesday. the school had hoped to turn the showboat into a satellite campus when it bought the building last year. but rules on how the property can be used complicated those plans. >> the wait is almost over. wawa in center sitly open later this morning. they say, why they don't evacuate the building? >> my son, something, it doesn't look like america? >> ahmed's father said his son will not be going back to his public high school but instead will be looking for private or home schooling options. well, preparations for pope francis' visit aren't just happening here in philadelphia. a small army of workers is also working around the clock at the historic st. patrick's cathedral in new york city. landmark church is undergoing $177 million renovation. the project was slate today wrap up in december, but things kick into high gear when it was announce that pope francis was stopping by. the pope will attend an evening prayer service at the cathedral on september 24th. >> well, a special exhibit opens at the franklin institute this weekend, allowing visitors to see up close some of the art and history of the vatican. splendors opens to the public tomorrow, we have the sneak preview, this morning, there are more than 200 objects here, that takes you through 2,000 years of vatican history, some of them have never been outside of vatican city. here to tell us little bit more, larry the president and ceo with the franklin institute here, we love this place. we love this exhibit. it is really special. what did it take to put all of this snot. >> yes, exciting time for philadelphia right now. and as soon as the worm meeting of families was announced and pope francis' visit to philadelphia, we moved to ask some of our partners evergreen exhibitions being one, and in the archdioces here in philadelphia, to reach out to the vatican and help us secure this fantastic exhibit. and, the archbishop here really helped us, and it is so excite to bring to philadelphia these 200 object, some never before seen to the public. >> like this lamp behind you? >> that's he can actually right. this lamp behind us not even in rome has been seen by the public. so here it is on did i place here, used by pope john paul

at 63 degrees if philadelphia, 54 allentown, about 55, out in atlantic sit, so warming up, if we zoom in down the shore start to see that it is warm there in ocean city already at 67 degrees. little bit of southerly flow with our winds this morning, that usually brings that warm air in. that's what we are seeing. today high of 08 degrees at the shore, should be beautiful out there. rip countries social security low, no problems if you feel the the need to get in the water. now what's happening. beautiful clear skies over the area. but of course you notice this. right? that's a little stormy weather ahead of a cold front, that is going to be tracking our way. when it does, that is actually the impetus that will start to knock our temperatures down. so, while today, we are going to see sunshine and mid 80s, getting to up high of eight a degrees, it will be very different story as we get into the latter half of next weekend. see the front tracks across, high pressure moves out of the way. and then the temperatures do start to change. so, it will be a big difference, folks, when we get into monday and tuesday, but today, high of 58 degrees, should be beautiful out there. tonight nice and clear. low of about 64.

bark on "eyewitness news", philadelphia police looking for three burglary suspect who broke into a woman's home and held a gun to her head. well, her children swept upstairs. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch live at the scene in the pennypack section of the city, just horrifying story, good morning. >> horrifying, indeed. nicole. we know those men were wearing bark clothing and masks, covering their face, apparently, though, they were not wearing gloves. so police spent hours here at this home dusting for fingerprints, about 1:00 this morning, the woman said she heard a foys downstairs, she went down to her basement, and
