papal visit coming up when i join you inside. >> see new a bit, thank you. police are trying to track down who is responsible for burglar is in south jersey. burglaries happened on haddick drive-in sewell, gloucester county. lets get to "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco with more on this story, diana. >> reporter: some were even caught on cameras we just spoke to a few neighbors hit the by these burglars, they say is what most infuriating about this ace they could see them stealing from their trucks and cars but they could not catch them in the act. washington police are now warning everyone in the a area to be on the alert, police have released this surveillance video from a home on haddick drive-in sewell, where two individuals believed to be in their teens, early 20's, and scenery moving tools from the back of the pickup truck. owner of the truck didn't want to be on camera but tells "eyewitness news" they took a thousand dollars worth of tools from his truck, and it happened at 3:00 a.m. monday morning. while he was sleeping. another neighbors say the same two individuals came back next night and they were caught on

that neighbor's camera driving a black pickup truck, in all, there have been about 51 cars that were hit, 19 sheds, and six homes, since last month, neighbors say they are keeping a close eye on each other's home and police are asking anyone if they have any information to give them a call. there have been several neighborhoods that are hit, by these burglars. police are now looking to see if they are all related. we are live from sewell, new jersey tonight i'm diana rocco for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". thanks very much. frightening moments from a mother in northeast philadelphia, when three armed men barged into her home and threatened her life. police say the three three-year old mother went to check on the noise in the basement and found the three men wearing masks. the home invasion happened on the 2800 block of shiply road, while would the man's children were upstairs asleep. >> while one male held a gun to her head, the other two she could hear, going through the

house, ransacking the house. >> it appears that $800 in cash was taken and investigators say none of the three males were wearing gloves, so they have abduct the the home, hoping fingerprints will lead them to the suspects. police need public's help tracking down these suspects wanted for jewelry store robbery in girard estates. this surveillance video fridays h and y royal jewelers on south 23rd street, on monday, about 5:30 in the afternoon. suspect punched an employee and held him at knife point and tied him up. they got away in the hyundai sonata with temporary tags. search is on for a man who robbed a bank in newark, delaware today. police say just before 12 credit 30, this man demanded money from fulton bank on east main street. the officers say the teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash. if you have any information, you're urged to cat police. in chester county, thomas muir pleaded guilty in connection with the accident that killed two teenagers in exton in february. police say that he was driving

under the influence when he slammed his pickup truck in the back of the van carrying six people. those two teenagers died. muir was charged with homicide by vehicle and sentencing is expect move fifth. neighbors helped pull an elderly man out of the berk home in hamilton township new jersey. chopper three was over this severely damaged home on pasadena drive. flames broke out around 9:30 this morning. two residents were treated at the hospital for cuts and burns. fire marshall ruled this fire an accident. gloucester county high school is on alert after one student has a confirmed case of whooping cough. another student is also suspected of having the respiratory disease, that clear view regional high school, chopper three over mullica, today, school officials say that they are following the cdc guidelines, including sanitizing the school and buses. the school re mains opened at this time. st. joseph's university in philadelphia has a new president, and historic choice, mark reid was

we have a storm, sneak attack here, this storm coming up the coast but that front and they will move through, at the same time. through the day tomorrow we are looking at a good deal of sunshine. lit built more humid tomorrow thanks to the southwest wind but sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. that front comes through. sunday morning we could have a a few clouds and showers but this storm then gets pick up, it gets brought out to sea by 1:00 on sunday we have sunshine off to the north and west of philadelphia, and better chance for showers to the the south and east maybe down the shore, so by late afternoon sunday in time for eagles game that front moves out. high pressure build back in and we have got clear skies and comfortable conditions on sunday afternoon. but then heading in to next week as that high moves off shore we will get more flow from the north east and that whim bring a cool pattern back in the north east united states, jet stream dips to the south and north east wind will make temperatures early next week feeling cooler then thermometer would have you believe and temperatures will go back to below normal after a whole week above affirming.

lets look at our tropical satellite, we have two depression toss watch out here, tropical depression number one that will move off to the north. it will not be a problem for now. tropical depression number ten by tonight could be a tropical storm, we will keep an eye on that and see this one getting more organized, it has a swirl to it here so that could be one to keep an eye on throughout the next week or so but right the now nothing imminent for us here in philadelphia or for caribbean just that storm off the coast that we will have to watch as it could creep up and bring a few more cloud with that front saturday morning. mainly clear, very comfortable. we are at 64 for your overnight low and saturday looks great, sunny, beautiful, it is last saturday of summer. 84 degrees. the great day to get outside and to those summer activities you love to do sunday for eagles game cowboys in town. home opener. you cannot get much better then this sun shining. cooler. 77 degrees. the hint of more football weather in the air. eye bitterness weather seven day forecast and shore cast, cooler next week.
