good morning to you in quakertown, waking up maybe wanting a sweater this morning, little warm their in mt. holly coming in at 6 degrees. now the breeze will pick up today. right now you can see, it is already picking up a bit down the shore. so wildwood, about 10 miles per hour, you can see it is that northeasterly flow, that's coming our way. also, few clouds out there. that's also going to increase as we get throughout the day today. and here's our problem, folks, it is what lies to our south, if we can get this to zoom out, if you don't mind hitting the space bar for me there. what lies to the south is this coastal low that's tracking toward us, the greater the rain threat. high pressure moves out the way. that leaves us vulnerable to dealing with none just wind, but rain, too. so if you're at the shore, you'll see bigger impacts. gusty winds 30 miles per hour, beach errosion, rough surf, possible coastal flooding at the shore f you're in the city and maybe on foot, heading down to take a look what's happening, it will be cool, breezy, and we do have the rain chance in the afternoon.
5:18 am
you can spree 71 degrees at 4:00 p.m. at 7:00 p.m., about 66, look at the wind out the northeast ex ten to 20 miles per hour, will make it feel even cooler. so saturday for the pope's itinerary, see the celebration of mals, i think we'll be just fine, cool, cloudy, breezy out there, sunday where my bigger concern lies. that's because of the possibility of some afternoon showers. but again, regardless, it will be breezy, and it will be cool out there. if you are walking just be prepared, everybody. today, though, we don't have to wore bit rain. 76 degrees, some early sun, increasing clouds as we go throughout the day today. tonight, about 59 degrees, and again, that wind will still be with us, little breezy as we go into our evening tonight. seven day forecast shows our little trouble spot here on the weekend, we cool down, we get the breeze in, even the possibility of rain on sunday. we get back to monday, shower possible, by tuesday, though, hey, sunshine and 80 degrees. so, that's not bad. meisha, you have got your plate full today. i don't envy you. not an easy day. >> kyla, don't even go there right now. yes, sure do. so listen closely, the main
5:19 am
note, avoid center city if at all possible. the reason is there is going to be a lot of detours, road closures, ramps on the vine today, some starting right now, some are in effect, some start tonight at 10:00 p.m. here's a look at the schuylkill at spring garden, leaving from the schuylkill to the parkway, you can see, good visual of what you are going to be seeing a lot of these streets that are closed. this is the barricade that will be in place on a lot of the areas, including the one i just showed you, the ben franklin bridge closing tonight at 10:00 p.m. and right now the far right lane moving into philly is already closed because they are setting up chain link fence for pedestrians, to be able to cross this bridge. so tonight there is will be closing, at 10:00 p.m., looking good right now. now for checklist for you, let me back out of the way here, septa regional rails uprighting on saturday schedule, today, septa buses, several detours, and suspensions, so make sure to check your schedule, patco speed line, special schedule, as well today. the new jersey transit buses, are suspended couldn't completely 5:00 p.m. tonight, more updates on mass transit
