i would have been devastated, but for our daughter. she's -- she is everything to so that would have crushed h >> before we told our daughter, he had put his head on my shoulder in the kitchen and he wept. and our daughter witnessed t she said, mommy, why you are making daddy cry? you have to apologize. so i bit inside my mouth and said, i'm sorry, daddy, for making you you just have to be strong and he was weaker and breaking down for whatever reason if it was because of our daughter. >> it's not the first health crisis for scott, renee an 7-year-old bayly. renee had non-hodgkins lymphoma and five years ago doctors also found she was in the early stages of breast cancer. she had three lumpectomy that's were benign. >> it's so interesting in being with her. i can not get over her. i cannot get anything over her. because -- i find this with

people that have survived cancer. there is nothing you can do to them. i have cancer, what are you going to do to me? you know? so she got the toughness. i am not. i am not tough at all. i'm tough in a different way much she is life >> of course with the struggles comes new strength and we were with scott at his first celebrity golf tournament benefiting the bailey bayo angel foundation. scott and renee set up the charity with bailey was born and missed diagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder. even though she's fine now, they want to pay it forward no matter what life throws at them. >> i said make me a coach, don't make me a player. i'll give back for the rest o my life and devote myself to helping others. >> her strength gives you strength? >> exactly right. >> those two are a good team. >> i like them. want to show you something else that happened when i was with them. scott celebrated his 55th birthday.
