"eyewitness news" reporter rahel solomon is live in university city with more on this, rahel? >> reporter: jessica, good evening. the students today collectively seemed on edge, around the city, until some classes were barely attended. students say a lot of people were feeling very afraid and law enforcement tells me they took this threat seriously too. >> reporter: separated by campuses but bound by a single thread, universities around philadelphia were on high alert on monday after what i'm told was this threat, posted to the anonymous side. >> it is pretty quiet on campus. so people have stayed home. >> reporter: threat did not include a specific school but did say it would happen around 1:00 p.m. central. recently retired fbi agent jj

to go out with short sleeves and just that perfect in between fall weather. we have more on the way. lets look at storm scan three. not a whole lot going on but clouds are still clinging to the coast. its a cloudy foggy damp day down the shore and with the persistent on shore flow continuing, threat for coastal flooding remains tonight. we will see showers off the coast of north caroline, carolinas hit very, very hard with heavy rain over the weekend and portions of south the carolina check in with over 2 feet of rain in spots. for us, temperatures have rebounded a little bit but now that the sunnies going down, clouds rolling in, temperatures starting to drop. we are back to 65 in philadelphia, 61 in atlantic city. the wind coming from the north and east. they are dying off a little bit. still a bit strong down the shore and over portions of the delaware beach w that on shore flow continuing, with areas around delaware bay now, tonight still under a coastal flood advisory for next hour or so and then things improve down the the shore, they will improve in the city. we are talking temperatures back in the 07's starting tomorrow.

will be behind bars for 40 years to life. prosecutors say, that regusters claimed to be 59 year-old girl's mother whether he she took her from a west philadelphia elementary school in january of 2013. regusters then sexually abused the child. the the young victim spoke in court saying quote, what she did to me was wrong and i don't think that she should do it to anyone else. meanwhile a philadelphia man is facing numerous charges after allegedly holding a a 17 year-old girl a against her will. this is the the suspect shane joseph mcmichael of philadelphia. on sunday police in bensalem got a 911 call reporting a burglary and assault on forest avenue. they talk to the 17 year-old who told us mcmichael hit her and choked her and held her begins her will. mcmichael is behind bars right now. police in lawrence township, new jersey arrest a man accused of groping incidents, here, and, 24 year-old john cannon faces several charges on have burglary, criminal sexual contact, and trespassing. he is being held in mercer

weekend. you can see clouds clinging to the coast, cloudy day down the shore but they will break out soon. zooming out across the region, showers across north carolina, high pressure building in that will continue to push those clouds out to sea, and start to bring in that pressure gradient we have been feeling since last thursday. so right now it is 65 in philadelphia 64 in allentown. sixty-two in millville. we are still below average in the lower 70's this time on the year. we have high pressure overhead tomorrow we are sunny and warmer, sunshine for your tuesday, system to the north on wednesday will bring a few more cloud. we are still in the 07's. that front will knock us down a couple degrees for thursday. slightly back and forth but really pretty pleasant when you are looking from the lower 07's to the mid 07's can't complain about that. wednesday looks like warmest day, friday as well, friday as we await arrival of yet another cold front. here's joaquin now a category one, that will turn into a tropical low as it head towards portions of ireland, great britain could see some
