we have a developing story this noon. police in camden county search for clues after a missing toddler is found dead near his home. good afternoon everyone, i'm pat ciarrocchi. developing story, a missing camden county toddler, has now been found, and he is in fact dead. that three year old went missing this morning. authorities search for answers, just heart breaking. >> al next. >> absolutely heart breaking, the home we are talking about is just up the block behind me, brick one on the corner 100 block of cooper street

here in haddon township. where family members recorded a three year old boy missing around 6:00 a.m. this morning. >> looking out, scan the area. , around three hours later half mile away young boy was found, decease in the wooden area by the river, on south park drive. according to the camden county prosecuter's office, k9 units cracked the scene of the child, and led investigators to that location, and now signs of possible trauma or cause of death, still all under investigation. >> we were awaiting the results of an autopsy to be conducted to determine cause of death, and very ongoing and active investigation. we appreciate your patience in this matter. >> now getting live look from chopper three, over the scene, where you can see multiple units have been out here investigating, the large question remains, how did this toddler get to that spot on the river?

could he have possibly wandered there himself? or was he taken there? there is a lot for investigators to look through right now, of course, over on that scene, and over at this child's home right now. an identification has not yet been made. reporting in camden county, alexandria hoff, "eyewitness news". >> a loft questions here, thanks very much. a deadly home invasion leaves a community on edge today, and now a manhunt is underway for three suspects. it all happened in the 1100 block of ruby street, in philadelphia's kingsessing neighborhood. that is where "eyewitness news" reporter rahel solomon joins us live, with more on this disturbing crime. rahel? >> reporter: well, pat, you can see, this afternoon, the scene has cleared, but family members remain here on the porch where this happened. the victims' wife describes terrifying ordeal. she says a gun was put to her head, her husband shot several times, and their three young children inside, as it all unfolded. police tell us that this happened just after 11:00 last night, here on the 1100 block of south ruby street, in the

city's kingsessing neighborhood. police say the three male intruders all believed to be about 17 years old, broke into the house through an unlock front door. the victim's wife said she was taken to the kitchen at gunpoint, while one intruder demanded money, and then in the living room, police say her husband was shot multiple times, in the head. he later died at presbyterian, and detective on the scene tell us the victim was 50 year old tony harris. harris' wife said horribly three young children five, two, ten months old, upstairs the whole time. >> one took me straight to the kitchen and put a gun behind my head, and they was telling him, well, you keep moving, he was going to blow my head off. and they was it is egg, they started it is the guy on me got off me, and went to them, in the living room, i heard one shot. >> and police tell us the

children who were inside at the time were not harmed. meantime, there were some questions earlier police were looking into an indent at 51st and locust, and overturned car, that was abandoned with bloody handgun inside. within the last ten minute or so detective telling me they do not believe that incident was related. we will tell you to follow this one tonight, beginning at 5:00. rahel solomon. >> rahel, thank you very much. twenty-eight year old being treated for gunshot wounds to his leg after another violent home invasion there is time in the fernrock neighborhood of philadelphia. police tell us, that two mask gunmen forced the man into his home, in the 5900 block of north 12th street just after midnight. the gunman stole his watch and ransacked his home. his girlfriend was present during that home invasion, but was not injured. the suspects did get away. >> and then caught on camera, vicious assault on homeowner in northeast philadelphia. video is showing two suspects knocking on the door of the 70 year old man's home in the 800

block of welton street in the somerton section. once the man opens the door he's thrown down and hit with a metal stick. the victim remains in critical condition, with a cracked skull. we ask you if you have any information, please, call the police. the search is on in wilmington for two young men who attempted to break into a church. we have some surveillance pictures right here, police say the two tried to break into st. marks united methodist church on limestone road last month. the young men are wanted for attempted burglary, theft, and criminal mischief. >> one of the surveillance pictures right here has a really clear shot of one of those men. if you recognize either of them, you are asked to call the police. >> a family of three is in the care of the red cross right now after a fire swept through their home early today in aspen, delaware county. that fire broke out 400 block of garden lane around 6:00 a.m. part of the back of that home collapsed while firefighters were on the scene. there are no reported injuries. and the cause of that fire is

under investigation. >> well, we have really gotten spoiled with a nice stretch of weather. but that changes today. first look at the forecast with meteorologist, kyla grogan live on the skydeck. >> popping in and out the door, because we have had few sprinkles out here, certainly little breezy, and very cloudy right now. as you can see behind me, let's take live look, at the current conditions in center city, it is 68 degrees, so it is warm, 13 miles per hour, wind, out of the southwest, and certainly you can see all of the clouds out there. live look at storm scan3, shows you that we are seeing just a few little showers, roll through, again, they are spotty, not everybody's going to see them. but, they're enough to make you want to have umbrella with you for this afternoon. taking a live look at the future weather, you can see there is comes through this afternoon, little back ends to this system. so i would say between about three p.m. and 8:00 p.m., most likely see few more, then clears out, sets us up for pretty good looking wednesday and thursday. so, not bad. now today we are expecting the temperatures in the low to mid

back now on "eyewitness news" at noon a big announcement from playboy magazine. >> monthly magazine will no longer have fully nude women. the age of the internet, you can find any kind of photo you want to free. therefore, does not make good business sense to sell a magazine full of explicit photos. magazine will feature women in provocative poses that include articles and interviews. the company removed nude photos from its website last year and viewership has sky rocketed, so now people can really say i just read it for the articles. >> well, in entertainment news this noon, good news from gahm i award winning singer, songwriter, john legend. >> legend and his model wife, christie, are expecting their first child. just last month, she re shield she was having trouble conceiving, now, she is overjoyed. sharing the happy news on instagram, and thanking everyone for their well wishes. she even says that she is looking forward to getting a belly, and she won't mind, people touching it. >> not every day a super model says she won't mind getting a bell.

>> i troubled actor randy quaide and wife ordered held on $500,000 bail each in a vermont jail. the two were arrested friday as they were trying to cross into vermont from canada. the quaide's are want in the california on felony vandalism charges, stemming from an incident five years ago. they turned up in canada in 2010 saying they were seeking asylum for fear that so-called quote hollywood star wackers were after them. okay, yes, there you go. >> story of the day. >> oh, randy quaide, yes. >> so, how about the weather? >> so we have some changes today. >> do have some changes, kind of two fold, right? seeing this front come through. that will get us out of the 70s into the 60s. >> another one coming get us out of the 60s into the 50's, little early for that, you're right, more like mid november temperatures. but let's start with what we are dealing with today. which is some spotty showers and in fact i had few sprinkles on me out on the skydeck, live look at center city lots of clouds out, there and again, one of those days

to take your umbrella with you in case you get caught in a shower. not everybody's going to see it. and it is just a little bit of the time that we will probably see that through the afternoon too. that's what we expect today. going through the day, more clouds, spotty showers, but we're going to have great sunshine returning mid week. friday another front comes through more showers possible as we end our work week, then much cooler temperatures for the weekend. the wind pick up, 13 miles per hour in philadelphia, and you can see atlantic city, wildwood, also up in the teens. so breezy out there. too. current temperature 68 degrees, in philadelphia, just 58 up in mount pocono, 72 though millville, warming up, 71 atlantic city we zoom in here, 61 pottstown, look at palmyra already hit the 07 degrees mark. so you're really warming up. 70s yesterday, had them again today. start to see the rest of the week ramp down to the 60s which is where we should be this time of year. we new we weren't supposed to be in the 70s. life look at storm scan3 shows you we've got just few showers

rolling through right now, but there is a little bit after back side on this system. so you can casino of make out, if you can see it there, the counter clockwise circulation of low pressure system, drag little more our way before said and done. that's why we can see few more spotty showers, future weather shows you track this through, go throughout the afternoon, spotty showers, about five, 6:00 still coming through, then really starts to clear out. and then we're all set up for few clouds, but also some sun to work it way in for wednesday, by thursday, talking sunshine. so, today, that front pushing out. there goes the 70s, and there goes the showers. we will get some sun and clouds tomorrow. just 60s for your wednesday, high pressure, staying in control, beautiful thursday, in the 60s, and then friday we have got another front coming through, that will bring some showers, and that's where we will see the big difference in temperatures. so behind that cold front on friday, chilly air that will drop us ten to 15 degrees below average. now, today, we are talking 70s, but saturday and sunday these are the highs, everybody, and 50's are about where we should be for mid

november. so, yes, bit much. all right, so today, 74 degrees, deep that umbrella handy in case you get caught in one of the spotty showers, and we might see little sun break through this afternoon too. we'll see, clearing skies tonight, drop down to 55 degrees. and quick look at your seven day forecast shows back to normal temperatures, there, wednesday, thursday, and boy oh, boy, is the weekend going to be an interesting one. now, if you bought some fall clothe, and you've got them in the closet, i have a coat in the closet still with the tags on it, not ready for it yet. might be busing it out. because saturday night, sunday night, that means lows upper 30's. >> oh, kyla, yes. >> i like the silver lining with the wardrobe angle though. >> yes, well, i get up real early in the morning. i'll be put that coat on. >> we'll be right back.
