we will be chilling, right. good morning, everyone, well, right now, traveling on the majors, i would same, overall, it is still a fairly nice ride outside. besides if you're traveling on the schuylkill expressway, 76 westbound, right at the 26 entrance ramp to the westbound schuylkill, dealing with this accident here. now, you can still access the schuylkill expressway, so they're still allowing the ramp travelers to continue on by. but, we've noticed some intermit and the blockages as a result of some of the emergency personnel, on scene, so if you are traveling in this area, i would do your best to bypass it if you can. maybe maneuver through south philly little bit more. then head into center city elsewhere maybe south street. here better safe than sorry. we'll continue to keep you updated eastbound side running smoothly over to new jersey, 42 freeway, if you are traveling in the northbound direction, seeing few more vehicles out there. as you approach the stretch of 295. not full blown rush hour, just yet, because as we take a look at the speed censors, overall, still moving well. fifty-five is our average on

wal-mart worker, take a lock here, investigators say he walked into the super center at philadelphia mills then tried to walk out with a big screen tv and few other items. wal-mart worker asked for a receipt and that's when police say the suspect stabbed him. the employee was not seriously hurt. >> well, someone has pulled off a heist at jewelry store in the middle of the night. now philadelphia police are looking for who do it. this happened early thursday morning, at the time and gold store at south 19th street, right around rittenhouse square. investigators say, the thieves broke into a former burger.org storefront, drilled through the dry cleaners next-door, into the jewelers. the robbers emptied the safe. >> i couldn't believe it. it is a good thing it is my store is all messed up, but the compared it the jewelry store it is -- >> you're okay. >> yes. >> there is no word on the price tag of the stolen items or the damage to the stores. >> well, police charge a suspect in the death after delaware doctor after a

lingering emergency personnel left on scene. when i say emergency personnel, it is police. so travel the westbound schuylkill the ram from 26th street onto 76, is what we are dealing with here. that's compromise that ramp making things little slow. but as you will notice, not seeing too much volume in this area. so it is really just this incident, that is just making things little bit of a gaper delay if you will. but just barely. over now to the ben franklin bridge. no major problems in either direction. it is really still smooth sailing out there on the bridges overall. i would say, 95 southbound, starting to pick up that volume out of the northeast, down through to the vine street expressway. so that's bound to get even heavier. 6:15, by 6:30, 6:45, it is a full blown rush hour. also, for this weekend, and the following weekend, the manayunk norristown line will be shuttle bussing, and no service at few stops, careful there. also each weekends through november, 20th to the 22nd, the media elwin line will be shuttle bussing between media and elwyn. so, plan accordingly for any weekend festivities.

>> well two, men charged in the beating of same sex couple in center city last september have agreed plea deal. philip williams and kevin hair gone won't serve jail time. but they are on probation for three to five years. and will serve 200 hours every community service, at a lgbt organization. the third suspect, kathryn knott, reject add plea deal and will go ton a trial. one of the beating victims was left with a broken jaw, that doctors wired shut while it healed. >> a local fire company is putting out the call on social media for a few good men and women to join their ranks as firefighters. umbrella so to speak. >> this one has a long history. it has been in service here for 125 years. and you can see along the name plates here, just how long some of these folks have been volunteering. some since the 19 60s. so, the issue is once these folks retire, these companies need to replentish their ranks, so they are looking for a few good men and women. for now, relatively calm at the fire company of ardmore, just truck and equipment checks. but when the horn sounds, these are the people who know matter what answer the call. >> our page remembers activated, we drop what we're doing, get in the car, go to the firehouse, grab our gear, go to the scene. >> it takes a special person to be able to juggle everything they have to do in their personal life and the firehouse. >> over the last 25 years, the number of emergency calls has doubled for the lower merion fire department. but volunteer numbers continue to drop. >> the volunteer fire service is in a crisis today. the companies are down at

least one third to half of where they were from when i started. it is tough. i mean, people's family dynamics, their work structures, have all changed within the last 30 years. >> there are seven independent companies within the lower merion fire department. members respond to emergencies, just like this one, in bryn mawr. the great majority of these firefighters are volunteers. >> you might not even be aware that their local company is partially mostly or 100% volunteer. >> so, they're changing that perception, banners and signs all over the township urging people to answer the call, become a volunteer. over at the gladwynn fire company, there is even a cadet program for 14 year old. >> and what makes these fire companies so amazing you can walk into a fire company, see 14 year old just as interested as the 80 year old who retired 25 years ago. >> to start, no experience is necessary. volunteers are fully and highly trained. you could fine yourself at a scene like this, merion fire

beautiful leaves out there. we want to talk about our football game of the week here, too. because it is friday. and this one is downingtown, east taking on coatesville, 57 degrees, few clouds, and little chilly out there for your 7:00 p.m. kick off. about 57 degrees. so just take that jacket, that's the advice that you just heard from my weather watcher and we will stick with that. good news take a look at storm scan3, see how the showers literally just fell apart? so i think really few sprinkles even if you get that, that's out of here, then sunshine in this afternoon. current temperatures, 44 mount pocono, 54 in philadelphia, about 57 in atlantic city. as we go hour by hour, see the sunshine coming out today, we work our way into the 60s, so nice day on tap. very seasonable temperatures. no problems at we get into today. but, this weekend, we are going to see temperatures highs in the 50's, and check this out, sunday morning, we are talking in philadelphia, temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees. so it is going to be cold one out there. a we get to the weekend. but today high of 67. get into the overnight lows, low of about 45 degrees.

see this cool air, rolls right through the weekend into monday, so really don't warm up until we get into tuesday. but notice, there are some 70s on the other side of that. no need to panic, right, vittoria. >> absolutely, we have to just keep that in our heads, because going through the commute this morning, i'm sure a loft you will be panicking at the wheel a bit. because you're going to find a lot of rush hour volume and incidents to double that volume. as we take a lock at the schuylkill expressway, this is eastbound, belmont, we do have accident here, the majority of it or one vehicle off toward the shoulder then another right at the merging lane here, on to the eastbound side of the schuylkill from belmont. so, this will cause a gaper delay, no doubt about it, already seeing a slow-down making your way out of your western suburbs down through to this point, then again, approaching the vine. on the flip side, westbound, 76, earlier accident, was cleared around the 26th street area. so south philly. that's been cleared out of the way. but still have delays approaching the vine. then a little bit of that volume aoun continuing to build even more from city avenue out through to just beyond belmont.

north of girard, here, they say, he ran from this honda pilot suv, after it crashed into this wall, inside what's exgirlfriends whom police say he abducted from a home in west philadelphia. that brought along north college avenue. they both crashed right here. there are no injuries to report, however, the woman inside was taken to hahnemann for treatment of what we are told are assault injuries, the investigation as you see continues this morning, detective are now here on scene. nicole, back to you. >> gloucester county school teacher's fish story has landed her in the guiness book of world records. a.m. and did a brewer, no relation, not my aunt or cousin or anyone else, art teacher in turnersville and shark lover. welshing she took picture while volunteering for shark conservation group off the coast of south africa. that picture is in the 2016 guiness book of world records, how cool is that? most cage divers keep their heads underwater, right?
