real nice right now. justin, i hear, we're in store for some good weather? 70s? >> it will really be warm this week, yes, pretty good stretch of indian summer, also past the first frost. that really is the definition of an indian summer, above average temperatures, after the first frost, that's what we will see this week. today's kind of the transition day, we'll have some clouds, little sunshine around today, storm to the south, but we will stay dry. live look right now center city, all is quiet this morning. temperatures are comfortable. some 50's, maybe some four's out in the cooler suburbs, nothing terribly cold, may have the jacket in case. there you go. hainesport new jersey checking in at 52 degrees, philadelphia at northeast airport at 54. we are looking at low 450's up in princeton, as women, then blue bell, 48 degrees, so again, those northwest suburbs, starting to cool down little bit in the upper 40's, may drop few more degrees, but enough cloud cover out there to casino every hold this with us, some steady temps. check out the extended forecast, mid and maybe even upper 60s today. all depends on how much

sunshine we can see. we go back to full sun tuesday, wednesday, high of 71 tuesday, 74 degrees, wednesday. and we keep it in the lower 70s, for the end of the week, thursday, and friday. now, both days will be a chance for maybe scattered shower, as the front moves through, but overall these are some warm temperatures, the first week of november. and the weekend starts off dry. little cooler, some 60s saturday, maybe some showers come back into the picture sunday with temperatures in the upper 50's. so if you love the 70s, you'll love this upcoming work week, now we go over to meisha for check on the latest traffic. >> i love it. good morning justin to you as well. happy monday to you at home. just waking up with us, things looking real nice in the traffic department, as women. ninety-five southbound, past cottman looking good, looking really slow, i mean, slow in terms every just not many vehicles out there, and for monday morning, i will say this, little surprising, in new jersey, take a look at 42 freeway northbound creek road, approaching 295, again, this is one of those areas right around in the 5:00 hour we start to see kind of steady stream, but right now really light volume levels there, as women.

the vine, take a lock at this, the vine street expressway, looking great this morning, we are dealing with overnight construction project, eastbound and westbound lanes closed between the schuylkill and broad. that's not the case this morning it, looks nice, everything is open. talcony palmyra bridge scheduled to open at 5:40, again that's 5:40 this morning, i will let you know when it does indeed do soment construction in wilmington route 202 northbound off ramp to 95 south is closed and closed until around 5:00 a.m. this should be opening any time soon. i'll let you know when does, erika, over to you. >> meisha, thank you. two teens riding their bikes in strawberry main sean become the target of gunfire. one is dead. the other is unharmed. it happened yesterday evening as the two were on 29200 block of west sedgley avenue. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us now at police headquarters to tell us bore it, justin, good morning. >> reporter: erika, good morning, this morning, a 16 year old is dead, and police say his killers are on the loose, and homicide detectives are now on the case. and one thing they are not ruling out is that this may

have been the end result of road rage. >> seventeen shots at a 15, 16 year old sacks awful lot of shots. >> reporter: most of those shopped mapped by yellow police evidence markers sunday night. one shot landed not on the ground, but in the back of a 16 year old boy, riding his bike on the 2200 block of west sedgley avenue sunday afternoon. >> police were in the area, heard the gunshot, immediately began to survey the area. >> police got the victim to temple hospital where he died short time later. authorities say that teen victim and 15 year old boy were riding along sedgley, when a silver buick suddenly stopped in front of them. police say the boys pedaled on. >> got further along sedgley avenue, they noticed the same buick had pulled over, and two males exited the rear, stood next to the trunk. the complaint and the at the time believed something bad was about to happen. they turned around on the bikes, they noticed two males began shooting at them. >> only the 16 year old was struck, the 15 year old was able to escape.

>> one of the neighbors said somebody got shot. >> nearby the emanuel open door holiness ministry was holding service, not hearing the shots, but witnessing the aftermath. >> i thought it was, you know, ambulance going past, and we came out and just saw this shocking. >> and shocking for many in that neighborhood. police again are saying that there is no motive at this time. though they are not taking road rage yet off the table. police at this time looking for two men, one said to be black male, heavyset, last seen wearing a dark hoodie. police also looking for that silver buick with dark tinted windows. there are also surveillance cameras in the area, police will check and see if they caught this shooting. we are live outside police headquarters, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". erika? >> justin, thank you for. that will. meanwhile, philadelphia police have a suspect in custody in connection with a murder in logan. police say a man knocked on the front door after home at tenth and fisher last night.

the victim's wife tells police the man shot her husband several times in the head, he died about a half hour later. police believe the motive stemmed from previous fight. >> police in kennett square are investigating reports of needles found in halloween candy. the sewing-like need was found in 5twix bars. four kids found the tainted candy after they went trick-or-treating in the hills neighborhood. >> we all kept our twix and our skiddles and our snickers, but we didn't find any in the snickers. we only found them in the twix. >> police say another child came forward yesterday afternoon, saying a needle was found in his snickers bar. we'll have more on the story coming up in a live report. >> 5:05, happening today, president obama plans to visit rutgers newark campus as part of push for criminal justice reform. the white house says he'll discuss the flight of formally incarcerated individuals seek to go rejoin society. white house spoke man says new

>> medical condition may have caused driver to crash into trick-or-treat nerves new york city. authorities are look to go see if the 52 year old driver suffered a seizure. the crash in the bronx killed throw people including ten year old girl. three others were injured. the driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition. >> russia is starting to bring home the victims from the med tree jet plane crash in egypt. 224 people, most of whom were russian, died in the sinai peninsula 23 minutes after take off. just minutes ago, we got an update, and official with the airline rejected the possibility that technical problem brought down that plane. don champion has the latest on the investigation. >> reporter: the bodies every victims of the russian metro jet crashed and in egypt plane to st. petersberg this morning, russian aviation officials say flight 9268 broke apart 23 minutes into

its flight saturday. at the time the plane was cruising at 30,000 feet, over egypt's sinai peninsula. all 224 people on board were killed. and and affiliate of islamic state group claimed responsibility for the crash, but so far they say there is no evidence to support. that will they are looking at possible mechanical and structural issues, because the plane suffered severe damage in the past. >> it had a tail strike seven years ago, and had been repaired. we just don't know if it was an adequate repair. >> as a precaution, growing number of airlines, including lufthansa and air france are avoiding the air space near the crash. >> we don't know what happened here. as long as we don't know what happened it is probably prudent to avoid the area. >> the head of russia's aviation agency says debris from the wreckage is spread over more than six square miles. the plane's black boxes have been recovered, but so far have not been analyzed. don champion, cbs-3, "eyewitness news".

looking down the ben franklin parkway, and we do have some high level clouds, coming across our region right now, that's because of storm to the south. but no threat of rain today. just we will be trending to warmer temperatures each day. as we head into the middle of the week. temperatures right now into delaware, south jersey, low and mid 50's, not bad, dover delaware, 56. fifty-four millville. fifty in swedesboro this morning, low 50's in newark around philadelphia. similar numbers. low 50's in palmyra, voorhees, new jersey, then north and west of the city starts to cool off little bit mid 40's allentown, skies little more clear, the farther north you get from philadelphia, 49 out in chaddsford. soap, comfortable start to the monday. you can see the cloud band, again, reaching up to the northern poconos, thickens up though into south new jersey and delaware, storm still well to the south. see the rain shield is down across southern delmarva peninsula, really will have hard time getting northward. just some clouds today specially along the coastline, part of central southern delaware, farther north and west from the city you'll see

northbound, 452. again, everyone traveling around at posted speeds, every camera i look at is looking real nice this morning, the schuylkill eastbound, city avenue, this is certainly one of those stretches in the morning that right around this time, we start to get some high volume levels, looking great. almost, dairy say on the schuylkill, looking like a ghosttown, talcony palmyra bridge scheduled to open 5:40, i'll certainly let you know it does so, right now look being like beautiful little bridge, that dark sky construction, i'm going get to that in just a moment. car fire northeast extension southbound past quakertown, all lanes are blocked, use alternate such as 309 for right now. and this is construction 495 north, off ramp to terminal avenue closed until next friday, november 13th. erika, back over to you. >> meisha, thank you. and e-coli scare has temporarily closed chipotle restraunts in oregon and washington state. health officials say 22 people in the two states have gotten sick, and they expect that number to go up as more people hear about the outbreak and go to their doctor.

nice and quiet. live lock at the ben franklin bridge, from our campbell's fields camera. again, just mid high-level clouds over us, that will be the rule today. so, not full sunshine, but enough sun get us above average. see high temperatures in the 60s, and each day just gets little warmer as we move into the middle of the work week. so here's what's happening, as far as weather headlines. will feel more like september, couple of chances for showers, coming up in the seven day forecast, talk about that in a little bit. but there are the the numbers, to the north, less clouds, able to drop the temperatures, reading, allentown, mid and upper 40's, closer to the city clouds thicken up. low 50's in philadelphia, similar conditions in wilmington, 52 doylestown, 53 mt. holly, new jersey, noise and pleasant out sigh right now, pretty much calm to maybe 5-mile per hour wind. so it is good for that early morning work out outside the bick ride, the jog, just walking the dog, really, looks pretty nice this morning.
