get a cloud in the afternoon, fair weather cloud, 71 degrees around noon time mid 70's at three. talking about temperatures right around 76 degrees and that trend continues in the end of the week. full details in a few minutes. what is the latest outside on the road. >> roadways are looking good on this wednesday morning, still early, many just waking up grabbing your first cup of coffee. we are still dealing with the overnight construction the vine east and westbound still closed between broad and the schuylkill, this is one of the area we will look at early in the morning because it has been closed down for that overnight construction. hopefully this will lift right around 5:00 a.m. right now just east and westbound between schuylkill and broad it is closed. ninety-five northbound between girard and the vine, two left lanes are block northbound one left lane is block moving in the southbound direction there. also, i-95 northbound approaching street road right lane blocked due to construction in that area. also one accident in new

jersey, route 322 is block at stone meeting house road, use an alternate such as oak grove road in and around that area not causing too many slow downs. this is where we had an accident in new jersey, route 206 is block but that is all clear, back to you. a man stab on the septa bus, this happened within the hour at forty-sixth and market in west philadelphia. police say that victim was stab in the head and male suspect jumped off the bus and got a away. victim is in stable condition at a hospital. new this morning a man is in critical condition after he stabbed outside a bar in the old richmond section of philadelphia a. >> police say a few friend were playing pool at a bar on the 2700 block of east thompson when a fight broke out over that game. the the 30 user old victim is transported to temple hospital but is expect to survive. >> he was playing pool and they got into a verbal altercation and argument. the argument spilled outside of the bar, that is where it

got physical, and that is where our 30 year-old victim was stabbed. >> police are hoping nearby surveillance footage will lead them to the suspect. new this morning police say a car stuck on the railroad track was hit by a freight train in montgomery county. norfolk southern freight train smashed her in a car near second and d post street around 12:40 this morning. woman behind the wheel was not behind the wheel of the car at the time but there was in injuries. philadelphia has counted votes and jim kenney is going back to city hall as mayor. >> former city council member defeated melissa bailey by six to one margin. three other candidates got less than 1 percent a appease. the justin finch joins with us a election recap. >> good morning. to many city hall insiders and outsiders, kenney's win came as no big surprise. as soon as today he is set to build his transition team. victory party, kenney told supporters that every

neighborhood matters. the hundreds gathered at jewish history museum as votes were counted and kenny emerged on top, having the winning the the party primary back in may. now on his agenda putting his campaign platform in action, that includes universal prek for city toddlers, fiscal plan for city schools and police reforms including the phase out of the cities stop and frisk policy which he says unevenly targets people of color. kenney's republican opponent melissa a murray bailey watched returns come in at united republican club. she called her teams effort successful and acknowledged the uphill battle it faced. 80 percent of the cities voters are democrats and it is a race now over they both counted the strength of their campaigns. >> what we did here is incredible, we talked about real issues, holding the city back. the the fact that we're not friendly to business, the fact

that our public schools are failing, so many of our children. >> behind this campaign we had environmentalist, feminist, teachers, working families, first responders, unions, public school parents, clergy, lgbt community, immigrants and so many more. together these groups did far more than just elect a new mayor, they proved that every neighborhood matters. >> and for the next month or so, kenney will be in transition mode building his team and aligning his support. before his january 4th swearing in. we are live at city hall, i'm justin finch for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". those with the most votes weren't only winners in the election. one lucky voter from south philadelphia is now $10,000 richer. the philadelphia citizen, a non-profit, non-partisan media group offered this prize as a way to increase voter turnout. bridget conn roy a school crossing guard was leaving her polling location when she got the news.

here's one more look at your head lines police are looking for a suspect who stabbed a man on the septa bus overnight and then ran off. this happened at forty-sixth and market streets in west philadelphia. the the victims in stable condition at a hospital right now. also this morning mayor election jim kenney will hold his first news conference since philadelphia voted him into office last night. former democratic city councilman defeated melissa murray bailey a and three others receiving 85 percent of the vote. ohio residents still cannot legally use marijuana for either recreational or medical use. voters said no to a proposal that would have allowed adults over 21 to purchase or grow certain amounts of marijuana. u.s. regulators, find takata corporation $70 million

happy wednesday. roadways looking good. things are cleared out of the way. this is where we had construction 95 north between girard and vine, two left lanes were blocked and since been cleared. already just a flow of vehicles hitting the roadway here on i-95. we can expect that in the southbound direction. overnight construction vine westbound now opened between broad and schuylkill but as you can see there just opening eastbound lanes now so it looks like eastbound and westbound right now they are all good to go. that is great. that is between broad and schuylkill. this is a ramp paving project in bensalem, ramp from street road to i-95 northbound that is blocked. as well as i-95 a approaching this ramp. let me back out of the way to see that. just be aware it is there. also, an accident from earlier in new jersey, still there involving a jackknife tractor trailer. this is route 322, blocked at stone meeting house road, use an alternate such as okra road. they are saying this might be

we will bring back cloud later tonight and tomorrow but enjoy today, pretty much full sunshine, a few afternoon cloud. look at temperatures responding to the sunshine, 53 by 8:00. 10:00 o'clock 63 in early afternoon in the lower 70's, afternoon highs will make it up to 76 degrees just like yesterday. plenty of sunshine. light breeze out of the south east at 5 miles an hour. tonight increasing cloud, fog along the water, new jersey delaware coastline and delaware bay, it is cool, 55 degrees. tomorrow we will keep skies mostly cloudy a couple light showers around 72 though still warm backup to 76 friday with more sunshine, showers coming in late in the day as cold front approaches. that cools us back down and there is nothing terribly cold. fifty-seven on sunday with sunshine and that is close to average. even next week temperatures climb in the mid 60's. we are looking at above average temperatures for first half of the november. erika and nicole, back to you. >> kind have of november i can get behind.
