five, half a mile, 1.3 in dover, getting better there. shore has a dense fog earlier a few hours ago but now full visibility, 10 miles in wildwood. there is improvement there. just depend where you are. fifty-seven at the airport. fifty-eight in wilmington. fifty in south jersey and millville and then again, some of the suburbs, similar story low to mid 50's this morning as we have cloud cover around holding in the the heat. there are light rain showers out there especially chester county, northern montgomery and lehigh valley. that will be the trend through this morning. we might find hit and miss shower but keep that in mind driving to work or will school. today morning dense fog and then cloud, sprinkle possible throughout the day. it is still warm. high temperatures hit lower 70's. breaking down numbers there by 9:00 o'clock 60 degrees. visibility, by noon time, 65, and still some clouds. still tough through the rest of the day. we are not talking 70 degrees today. that might happen tomorrow. we will talk about that

blocked until 3:00 p.m., nicole, over to you. developing right now, lots of questions, after a shooting a at a norristown apartment complex. >> two people are dead, people are still on the scene and police as well. so is "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch who joins us with the very latest information, good morning. >> reporter: erika and nicole, good morning. coroner a arrived here minutes ago, investigation remaining active this morning, it began late last night upstairs, the crime scene unit continues to investigate a second floor apartment, and let's take to you video from last night. this is police taping off exterior of the complex as ambulances were also here on stand by. we are told two people here were found dead, both shot at least one body found in the second floor hallway. reports of this shooting came in around 11:20 last night to norristown police. we are hearing police may have identified a person in connection with the shooting, perhaps a person who was inside that second floor unit that is now under

investigation. on the scene we are hearing this may have began as a confrontation before these shots were fired. we are fielding reports that the child may have been present at that time but there are no reports of the a child or anyone else injured at this time. lets take you to a second piece of video. now earlier we did see a woman in tears arrive here to the park place apartments a. she was ushered away by police and later left in her own car. now meantime investigators continued to process the scene both inside and outside, the apartment complex, and turn their attention hours ago to clues away from the building, showing you now live that second crime scene that emerged here in the 700 block of san i street the just soon after we got here after 4:30. this is a mercury sedan here live, taped off with police tape. that is involved in this investigation. unclear at this time who that car might belong to. lots of moving parts still now hours after the the shooting. we will bring you much more as

we get it, again, two people found shot to death last night. the investigation, erika and nicole continues this morning. we are live from norristown, i'm justin finch for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". keep you us updated justin, thank you. new this morning a ten year-old boy is shot by a paint ball gun as he walks his family to the neighborhood 7-eleven. that little boy was hit near the the eye, when a masked man opened fire with the paint ball gun near k and east luzerne streets in juniata around 11:30 last night. police say shooter was in the back seat of the passing car. >> the person sitting in the rear of that car fired about three shots from the pain ball gun and it struck the ten year-old boy. nobody else in the family was struck. >> police say shooter got away in the green honda four door south on k street. that ten year-old is expected to be okay. >> neighbors in philadelphia's logan section left frightened, disturbed after a gruesome act of animal cruelty. le tanya thomas says her pit bull and two, three month-old

erika and nicole. you can see pretty foggy behind me. the nypd suspended search but they tell me it is not because of the weather but because they have found everything after the small plane crash last night, including, one body. and nypd special operations division tweeted out several pictures last night and in the early morning hours as they work, off of breezy point, queens. the initial 911 call police sources say came in just before 8:00 with the caller reporting seeing a flash in the sky. nypd harbor units recovered debris about a mile and a half off shore. nypd believes at this point only one person was in this two seater plane. they say they recovered debris including a wing, a wheel and a tail. we're told the plane was heading from northeast philadelphia a last night, to maine. the faa is investigating this, the nypd plans to resume search for remainder of the debris, later this morning but

about this. what have have you learned? are you surprised by any of it. >> i'm in the surprised at all this study just came out by american academy of pediatrics, public in the journal, 350 kid, six months to four years old. study found that in this survey 50 percent of the kid less than within years old used tablets and mobile devices every single day to watch, games, or play games or watch movies and then by four, 3/4 of these kid owned their own mobile device at four years old. i'm not surprised. my nieces, she can navigate her way around an ipad better than i can. biggest question is what do we do with this kind of changing media landscape because of what we are seeing. >> it is not realistic to say just don't have your kid use a tablet or phone. but what do you think is right amount of time. >> that is a good point. i don't think it is realistic to say stop using it all. i don't think it is all bad. as a a family doctor, i don't.

let me give you history, the american a academy of pediatrics back in 203 came out with the policy statement that said they didn't recommend that kid use screen time more than two hours a day and actually didn't even recommend these mobile devices for kid less than two. the truth is things have changed. our research needs to catch up with this. painter what can you do? first of all use these devices with your kids. make it than a educational experience. make sure you pick quality programming for your kid. educational programming that they can learn from. the put those boundaries around media time use. this does not mean kid can spend all day on their tablets. they have get outside and play. also make sure they are using media safely making sure parents are talking to their kid about that. those are some guidelines that will help us a as we move forward but we need more research to kind of catch up with our medium. kids are using mobile devices more than they are using televisionness many cases. it is a big concern. >> i have a 15 month-old son
