when shower doors break, under law the glass used in showers is required to be safety glass, meaning it will prepping into little cubes. >> except sometimes those pieces don't separate like we see here. they won't separate quickly enough to protect the person in shower when they come crashing down. >> in this slow motion video. you can see exactly what he's talking about. the safety glass falls in big chunks. >> anyone inside the shower is at risk. >> to keep your family save, he recommends putting a safety film on glass used in showers. in this demonstration with code glass, you can see the glass stays together. >> i believe these shower doors should be designed like car windshields where the glass stays together even if it's broken. >> he warns something as simple as allowing a shower door to hit tile can cause breaks. parker ands the door hitting the wall in her hotel bathroom caused the glass to explode. >> you should be able to expect that you can go in there and open and operate and close a door without it exploding, and

injuring you. >> diana parker is suing the hotel in federal court. the four seasons had no comment. >> jim had similar stories about exploding glass ovens sun roofs, by why so many issues with tempered glass. >> any flaw can cause it to shatter. the flaw could end up with a manufacturer in this case if it hits the walls, people will look at their shower doors differently. we'll continue to follow this especially since the go. is looking into this as well. >> thank you. >> thanks. we have an update tonight on a story jim brought us last week. $33 million in tolls uncollected by the pennsylvania turnpike commission. pennsylvania's audit for general wants to know why the commission has been unable to collect those tolls. he announced today the beginning of an audit of the commission of the audit general also said will probe the turnpike's desk. >> shut shutting down fantasy

the state case against pennsylvania attorney general kathleen kane on additional perjury charges will go to trial in molk. a judge made the ruling following a preliminary hearing in norristown today. a new charges stem from the discovery of an oath kane signed binding her to secrecy in grand jury matters. prosecutors say kane laid when she testified she had never signed such an i think only. kane is already facing charges of leaking grand jury material and lying. in 2016 the republicans vying take the stage in milwaukee. four candidates including new jersey governor chris christy took part in the first one. the eight candidates with the highest poll numbers won the stage for main event. focused heavily on comic issues but ben carson the current front runner i was talked about allegations he's empty bell; corrected his life history. >> i thank you for not asking me what i said in the 10th grade. i appreciate that.
