"eyewitness news" reporter rahel solomon joins us from valley forge middle school in wayne where victim in this sexting controversy was a student, rahel. >> reporter: good evening. we're told that victim is now a a high school student. she was apparently like to start speaking out to other young victims of these crimes but chester county d.a. says she has been a very brave girl but no one should have to endure what she did. prosecutors needed a a flowchart just to explain how it all happened. >> boy one and girl are going out, and that is the victim. >> reporter: boy asked for suggestive photos, a girl agrees. things go south for young relationship and those pictures are shared among friend, shared among classmates, and then shared some more. >> they went after her on line, they went after her on social media, they went after her in school, as well. >> reporter: bullying here is believed to have happened last spring when the three boys and female victim were still in middle school at valley forge. the thursday a statement from the victim was read.

news". >> thank you for that. consumer reporter jim donovan will have more on the apps used to conceal sexting what parents should look for and what you can do to protect your children. her courage is something to behold a carjacked woman managed to stay alive after she is kidnaped in center city. now cbs-3 has learned exclusively that the suspect charged in that crime is also accused of victimizing another woman, just days earlier, and police wanted the suspect off of the street. the the victim talked to our walt hunter who is live at south detectives, with exclusive details, walt. >> reporter: well, detectives here at south division according to our sources, had wanted to arrest suspect, nathanal rodriguez in the the days before yesterday's frightening carjacking. they went to the district attorney's office, seeking an arrest warrant for the suspect, for rodriguez, because the victim of a similar attack, on friday, had identified him, and pick his

photo out but when detectives asked for a warrant that might have ten the suspect off of the street, the d.a.'s office said that they needed more evidence, and at 48 hours later, rodriguez allegedly struck again. cbs-3 has learned exclusively, that five days before accused a attacker nathanal rodriguez allegedly abducted, carjacked and robbed a 28 year-old woman at gunpoint, he was suspected of committing an almost identical assault, just a few blocks from wednesday morning's crime. >> pulled the gun out of his jacket pocket and told me to give him my cash. >> reporter: victim of the friday morning attack whose identity we are concealing and police, say that after she was ambushed at 11th and lombard, she was marched at gunpoint for blocks, ordered to remove cash from two, a atm machines along south street and a third nearby. after which the the robber released her unharmed, taking off in a taxi. >> wow just tell me if i

screamed, ran he would shoot me. >> reporter: the victim told me here at south detective division monday she pick out a picture of nathan allah rodriguez a photo spread, identifying him as her a attacker. >> i knew them right away as soon as i saw that picture it was him for sure. >> reporter: sources say when detectives requested an arrest warrant from the district attorney's office for rodriguez, it was declined, prosecutors, sources say, telling police, that they had to find more evidence, less than 48 hours after the district attorney's office decision, rodriguez, a allegedly attacked his latest victim, early wednesday. >> i feel bad for her. i know what she went through. >> reporter: now district attorney's office through a spokesperson confirms that they did decline to issue that warrant saying that they needed more evidence the from the the detectives here. meanwhile following at rest yesterday, rodriguez allegedly confessed to the earlier crime for which the d.a.'s office

"eyewitness news" has exclusive video tonight of the capture of an emu on the run for more than 60 days. emu was captured in owe december a, delaware. in one is sure who owns this bird but over past few weeks authorities have gotten an increasing number of birds hoff seen it around. bird triggered what authorities called a soft lock down at two elementary schools today. and our area to protest. >> lets look live from chopper three over philadelphia city hall. you can see the crowd there. the the demonstrations come in the wake of the the events at the university of missouri and some students want a higher minimum wage. our david spunt is live at city hall on the ground with more on this, david. >> reporter: yes, jessica and ukee. about 250 angry students behind me, let me back out of the way, they have been here for 45 minutes right now. it has been peaceful. they have not had any issues. they are protesting three important issues. they all arrived around the same time. one group come from temple, other two groups coming from penn and drexel. the the two main issues they are protesting is minimum wage, wanting to increase it to $15 from what it is right now. other issue is the racial tensions that is going along at different universities, namely, missouri as their leader steps down this week. third issue is college tuition and student debt. they want to see that go down.

three big issues from three big schools in this area. i had a chance to speak to a student from drexel and said she's fed up. >> you cannot expect this this minimum wage here is supposed to support anyone a and their family. it is absolutely ridiculous and atrocious. >> reporter: group plans to stay out here a little while long are. police detective are here to make sure things stay calm. they say they are. they want their message heard and they plan for more of these in the coming weeks. we are live at city hall, david spunt for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". new details in the investigation of the mysterious death of haddon township toddler brendan creato. source tells "eyewitness news" the boy's aunt met with members of the camden county grand injury think week. three-year old's body was discovered near woods near his father's home october 13th. so far an autopsy and toxicology tests both came back without any answers. no one has been charged. the attorney representing

brendan's aunt and camden county prosecutor's office declined to comment about the grand jury proceedings. developing right now, isis is claiming responsibility for two suicide bombings in beirut. at least 37 people are dead, nearly 200 more injured in one of the most deadly attacks in lebanon in years. the area is a strong hold of the shiite hezbollah group. isis has been fighting in syria and iran but until now has not had a recognized a filth in lebanon. at the white house today president obama, awarded nation's highest military honor to a former army captain. he tackled a sued side bomb inner 2012 and was credited with saving many lives. cbs news correspondent kenneth craig has that story that day was one of the days where i personally, felt uneasy, different. >> reporter: former army captain florence grouper says day he came face-to-face with the suicide bomber was worst day of his life.

"eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan has this store friday lawrence township. >> drivers, turn down the radio. >> reporter: in a police officer's world situations can turn deadly in an instant. >> show me your hand, driver show me your hands. get on the ground. >> reporter: for almost a year camden county police have been using u.s. marshals state of the art training simulator called burtram, you use real guns minus ammunition in active shooter sittions, that includes gunman in the school. >> he has a gun, drop your gun. >> everybody makes it out, alive, and everybody is shining rainbows and happy, unfortunately, in the law enforcement community that is not always how it happens. >> reporter: so far 120 camden officers have received virtual

less than five years behind bars. his sentencing date is set for next thursday. philadelphia a city council woman called for the firing of the three city prosecutors, the a assistant d.a.es are still employed after disclosures that placed them in the middle of the state e-mail porn scandal. "eyewitness news" reporter todd quinones joins us from our satellite center to tell us more about that, todd. >> reporter: no punches were pulled today a city council woman wants these prosecutors fired, she and other women are calling out district attorney seth williams. calling the e-mails, racist, philadelphia city council women band together promising to not let this quiet thely slide by. >> completely unacceptable. they need to go. we want to see answers. >> reporter: cindy bass is leading the charge with the philadelphia chapter of the national organization of women, otherwise known as now. today at city hall they pressed for much harsher punishment for three current prosecutors in the district attorney's office. >> they have to be at a higher

standard because they are in that office. >> reporter: mark, frank fina and pat lessington are tied to the porn gate scandal and e-mails exchange on government servicer while they worked at the state attorney general's office. >> these are gentlemen that received, accepted, and in some cases, passed these e-mails on, racist, and sexist. >> reporter: district attorney seth williams released a statement saying in part i have reached out to now on multiple occasion toss sit down and discuss this matter in greater detail, and to date they have refused. i agree that the material in question was offensive but would i remind everyone involved that this behavior never took place in the philadelphia a district attorney's office. >> but woman on city council argue that the e-mails under mine the prosecutor's credibility and calls into question their judgment, especially when it comes todayses involving, crimes where woman are the victims. >> people should not feel, they cannot trust, the system that has been established to

cbs-3. texas senator ted cruz is officially on the presidential primary ballot in new hampshire. this morning the republican submitted paperwork inside the courthouse in concord. new hampshire will be the first state in the nation to hold a primary for 2016 presidential election season. presidential candidate ben carson is defending his ties to a pittsburgh dentist, convicted of fraud. alfonso costa pled guilty to felony health care fraud after an fbi investigation. he avoided jail time after carson petitioned a federal judge for leniency. in 2013 as carson watched his presidential campaign he said those convicted of health care fraud should go to prison for at least a decade or lose all of their possessions. still to come on "eyewitness news" find out which retailer is putting their door buster black friday deals on line. then keeping clean by spraying live bacteria on your skin? sound crazy, but it may really work. health reporter stephanie stahl shows us why dirt might
