with overnight construction, things looking pretty good. justin, bring us the good news, flu. >> another bit of good news, yes, ma'am, forecast is great. dealing with a lot of sunshine today, high temperature should be high 50's, not even close to that, talking mid 60s, this afternoon, so almost 10 degrees above average. it is cool this morning, with clear skies, out here in the skydeck, little bit after breeze, but overall not too bad here in center city. at the airport it is 48 degrees. some suburbs, though, are cool. specially areas that have the calm wind. in the 30's up in allentown right now. 36 degrees in quakertown. mid 40's in doylestown. tal myra and almost 50 at this hour in mt. holly, new jersey, so again, just really depend on how fast the winds are at your location, 3-mile per hour winds speeds in wilmington, to up ten in philadelphia, so little bit after breeze this morning, not enough to really bring some brutal windchills in here, nice and quiet on storm scan3, and it will stay like that, really, for the next 48 to even 72 hours for the most part. nice dry stretch of weather. look at that pretty much full sunshine today break the temperatures by morning, by

noontime talking low 60s, and afternoon highs make it into the mid 60s, six a for the high for philadelphia, lower six 60s in the sunshine at the shore. even up in the mountains, poconos, doing good today, with mid 50's for the afternoon temperatures, we warm it up even more later this week, however, though. that will come with some rain chances, we will break down the details coming up in the seven day in few more minutes. we don't have to weather impact this morning. >> certainly not. thanks, justin for that great news. good morning, everyone, if you are waking up with us, we are so happy you are. here is a look at 59 southbound at girard, just backing into this 5:00 hour now. already certainly starting to see levels build, some parts on the schuylkill, certainly here, 95 southbound at girard, we can expect that usually on a monday and tuesday. ben franklin bridge looking good for those of you coming in from jersey looking good in all directions. certainly westbound what we are keeping our eye on, looking good there. this is where we had overnight construction, 95 north near report 291, lost the left lane again on interstate 95, since

cleared. so looking all good. but already just take a look at this, a lot of vehicles out on the roadways already, and new schedule for the lansdaledoylestown line expected today. make sure to check those schedules for both the weekday, and weekends schedules on line, this is where we have an accident, overturned tractor-trailer being ramp from 42 north onto 295 north, that ramp closed. so traffic being diverted onto exit 26 still this morning. erika, over to you. >> meisha, thank you. back to breaking news right now, woman shot and robbed during home invasion. the frightening ordeal happened overnight in port richmond. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo joins us now, at the scene, to bring us up-to-date. jan, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, i just got update from police, they tell me the woman who was shot here, the early morning hours in port richmond; now in stable condition. meantime there is neighborhood is on edge after learning the woman was shot during a very early morning home invasion. you can see, some of those people are still on the street this morning.

they are watching, police investigate, and wondering what is happening here, and what happened early this morning. now, police are still on the scene here in port richmond. they are securing the crime scene. they are also interviewing witnesses. this is the 2,000 block of buckea street in port richmond, police responded after 2:00 a.m. for report of home invasion. police say the suspect who burst in were wearing masks. they say one woman was shot, police took her to the hospital, and police now say she is in stable condition. meanwhile, no word about the suspects this morning. neighbors here tell me this woman just moved in, not too long ago, many here did not know her. all they know they say is that they heard loud bang this morning followed by a lot of police activity. take a listen. >> reporter: scared now. but don't want to go to sleep now. here for about 12 years. never, i mean, there is other stuff hang in the back, but carson fire, but not like this. >> that woman has a young son,

a lot of people in this neighborhood have children, so it is very frightening for them to learn that a woman was shot here overnight during this home invasion. you can see back out here live, police are still on scene, and interviewing witnesses, in fact, just before we came to air, they brought a witness outside of that house, a juvenile witness, a child. so this is still a developing scenario here again. one woman who was shot was taken to the hospital. police now say she is in stable condition. the search again is on for those suspect. reporting live in port richmond this morning, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> jan, thank you. also new this morning, a shooting involving a philadelphia police officer is under investigation in kensington. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins you now at the scene to bring us to up date. justin? >> reporter: erika, good morning, reports of this shooting came in about 2:45 this morning. an officer shooting his weapon at least twice and hitting one man here. there you will see behind us on east-west moore lands, crews still parked, arrow points to knife on the gown.

also two rounds shot on the scene. let's take to you video from overnight. we know police got that man to temple hospital. his condition has not yet been released. we do know that officer arrived to the area of f street and east-west moreland about 2:45 this morning. and then, a dispute erupt between that officer and at least one man, after a possible pursuit. at some point the officer discharged his weapon at least twice, and on scene we're hearing that man may have been armed with a knife. that of course would escalate that confrontation between the officer and that man. and again, police did get that man to the hospital. no other officers injured at this time there on the scene. let's take you back out live here. see very active presence every police detectives, as well as crime scene technicians still on the scene here figuring out what happened here. they did find surveillance cameras here on the scene. they will review the video from the cameras later. but again, that cruiser is till here on the scene here, and much of the actual evidence of the scene here, the arrow, corresponding to

the knife, and those two numbers to the rounds here, we will bring you much more information when we get it. live from kensington, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> justin, thank you. meanwhile, police are investigating a deadly shooting involving an off-duty philadelphia police officer. a housing authority officer. it happened last night on the 400 block of west school lane in germantown. police say two men tried to rob the pha officer. that will officer exchanged gunfire, killing one of the suspects. one neighbor says the violence does not surprise her. >> every day it is like somebody's getting shot, whether it is an adult, kids, seniors, these guns, just got out of hands. just going crazy. >> the other suspect got away and remains on the loose. the officer was not hurt. 5:06 right now. just minutes ago, french authorities identified two more suicide bombers involved in the deadly paris attack. and they say the masterminds is a man from belgium. meanwhile, france launched

debris. >> all i see is two infants, and just want to make sure that the investigation is protected and make sure these children are properly treated with the appropriate respect. >> medical examiner is investigating how both infants died. police are checking. >> people in central california cleaning up after this rare tornado hit yesterday afternoon. twister continued down, about two hours outside sacramento. you can see roofs there, ripped right off walls of some homes torn apart, and trees also ripped right out of the ground. officials say it has been at least several years since the tornado hit that area. and luckily, we can report that no one was hurt. lucky for us, nice quiet morning outside, justin, were you saying could be the best day we have all week? >> i think so. today will be hard to beat. temperatures running 10 degrees above average, mid 60s, lots of sunshine, winds, not too strong this afternoon, as well. so let's take you outside.

live look, from our roof camera, looking south, to center city. nice and quiet, dry roadways this morning, little bit of breeze to deal with. nothing terribly cold. some spots are in the 30's where we do have some calm winds. overall not bad start to the work week, how it should be. the set up what we are talking about, mild start to the week. temperatures running well above average. quick cool down tomorrow. because of the winds switching direction, but, middle to the ends of the week we warm it up again, however, though, will come with some rain chances unfortunately. forty-seven at the dover air force base, 41 in millville, new jersey, and look at that, mid 40's around philadelphia, some of the suburbs, but again, areas that go calm with the winds, 38 degrees, mullica hill, 45 as ten, 36 doylestown, doylestown not too far to the south. still mid 40's, so depend where you are this morning. we are protected by high pressure, nothing happening on storm scan3, so again, clear skies throughout your morning, into the afternoon, and our future weather model does show. >> this nice quiet conditions as we head throughout the

entire day. tonight once again clear, allow the temperatures to drop. tomorrow notice little more cloud cover returning, just sign of our next storm system that will be moving in for the middle of the week. temperatures today, look at that, low and mid 60s for the afternoon highs. tonight gets chilly again. seeing some 30's, 40's, by the time you wake up tuesday morning, winds switch more out of the east and northeast, so cooler wind flow. so temperatures get knock back to where they should be for this time of year. low and mid 50's, for afternoon highs on tuesday. but today, enjoy it, plenty of sunshine, up to 65 degrees. tonight, again, chilly with the clear skies. winds go northeast around five to 10 miles per hour, low around 45 for the sit. some 30's in the suburbs. enjoy tomorrow again. still a lot of sun, just about 10 degrees cooler highs mid 50's, more clouds return thursday, little miler, low 60s, there could be a shower in there, specially late in the day. best chance to see the rain will be on thursday at least through the first half of the day. pretty warm though. 67 degrees. if we had some sunshine, that would get us into the seven # zero's. friday, we cool it down again

behind the system, talking about upper 50's, and typical mid late november conditions, for the weekends, sunshine, saturday, sunday, highs in the 50's, let's check on those roads with meisha a good morning. >> just awesome, thanks so much. good morning to you. good morning to all of you at home just waking up with us. so glad you're here this monday morning, that's getting little busy. here is a look at 42 freeway, for those of in you jersey, 42 freeway northbound creek road right here looking pretty good. as you travel a little bit northbound, i can tell you, that north of this, overturned tractor-trailer onramp from 42 north to 295 north now closed, because that far overturned tractor-trailer that's not been cleared out of our way yet. so they are diverting traffic onto exit 26. for those of in you and around that area. let me erase that little line. this is a look at the schuylkill, one of the areas on a monday morning heats up fairly quickly, the schuylkill looking pretty good eastbound, and in the westbound direction, our he looking good, right off the roosevelt boulevard, southbound moving in the southbound direction,

where we are starting to see things heat up little bit. like i said eastbound looking good, and also, so is the westbound direction, on the schuylkill. ninety-five at academy looking pretty good, although looks like we do have some activity just starting to happen right now, this is pulled off all the way to the right t looks lick it is blocking some of the left, as well. just make note we do have activity again 95, southbound, at academy. this must have just happened. because i did not see that right before i got in front of the screen. soap, just make note of that. ninety-five southbound, moving in the south berks drowned, one of the areas this morning that's heating up. the more vehicles that get on the roadways, we can run into some myfoxphilly.com but luckily roadways nice and dry this morning. now this is where we have some construction, pa turnpike eastbound between valley forge and norristown, that right lane is still blocked in and around this area. and also, in the world of mass transit the new schedule for the lansdale doylestown line goes in effect today. you want to make sure to check on line both the weekday and the weekend schedule, erika, back to you. >> meisha, thank you. football players save his best

>> this is not something you see on the streets of philadelphia, two zebras on the lambment animals broke free from a circumstance us, as eyewitness neutral reporter rahel solomon shows us, now turning heads when rounds the up. it was a daring escape, and for a brief time, sunday afternoon, two zebras almost got a way with it. >> the animals had broken out of the universal circus near the man center for performing arts. this one was found some two and a half miles away,. >> came around, came around, and shot right -- it went shot

a krass, i'm like is that a zebra? >> spokesman for the circus said those animals were not hurt during their escape. meantime animal activists who had been out here the entire time the circus has been in philadelphia say the zebras could have easily hurt themselves, they do have caused serious traffic accidents. >> they took a ryan if your for it, traffic, people honking at them, almost causing accidents if they didn't cause accidents. so overall it is a horrible incident. >> now said to be out of the hospital, and recovering. >> in a statement, the circus said it is investigating sunday's escape. >> i saw a zebra. like, all right, something weird happened. >> sunday the final night for the circumstance just philadelphia, the show and the zebras will move on now to their next location. stories of their grand short lived escape remain behind.
