woman just moved into the neighborhood, jan? >> unfortunately the neighbors don't know much about this woman. she just moved in. really didn't have much interaction with her at all. meantime live here at the scene, you can see, police have now wrapped up their investigation, on and at the scene, but there is a lot of questions that still remain unanswered. that they're going to be looking into today. mainly what they got away with. what they do know the woman shot in its home invasion taken to the hospital now in stable condition. this is a video we got, little bit a while ago, now, when the investigators were here on the scene. this is the 2,000 block of buckea street in port rich mom. police responds the just after 3:00 a.m. for that report of home invasion. police say suspect who burst in here were wearing masks, one woman was shot again, taken to the hospital now in stable condition. no would be about the suspect.

reopened the streets where the shooting happened overnight. also focusing on the corner where that shoot something believed to have happened here. let's take you now to video, here's a look at the knife, that was found by that police cruiser. we did see officer even on scene talking to detective near that evidence. appearing to walk through what happened here. some hours earlier. initial reports are that man who was shot may have been armed with that knife that was found here on the scene, what we know so far is that officer arrived here at about 2:45 this morning, around the 600 block every east-west moreland, and on scene we're hearing this may have been where pursuit of the man came to an end. now, at some point, there was a dispute that officer fired, at least two rounds, wound that man, and police did get him to temple hospital, his injuries are said to be non-life threatening. >> on the scene here, police look around here, and did find evidence of surveillance

cameras, at businesses lick this one here to my left here, that the thought is that those cameras may have caught what happened here on this corner overnight, of course, this remains under investigation that man shot, his injuries thought to be non-life threatening. here in kensington, justin finch, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", erika. >> justin, thank you for. that will meanwhile police also investigating deadly shooting involving off duty philadelphia housing authority officer. it happened last night, on the 400 block of west school lane in germantown. police say two men tried to rob the pha officer, that officer exchanged gunfire killing one of the suspect. one neighbors say the violence does not surprise her. >> somebody getting shot, one whether it is adult, kids, seniors, these guns just got out of hand. just going crazy. >> the other suspect got away and remains on the loose. the officer was not hurt.

late yesterday, this american airlines flight from washington, d.c., to boston, was delayed after passengers reported two men on board were acting suspiciously. the men were eventually questioned, and released. don champion, cbs news, new york. meanwhile, facebook is under fire for activating it safety check feature after the paris terror attacks. the feature allows facebook users in the area to notify their friends that they're safe. it has only been used five times before after some natural disasters. some people, though, later asked facebook why they didn't activate the feature after thursday's deadly bombings in lebanon. ceo mark zuckerberg wrote on the facebook policy until saturday, activate safety check only for natural disasters, but the future will be turned on after human disasters, as well. 35:00, plenty of eagles fans waking up frustrated after the birds one point lost, one point lost to the dolphins, in the process, quarterback sam bradford also got hurt, so

investigation is very much underway. they're trying to figure out how this woman ended upshot and in the hospital this morning after this very early morning home invasion here in port richmond. take a look at the video, you can see the scene earlier today. this is the 2,000 block of buckea street in port richmond. told police responds here just after 3:00 a.m. for a report after home invasion and robbery. now, police say, the suspect who burst in here were reportedly wearing masks. now one woman was shot. police took her to the hospital. police now say she is in stable condition. meanwhile, no word this morning on about those suspect. what they were after, or what they got away with, if anything. this is still a developing story. police are now interviewing witnesses, back out here live on scene, we just saw couple of people lever the home and question where this all happened last night. earlier this morning, two witnesses left the house with police, as well. we are talking about an adult, and a young child. so we will stay on top of this story. but again, that woman who was shot in the hospital now in stable condition. reporting live in port
